SUMMARY
Review of Urdu newspapers published by the India Policy Foundation (IPF) was not at all liked by
Jamate Islami and its mouth piece Dawat wrote an editorial over it with the headline – A planned
attempt to divide Indian society. Now, the question is that if Indian society can be divided by analyzing
different news reports in Urdu Newspapers. If presenting the truth is not crime then why Jamate Islami
is bothered about it? Is not is truth that the aim of Jamate Islami is to bring Nijam-e-Mustafa (Islamic
nation) in the country? Though Jamate Islami claims to be a cultural organization but since 1960 it was
trying to enter into politics from the back door. Isn't it dangerous for the unity of the country to dream
of making the country an Islamic nation and opposing democracy? There was uproar in Andhra
Pradesh and Telengana last week when police killed seven terrorists. Radical Muslims alleged that the
police deliberately killed Muslim youths. Several Urdu Newspapers joined this campaign. It was
alleged that the police killed innocent youths while truth is that these people killed in Andhra Pradesh
were seven SIMI terrorists who escaped from Khandwa jail. In this police encounter two police
personal were also killed. Other five policemen killed were associated with a terrorist organization
Galba Islam Party. They were alleged to be responsible for brutally killing three policemen. Killing
innocent people in the name of encounter cannot be tolerated by the civil society but those who were
killed in these two incidents were dreaded terrorists. In such situation advocating them cannot be
justified.
These days Sangh Pariwar is in the line of fire of Muslim organizations. Jamiat Ulama e Hind and
Jamate Islami don't want to miss any opportunity to target Sangh leaders. Secretary of Mahmood
Madni faction of Jamiat Ulama Maulana Naumani is running a campaign against various organization
of Sangh in Urdu newspapers.
Painful condition of minority Hindu in Pakistan is reflected from the decision of the Pakistan Supreme
Court that ruled on the petition of chief of Pakistan Hindu Panchayat Ramesh Kumar who alleged that
Muslims captured a temple in 1979 in a village in Khaibar Pakhtunva. There were hands of some
political leaders in this sordid deed. They gave a proposal to Hindu leaders that if they pay a sum of Rs
3.75 lakh, the land would be given back to them. Hindus contributed and the amount was paid to
Muslim leaders. Muslim leaders had taken the money but refused to return the land. President of
Hindu Panchayat filed a case in the court saying that demolition spree to Hindu temple by Muslims is
continuing from very long time and the government and the police are part of it. When the Supreme
Court issued notice to the state government, the public prosecutor tried to push up the matter. When
this continued for long, the SC instructed the state government to built a temple on own its
expanses. Now, the interesting thing is that if the government follows instructions of the court or
not.
Interesting information is coming from Turkey that indicates radicals Islamists once again taking rains
in the country. Recently work for converting an old monument in the capital city of Turkey into

mosque started. Around 1500 years ago this building was erected as a Church which was around 1000
years ago converted into Sufia mosque. In 1932 this building was made museum by Kamal Ataturk. As
per the news reports coming in from there, an imam has started reciting Quran there. Intention of the
incumbent government it Turkey is to convert this building into a mosque again. A new political
formation is taking place in the country and Radical Islamists are once again in power. The new
government recently invited over a dozen Urdu journalists from India. These journalists criticized
Kamal Ataturk in a bitter manner and declared him enemy of Islam. They welcomed the fact that
Islamic rule is once again established in Turkey.

