DOOR FRAME:
Manufactured using heavy-duty structural channel sections.
MANUFACTURING CONDITIONS:
Varies according to each project’s required panels architecture. The exterior coverings can be chosen from the VicWest
catalog.
WINDOWS:
THREE-BUTTONS CONTROL:
Activated through momentary contact to open, close or stop
the door. The operator may be stopped in any position from
which the door can be opened or closed. The close button
can be wired for constant pressure upon request. The control
circuit is a class II 24V. in A.C.
SAFETY INTERLOCKING:
Any model available on the market can be installed.
Automatically cuts power to the operator control when the
chain hoist is in operation.

SAFETY FEATURES:
Provided by 51 to 152mm thick standardized ‘RX40’ mineral
wool.
A lintel weatherstrip made of a 6’’ heavy brush mounted on a
aluminum retainer is installed along the soffit, and a 3’’ light
brush is placed at the bottom of each panel. A neoprene extrusion made at the junction of each panel ensures the door
remains weathertight.
OPERATION:
The brakes securely lock the door when closed and prevent it
from coasting when open.
There are two standard safety features. The first is a pressure
sensing device located at the bottom of the door which provides the most sensitive, fast acting reversing signal available
and doubles as a weather-tight seal. The second is a mechanical device that locks the door in the event of cable rupture,
chain rupture or power failure.
Provided by extra heavy-duty custom designed industrial
electric door operators engineered mainly for large stacking,
vertical-lift and rolling-curtain doors, and for small sliding
hangar doors.
INSTALLATION:
REDUCTION:
Requires an even number of panels. The two center drive-panels open the door by sliding half of the other panels on each
side.
Provided by a single stage worm gear reducer (40:1) running
in an oil bath inside a C flange design cast iron alloy housing.
Sprockets and a No. 60 roller chain connect the operator
shaft to the door shaft. This system allows for a door speed of
approximately 18cm/s.
ADJUSTABLE TORQUE LIMITER:
The limiter protects the door and operator in case of obstruction (optional).
Limit Switches: Easily adjustable without tools, the limit switches, which are rotary-type with oilite bronze cams and precision micro-switches, allow for automatic stopping of the
door in open or closed positions.
Done according to manufacturing specifications and approved shop drawings.
BI-PARTING SLIDING HANGAR DOOR:
MONO DIRECTIONAL SLIDING HANGER DOOR:
Can accommodate any number of panels. One drive-panel
opens the door by sliding all the others either left or right,
depending on the initial installation.
INDEPENDENT SLIDING HANGER DOOR:
Can accommodate any number of panels, each one moving
independently to the left or the right. This door is manually
operated.

standard and custom applications. Each series
can include a number of options - from windows
and safety stripes to remote controls and logic

Mono-Tech TM
The Mono-Tech doors are ideal for locations with high ceilings and narrow installation space. With a maximum height
of 6700mm, they are built to withstand heavy-duty uses
and wind loads up to 0.96 Kpa.
Multi-Tech Pro TM
The Multi-Tech Pro doors are engineered for heavy-duty
and heavy-traffic usage. They are manufactured to accommodate high ceilings and narrow installation spaces and
can withstand wind loads up to 0.96 Kpa.
Multi-Tech Ultra TM
The doors from the Multi-Tech Ultra series are best in sectors with heavy traffic. They are very robust, having been
engineered and manufactured for heavy-duty applications
and to be able to withstand wind loads up to 1 Kpa.
Multi-Tech Mega TM
The Multi-Tech Mega series of sliding hangar doors are
ideal for aircraft or train hangars and for the boating and
agriculture industries. These doors can accommodate very
large openings and are built to last, being engineered and
manufactured for heavy-duty use and high wind load conditions. They can be insulated or not, depending on the
required application.
THE DOORS FROM THE
MULTI-TECH TM SERIES*
*The following specifications are intended for Mono-Tech, Multi-Tech Pro et Multi-Tech Ultra doors
GUIDES SECTION:
Made of a 6.4 mm thick grade 44W steel ‘Z’ section, a 6.4mm
thick steel base plate, structural angle irons and a system of
pulleys mounted on self-aligning pillow blocks. The guides
are reinforced using structural angle irons welded from the ‘Z’
section to the building.
COUNTERWEIGHT SECTION:
Made of ‘Z’ and ‘C’ sections of 6.4mm thick grade 44W steel
joined by structural angle irons and a steel flat bar, a 6.4mm
thick steel base plate welded at the bottom, a system of pulleys and sprockets mounted on top and an access door for
assembly and maintenance. The blades are guided by a series
of 51x51x6.4mm structural angle irons welded vertically, and
the weight by 51x51x3.2mm structural angle irons located on
the inside of the section. In this configuration, each blade is
controlled by its own weight.
DRIVE SYSTEM:
Made of pulleys and sprockets mounted on a 1045 carbon
steel solid shaft which sits on heavy-duty self-aligning flanged pillow blocks. The blades and weights are joined together
by a 6.4mm high-grade steel cable and a #60 roller chain, for
a safety factor of 7:1.
WINDOWS:
The standard windows are 610x305x25.4mm, ‘THERMOS’
type.

FINISH:
The doors are painted on both sides to the chosen color in
accordance to manufacturing specifications.

1-1/2 Hp, 600V, three-phase 60Hz motor.
INSTALLATION:
Done according to manufacturing specifications and approved shop drawings.
BLADES:
The frames are manufactured using structural channel sections and structural angle irons. The blades, ranging from 51
to 152mm thick, are covered on both sides by 16 gauge steel
plates.

WEATHERSTRIPING:
Provided by 3.2mm thick U-shape santoprene extrusions for
the bottom section and a double contact santoprene extrusion mounted on an aluminum retainer for the sealing of the
blades from the guide and counterweights sections.
