Le Journal d`Alister
Le Journal d’Alister N° Trial Issue - June - July 2016 EDITORIAL Science Accueil is growing, evolving, becoming more diversified. Its focus is to embody a new kind of French hospitality, so that the Ile-de-France region radiates and willingly becomes part of the dynamics of territorial economic development. From now on, the Journal d’Alister will replace the Science Accueil Info newsletter. We will meet again in the fall, with a modernized, upgraded version of your news bulletin. Until then, let me wish you a beautiful and inviting summer. Its aim is to become one of the world's leading research centers in the field of solar energy. Its name is Alister! Alister is our new mascot. Inspired by the small green parrot which settled in the greater Paris area and particularly in the parks and wooded areas of the Vallée de Chevreuse, it exotically symbolizes the journey. Also, its extended wing stands for the warm welcome we offer our guests. Along with Alister, our brand new logo displays two slogans: “Move Easier!” and «Agitateur de Mobilité», which, when it comes to mobility, reflects Science Accueil’s willingness to push back the boundaries and bring more life into French hospitality. Our association will present companies with dedicated services available to scientists who move to Ile-deFrance. Paris-Saclay Connexion – July 5, 2016 Palaiseau EDF Lab.