Why India Policy Foundation is under attack from
Urdu media?
Dawat, mouth piece of Jamate Islami, on April 19, 2015 published an editorial on the front page
targeting publication of analysis and review of Urdu media by India Policy Foundation (IPF). The
newspaper gave headline to this editorial – Planned attempt to divide Indian society.
The newspaper said mentioning preface of online newsletter of the IPF that some of the newspapers in
the country tried to break social fabric of the country and were always in the look out to start the
communal fire. Recently Urdu newspapers started a campaign against Hindu leaders and
organizations. They tried to incite Muslim leaders by using the statement of Sarsanghchalak Shri
Mohan Rao Bhagwat and other leaders. This is absolutely false that Sangh leaders are harming unity of
the country. The bitter truth that Shri Bhagwat spoke about Christian missionary Mother Teresa had
been used by the newspapers to incite minorities against Hindus. This is mentioned in the analysis of
Urdu media in Hindi and English in the preface of the issue dated March 16-31. Important Urdu
newspapers were analyzed and presented in Hindi and English with comments. Its purpose is to make
opinion about Muslims among intellectuals of the majority community but with a pre conceived idea.
The organization is trying to influence policy of the country. Though IPF started working in 2008 but it
became more active since the Narendra Modi government had taken over. Its real objective is
discussion on national and international issues and to give a particular tilt to the policy decisions.
Presenting reports of Urdu newspapers in a clever manner that serves their interest has been their real
objective. The organization outlining its objective on its website claims strengthening democracy in the
country and guiding the nation for the challenges put before it. Its real objective is to play active role in
the matters of national interest. The organization has been doing research on policy matters with the
collaboration of several other institutions of India and abroad. It also takes help of seminar and brings
out book to arouse public consciousness.
The IPF in its recent issue covered news reports from 28 Urdu newspapers and projected them as antiRSS. Now let us analyze their claim of being democratic. This organization is learning from Israel to
strengthen social fabric of the country. In the recent past, deputy chief of mission of Israeli Embassy
and honorary director of IPF Rakesh Sinha had a meeting to encourage mutual cooperation. This and
over a dozen other such policy organizations have been playing special role in the policy decisions.
Between March 18 and 19, 2015 another group India Foundation organized a seminar on antiterrorism where national and international thinkers participated. This organization was started by
Ram Madhav around 8 years ago. In this seminar Union Home minister Rajnath Singh called Muslim
patriot. Later on it was known that in this seminar against terrorism six Union ministers and other
experts participated. Role of the son of National Security Advisor Ajit Dobhal was importation in it.

Comment : Jamate Islami and its mouth piece Dawat are put off with the IPF because it has been able to
expose them. Isn't it in the national interest to expose Urdu newspapers running mischievous and false
campaign against the country and the majority community? Isn't it true that several Urdu newspapers
are published from India but they speak the language of Pakistan? Will editor of Dawat dare to
produce a single instance where news report or editorial in Urdu newspapers are not presented in a
twisted manner? Why Jamate Islami is uneasy for the IPF exposing anti-national newspapers, news
reports and comments. Jamate Islami is such an organization that has been banned by Bangladesh.
Relations of leaders of Jamate Islami of Jammu and Kashmir with Pakistan are not hidden to anyone.
Isn't it true that banned Islamic organization SIMI was once part of the Jamate Islami? Isn't it that hands
of SIMI people were found in terror activities in the country? Is it not true that people involved in bomb
blasts in the country have been found having close relationship with Jamat? Isn't it true that Jamat
wants to convert India into Nijam e Mustafa (Islamic nation)? Was not the founder of Jamate Islami
Maulana Madudi fiercely opposed to democracy? Is it not true that Kerala government banned several
publications of Jamate Islami as it considers them anti-National? Is it not true that the organization by
donning the rob of religious and cultural organization is actually involved in politics. Will leaders of
Jamate Islami tell that in the past two years how many times they visited Pakistan? Jamate Islami is
tainted with terror allegations. What are the relations Jamate Islami has with Mutamvare Islami of
Saudi Arabia and Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt? Dawat must throw some light on it.
Is it not true that once Muslim Muttihida Mahaz contested Lok Sabha elections with the blessings of
Jamate Islami, Maulana Muzaffar Hussain and Maulana Israrul Haque were elected to Lok Sabha. Is it
not true that Maulana Muzaffar Hussain was put on house arrest under defense of India rule?
Is it not true that at the instance of Jamate Islami a discontented leader of Jamiat Ulama Atikurahman
Usmani formed an organization of 17 Islamic outfits All India Majlish Mushrawat that fielded
candidates for the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections? Is it not true that Jamate Islami formed a political
party Welfare Party of India to contest elections in the country and tried to form a Sanyukt Morcha of
Muslims and other minorities? This is a different matter that despite its entire attempt to influence
politics of the country, it failed miserably.
Is it a crime of the IPF to analyze and review Urdu newspapers and what for leaders of Jamate Islami
are so annoyed? Is bringing truth before the nation a crime?
II
Ruckus over killing of terrorists
Siyasat (April 5, 2014) reported that the police killed two terrorist in Nalgaunda district who were
associated with banned terrorist organization SIMI. According to director general of Telengana police
Anurag Sharma, those killed included Mohammad Ezazuddin and Mohammad Aslam. They had fled
from the Khandwa prison of Madhya Pradesh in 2013. As per Sharma, when encounter with these

