Abstract – This study was conducted to gather empirical data to ascertain the quality of
graduate education through students’ satisfaction level in relation to faculty, curriculum and
instruction, research, admissions and registration office, library, accounting office, and other
resources and services, and to improve the graduate school curricula and basic services of the
institution to its clientele. The researcher used the descriptive cross-sectional design of research
and descriptive statistical analysis during the Academic Year 2015-2016. The students were
very satisfied in relation to various identified factors. The professors were exerting more efforts
to assist students in enhancing their research competencies. They utilized instructional
procedures and techniques to encourage active faculty-student interaction. There were support
services for research, thesis and other requirements, like critiquing and editing for language and
format of research reports. Admission and registration policies and procedures are contained in
the school’s catalogue or bulletin of information. The open-shelf system was adopted in the
library. The accounting staffs were honest in collecting and returning the right amount of fees
from students. There was a specified room which provided privacy for academic consultation
and advising. Technical personnel were always available in case of emergency or sudden
breakdown of equipment. Auxiliary services such as guidance, dental, medical, and religious
were made available for students. The degree of students’ satisfaction was attributed by the
continuous improvement in the graduate school since the beginning of its voluntary submission
to external accreditation.
Keywords: Graduate education, students’ satisfaction, basic services, appraisal, crosssectional design
