Although generally referred to as ‘chemical’ peels, most conventional peeling items feature
organic alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), which are effective in removing hardened keratin
cells but are also known to occasionally increase the photosensitivity of the skin.
Enzymes offer a gentler alternative. Enzymes are the catalysts for all the biochemical reactions

innovative ingredient is made up of loosely bonded clusters of ‘capsules’, each containing
silk powder. Light massaging causes these clusters to break apart, instantly dispersing silk
powder granules over the skin surface, where they go to work to remove pore-clogging
sebum and impurities quickly and efficiently. Unlike the larger, irregularly shaped seed
particles and chemical compounds of conventional scrubs, the silk powder granules are