terrorist took place one policeman was killed while two got injured. These two terrorists were alleged
to be involved in bomb blast at Chennai railway station. They were also alleged to be responsible for
bomb blast at Ganesh temple in Pune. The police said that when they were asked for frisking, they
refused and opened fire at the police in which two home guards were killed and three police personal
got injured. A carbine and two pistols were recovered from them. The police are looking for their four
other accomplishes. They are also alleged to be looting a bank in Karim Nagar. The machine gun
recovered from them was of the police. Intelligence people are looking for these people. After this
incidence, five other Islamic terrorists were killed when they were being taken to a Hyderabad court
from Warangal jail. It is said that one of their accomplish fled. The police said that these terrorists were
taking shelter in a mausoleum in Sita Rampur. The management of the mausoleum was also being
quizzed.
According to Munsif (April 7, 2014), the entire country was put on alert for the arrest these terrorists.
The police arrested some SIMI workers in Kurnool. According to NIA, five accomplishes of these
terrorists are being searched. The police claimed that two terrorists were killed in Andhra Pradesh. The
looted an ATM in Lucknow in February and killed three people.
According to Roznama Rashtriya Sahara (April 9, 2015), Jamiat Ulama e Hind general secretary
Maulana Mahmood Madni criticized the police encounter in Warangal. He alleged that the police
arrested these Muslims in false cases of terrorism but when they were unable to produce evidences,
they killed them in encounter. He demanded CBI investigation into the matter and also said that the
matter would be challenged in the court. Jamate Islami general secretary Nusrat Ali demanded arrest
of guilty police officials and cases filed against them in the court. He demanded Rs 1 crore
compensation to every family member of the alleged terrorists killed in encounter. He said that
pictures of the people published in newspapers had their hands tied in seats and they were
handcuffed. The story of the police in this regard appears to be a complete false. President of All India
Majlish Mushrawat Dr Zafar Islam Khan said, “If we don't get justice in India, we would go to
international forum so Indian Muslims get some respite from the government terrorism.”
Muslim leaders and Urdu newspapers unleashed a campaign against the government for the killing of
dreaded SIMI terrorists.
Roznama Rashtriya Sahara (April 9, 2015) attributed Congress leader Digvijay Singh calling the
Warangal encounter of Wakaruddin as fake. Communist Party of India demanded high-level enquiry
into the matter.
Roznama Rashtriya Sahara on April 9, 2015 wrote in its editorial that voices against these encounters
have started emanating from Andhra Pradesh and Telengana. In the Warangal district of Telengana
five Muslims prisoners were killed in an encounter. Similarly in the disguise of smugglers of
sandalwood, the police killed 20 laborurs in the state. Congress leader Digvijay Singh said that the way
encounter was done in Gujarat, similar encounter was done in Telengana. Father of Wakarudding
demanded CBI inquiry into the matter. The CPI has been demanding compensation to 20 laborurs
killed in encounter but it is not demanding compensation for five Muslims. If both these incidences are
fake encounters then why double standard. There are several incidence of fake encounter but they are

put in the cold storage. Encounters of Ishrat Jahan in Gujarat and Sohrabuddin in Rajasthan could be
termed as fake. Similar is the case of the Batla House encounter. The government must ensure that the
police don't kill innocent people.
According to Inquilab (April 9, 2015), Shahi Imam Syed Ahmed Bukhari termed it as brutal killing.
Chief of Jamate Islami Jalaluddin Umri said that this matter would be taken up across the country so
any policeman could not dare to kill Muslim youths.
Azizulhind on April 10, 2015 expressed concern in its editorial that spree of killing Muslims in fake
encounter is not stopping. The newspaper reported that story of the police was absolutely false.
Telengana police killed two youths Aslam and Amzad in such encounters. The police claimed that they
were SIMI activists who had fled from Khandwa jail. The newspaper complained that implicating
Muslims in false cases are continuing unabated. The same newspaper published the statement of All
India United Democratic Front president and MP Maulana Badrudding Azmal in which he demanded
CBI inquiry into the matter. He said that the story told by the Telengana police was unbelievable. The
police deliberately killed these innocent Muslims.
Siyasat on April 09, 2015 editorial alleged that the Telengana police killed these innocent Muslims in
revenge. So the police and the government must have to answer before people. Muslims would not
look into the matter silently. If Muslims are keeping silent, then no one can guarantee security of
Muslim youths. The newspaper expressed concern that there was lack of unity among Muslims
which emboldened the administration. Another newspaper Munsif on April 9, 2015 alleged that the
police were killing innocent Muslims deliberately because hands and legs of the people killed were
tied. They were also tied in seats. Statements of the police were not reliable. Another newspaper
Itmad (April 9, 2015) alleged that the police were breaking laws and they were not encounter but
murder. The Central government cannot escape from the responsibility just by asking report from
the state. They are equally responsible in this crime. Muslims of the country must raise voice against
it.
According to Siyasat (April 9, 2015), several dozens of Muslims have been killed by the police. In July
1993, Fasi Ahmed was killed in police encounter while in 2002 alleged mastermind of Sai Baba temple
Syed Aziz and Azam was killed by Karim Nagar police. In 2004, one Muslim mujahid Salim Azmi was
killed in police encounter in Saidabad. His four accomplish were recently killed. Siyasat published
many pictures of their funeral procession. As per the news report, the crowd turned violence when
bodies were being buried and several vehicles were destroyed.
Siyasat in its editorial on April 9, 2015 complained that the police were killing Muslims in a planned
manner. The newspaper demanded that the guilty police officials must be punished and cases must be
filed against them.
Nai Dunia on April 20, 2015 reported that the way bloodbath was being played against Muslims that
had demolished faith of Muslims in chief minister of Telengana and Telengana Rashtra Samiti. The
newspaper alleged that Muslim Ittehada Musalmin was trying to cover up the matter instead of taking
a solid step.

Inquilab on April 22, 2015 alleged in the main news report that a committee constituted by the people
revealed that the truth of the police claim of killing five terrorist is that they were killed by the police
and guns were placed besides them later. The committee also claimed that Aaler where encounter
took place, traffic for two kilometers was closed. The committee demanded judicial probe into the
matter.
Siyasat on April 14, 2015 in its editorial criticized the fake encounter. The newspaper demanded that
investigation must be done by the CBI to probe this fake encounter. The newspaper said that special
investigation team would have Telengana police team and you cannot expect impartial enquiry.
Action must be taken against guilty police officials.
According to Siyasat on (April 11, 2015), over the killing of SIMI terrorists in police encounter vioent
Muslim youths caused ruckus outside Mecca mosque in Hyderabad. The police registered 11 cases on
attacking police and stone pelting. The police resorted to Lathicharge in which several people got
injured.
According to Siyasat (April 12, 2015), the police arrested several dozens of Muslims involved in this
violence.
Siyasat on April 17, 2015 published a news report in which it was claimed that Mohammad Ahmed
father of deceased Waqar Ahmed sent a letter to chief justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court on
April 25, 2015 in which he expressed his suspicion that his son was killed in fake encounter. Naxal
leader Barabar Rao alleged that the police were killing Muslim youths under a conspiracy. He said that
Telengana chief minister Chandrashekhar Rao got killed Muslim youth under pressure from the
Central government and the RSS.

Masarat Alam a puppet in hands of Pakistan
The way Masarat Alam was released by chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mufti Mohammad
Sayeed and later on arrested again under pressure from the BJP triggered violent protests in the valley.
Delhi-based weekly Nai Dunia warned in its editorial on April 27, 2015 that Pakistan was once again
trying to diminish peace in the Valley. Self proclaimed messiah of people in the Valley were looking for
a new pawn in the name of Masarat Alam to implement their design. This included political decision of
releasing prisoner and schemed to get Masarat arrested to throw the Valley in the fire. He started it at
the time when tourist season in the Valley starts. Masarat is such a leader who always praises Pakistan.
When handful of people were shouting slogan 'Meri Jaan Pakistan', it made news but no one paid
attention to the action of Pakitani pawns. This group does whatever is asked by its bosses sitting in
Pakistan. These puppets of Pakistan must be asked that why thousands of people are killed in the land
where they were shouting slogan 'Pakistan Meri Jaan'. The Pakistan which is in pain over killing of

Kashmiries is unable to see bodies of Shias in its own courtyard. Had he raised voice against killing of
Shias and terror of Pakistani Taliban, he would have deserved heaven. But Masarat Alam is getting
something from Pakistan to destroy peace in the Valley where there is peace, happiness and
democracy. In this game of Pakistan the real culprits are Indian pawns of Pakistan. They are trying to
give message to Pakistan by raising Pakistani flag that people across the border are looking at them
while the truth is that bosses of dying Huriyat Conference are worried. Masarat Alam was in the Jail
but when PDP-BJP government came to power in J&K, he was released under a political game-plan but
now Mufti must be regretting the way Masarat bitten him. There was a complete peace before Masarat
was released. No one paid attention to release and arrest of Masarat but politics of Mufti awaken
terrorists across the border.
The biggest terrorist in Pakistan who hates India like anything and mastermind of Mumbai terror
attack raises anti-India voice at every platform. However, no one accepted the fact that there were
hands of Pakistani government and Army behind Hafiz. Now, Hafiz is so emboldened that he declared
it openly getting support of Pakistan and its Army against Jihad in India. What Hafiz Sayeed said
might cause problem not only for the Army but also for the country. Hafiz Sayeed told a TV channel
that the Pakistan government and Army are with us in jihad for Kashmiries against India. Which force
is encouraging Hafiz Sayeed and why Pakistan is not worrying of getting exposed? Nawaz Sharif
government is hapless to pull string of these jihadies. Pakistan is on a full time mission in Jammu and
Kashmir. They are inciting separatist so there is a need for security forces to remain cautious. There
must not be a situation to open fire in retaliation of stone palters. There is a need for intelligence
agencies to become more active so anti-India protests are avoided. Hurriyat Conference was confined
to its office near Rajbhag during the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. A senior leader said that once
lakh of people used to gather at the call of Syed Ahmed Shah Ghilani but now it is difficult to mobilize
even hundreds. Media is fanning the activities of separatists for TRP. Hurriyat Conference's call for
protest against Taral incident was a complete dud. But strange thing is that incidents of stone pelting
took place in north Kashmir but news channel projected as it was across the Valley. This has sent a
message as if every Kashmiri is a separatist, anti-national and supporter of Pakistan

Jihadi leader glorified
Hindustan Express on April 8, 2015 reported that Institute of Objective studies decided to give away
Shah Waliullah award to All India Muslim Personal Law Board besides that under junior category
awards will be given to two researchers Mohammad Kitayadullah and Nanjam al Shahir.
Extremist Muslim leaders are running a campaign to glorify this jihadi. Last month, National Urdu
Promotion Council, a government organization, organized a seminar. Urdu department of Delhi
University and Jawahar Lal Nehru University organized couple of seminars. But strange thing is that

this radical Islamic scholar was termed as secularist. This is the same person who had invited Ahmad
Shah Abdali from Afghanistan to attack India to end the influence of Kafir in India. Abdali killed lakhs
of Indians in the Battle of Panipat and looted Delhi. Even temples of Mathura and Vrindavan were not
spared. It is also said that this Islamic scholar Shah Waliullah Khan instigated Abdali to attack
Mathura, Vrindavan and Kurukshetra. In this attack Abdali killed thousands of Hindu and destroyed
hundreds of temples.
Secretary of Shah Waliullah Committee Prof Istaq Danish said that his organization IOS is giving
away Shah Waliullah Award since 1999. This award includes Rs 1 lakh in cash, one memento and a
shawl.

Sahafat on April 5, 2015 published a report with the headline – Dangerous campaign against Jamiat
Ulama and Jamate Islami by the RSS. According to the newspaper, campaign against Muslim
organizations was intensified by the RSS after the formation of the Modi government. Hindu
community is being misled by publications of RSS and its affiliate organizations to campaign against
Jamit Ulama and Jamate Islami. The RSS and its affiliate organizations are taking up issues like Ghar
Wapsi, Love Jihad and population control for Muslims. Jamate Islami is especially under attack. The
newspaper published three pictures of cover of three books with the news report. One of them had the
headline – Danger of Minoritism. The other had the headline Challenges of Islamic rule and title of the
third book was – Islamic Political Thought and Aspirations. One of the book – Danger of Minoritism by
Muzaffar Hussain claims the work being done in the name of minoritism is to destroy the nation while
K D Paliwal referring verses of Quran in his book India another challenge to Islamic rule wrote that as
per instructions from prophet Muslims must marry such women who loves you and could give as
many children as possible so Islamic rule can be established while the book by Purushottam Islamic
Political Thought and Aspiration tells that only Islam is responsible for partition and other problems in
the country. The two big Muslims organization Jamate Islam and Jamiat Ulama wants to make India an
Islamic Nation. In this book Mahatma Gandhi, Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru and other secular leaders have
been fiercely criticized saying that they were not aware of the intention of Islam. Purushottam also said
that Maulana Abbu Ali was more honest than Maulana Hasan Madni who clearly said that Islam and
patriot cannot coexist. He also said Muslims would make Pakistan, Hindus can make their own nation.
The newspaper reported that such talks are making confusion among Muslims. Member of Jamate
Islami executive committee Dr Syed Qasim Iliyas said that organizations like Sangh Pariwar under a
planned conspiracy campaigning against Muslim organizations. This propaganda is being done so
that literate Hindus get influenced by it and start doubting Muslims. The RSS refused to accept
Muslims as minorities in its Nagpur conclave.

Fierce attack on 'Saamana' of Shiv Sena
Inquilab on April 16, 2015, criticized by saying that the demand made by Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut
was the complete violation of Constitution. Therefore he must be arrested immediately. The

Commission had not taken any action on the matter. Sanjay Raut is an MP and he must have taken oath
to allegiance of Indian constitution but he is disrespecting the constitution. The same newspaper
attributed All India Muslim Personal Law Board spokesperson Abdur Raheem Qureshi's demand
from the PM to make his view clear on the issue of Shiv Sena. Both the parties are partners at the Centre
and in the state both therefore they cannot disown this statement. If the government thinks that this
demand was anti-Constitutional then why the guilty was not punished? Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid
termed Shiv Sena as the biggest anti-Muslim organization. He alleged that Shiv Sena always
frightened Muslims. Statement of Shiv Sena is going to drive the country towars another partition. All
India United Democratic Front president Maulana Badruddin Azmal said that people with such
demands were enemies of Unity and peace of the country. Constitution has given every citizen to
exercise his/her voting right and anyone demanding withdrawal of it was violation of the
Constitution. The place for such people is in jail as they are enemies of the nation. An IPS officer of Uttar
Pradesh cadre Amitabh Thakur complained in the court demanding that cases must be filed against
Sanjay Raut and Akbarudding Owaisi. Such statements are against unity and integrity of the nation.
Union minority affairs minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that demanding withdrawal of voting
right from Muslims was an irresponsible statement and this would spoil environment of the
country.
According to Azizulhind (April 14, 2015), imam of Fatehpuri mosque Dr Mohammad Mukarram
demanded filing case against Shiv Sena while secretary of Jamiat Ulama e Hind Maulana Abdul
Hamid Naumani called Shiv Sena a fascist organization. He demanded Election Commission to cancel
its recognition as a political party. The newspaper published nine reports in this regard in which arrest
of Sanjay Raut was also demanded.
Roznama Rashtriya Sahara on April 13, 2015 criticized the demand of banning Muslims from voting in
its editorial and alleged that Shiv Sena leaders by making such statements are actually harming
development initiative of PM Narendra Modi. If the PM really believes in principal of 'Sabka Saath aur
Sabka Vikas', he must have to rein in such elements so the environment of the country is not tense and
sense of security increases among Muslims. If such demands are not stopped unity of the country
would be in danger.
Azizulhind on April 13, 2015 wrote in its editorial that ever since the Narendra Modi government
came to power extremists have started a campaign against Muslims. Now, demand is being made to
get rid Muslims of their voting rights while one of the leaders of Hindu Mahasabha suggested forced
family planning for growing Muslim and Christian population. The RSS is using the Central

Inquilab on April 13, 2015 attributed Congress spokesperson Meem Afzal saying that if the Modi
government has the courage, it should bring law barring 20 crore Muslims from voting right.
Urdu Times on April 13, 2015 published special editorial in which it alleged that leaders of Shiv Sena
lost their mental balance. They don't know what they are saying. In the same issue statement of
Gurudas Kamat was published very prominently in which legal action against Sanjay Raut and Shiv
Sena has been demanded. In another editorial, the newspaper said that the RSS has been demanding
from very long that Muslims must be withdrawn voting rights. Now Shiv Sena is following the path of
the RSS. It appears that they are so afraid of strength of Muslims that they want to snatch Muslims their
voting right. The newspaper warned that if Muslims have been separated from the democratic process,
the country would not progress. They must understand be it the BJP, be it Shiv Sena or the Congress,
this country is not their ancestral property. At present the NDA is in power but this situation is not
going to remain forever. People were fed up of the Congress and they were waiting for the elections to
come to dump them in dustbin.
Urdu Times published five news reports in which it was said that this country was not ancestral
property of the RSS and the BJP so they could snatch voting right of Muslims. Muslims know how to
get their right.
Dawat on April 19, 2015 wrote special editorial saying that Bal Thackerey was the first person to
demand stripping Muslims voting right. He was criticized for that. After 15 years of the incidence,
Sanjay Raut has repeated it again by saying that Muslims are used as vote banks and that is causing
problem. So this practice has stopped their development. Editorial of Saamana especially targeted
leaders of AIMIM and its leaders. The influence of this new organistion is increasing in the Muslim
localities. To have a check on them Shiv Sena is instigating Hindus against Muslims. One thing that one
can remember is the statement of Atal Bihari Vajpayee who had said that Muslims are necessity of this
country. Had they not been there, how Hindus would be united. We would have to call Muslims from
outside. The editorial of Saamana said that when political parties like AIMIM start its vicious campaign
then Hindus vote against their poisonous campaign. When leaders like Mulayam Singh and Lalu
Prasad persuade Muslim votes, pro-Hindu parties cannot hide their happiness. They become happy
when Imam of Jama Masjid and Azam Khan of Uttar Pradesh indirectly indulged in sycophancy.
However, there was nothing like that in the editorial of Saamana on which serious comment could have
been made. Had there been any serious programme for the welfare of country and countrymen, they
would have presented it in all seriousness. However, Muslims themselves are responsible for the fear
among Muslim population.
Weekly Nai Dunia on April 20, 2015 issue warned that if voting right of minorities was withdrawn,
danger is not for Muslims but for Hindustan. According to its editor Shahid Siddiqui, this is the
thinking of Hitlar. People demanding such thing want to make 21 crore Muslims economic, social and
political slave. They know that their biggest strength after partition was their votes. It is due to their

votes every political party had to bow before Muslims. India is a secular nation because Muslims have
voting right. The moment Muslims are bereft of voting right, democracy in the country would end and
dictatorship would take place. India would go to the path of destruction like Pakistan.
According to Urdu Times (April 14, 2015), former minister of Maharashtra Arif Naseem Khan
demanded that Rajya Sabha membership of Sanjay Raut must be terminated and he must be arrested
immediately to run case against him. He claimed that Muslims were citizens of the country and no one
would be able withdraw their voting right.
Urdu Times on April 17, 2015 editorial wrote that people must answer the question that why Muslim
don't come out to vote in big way who were causing ruckus on Shiv Sena's statement of
withdrawing of voting right to Muslims. The result is that non-Muslims won from Muslim-dominated
area. As long as Muslims are not properly utilizing their voting rights, no one would pay attention to
them. Muslims would have to understand power of their votes. If Muslims remain indifferent towards
elections, no one can save them from destruction. If 80 per cent turnout is taking place in Muslimmajority areas, political parties come to their feet. Muslims at present are like football kicked from one
post to other.
Dawat wrote in its editorial on April 22, 2015 emphasizing on the demand raised by Shiv Sena over the
withdrawal of voting rights to Muslims. Since everyone needs votes of Muslims so they need such
candidates that can get votes of Muslims. As far as vote bank politics is concerned, everyone is doing it.
If the government tries to do anything, it is alleged to be appeasing the community. Minorities are
getting more and more backward and their number is decreasing. There is no doubt about it that after
independence they have been politically exploited making them more backward. Political parties like
Shiv Sena neither want to do anything for Muslims nor want to allow others to do anything for them.
Though label of vote bank is on Muslims but none of the politicians or community is free from it. They
talk about secularism and talk about taking everyone along but in reality they do vote bank politics. If
Muslim politics is vote bank politics then what Hindutva, Dalit, caste, communal, regionalism is?
Recently politicians were attracted towards Dalits on anniversary of Bhim Rao Ambedkar and several
programmes were organized across the country. But when Congress leaders talked about the same
thing they are criticized. Shiv Sena is already doing Maratha politics and if someone does Muslim
politics what is the mistake of Muslims that necessitates withdrawal of their voting rights.

Controversy over appointment of non-Urdu
speaking people in Urdu University

such teachers who don't even know Urdu however it is necessary for any appointment in this

university that the person must know Urdu. The newspaper alleged that 200 such appointments have
already been made who don't know Urdu. This irregularity is continuing from 2006. The incumbent
vice chancellor has broken all records of appointing non-Urdu speaking people. The university was
constituted for promotion of Urdu language does not have provisions for regular teaching. Education
of Urdu language is confined to correspondence only. Tanjeem Jaddojahad Urdu (Urdu Struggle
Organisation) chief M A Ansari told reporters that he informed anti-Urdu activities in the institution to
President Pranab Mukherjee, chancellor Zafar Sareshwala and Union HRD minister Smriti Irani. He
sent a memorandum as well. He alleged that the Central government must set up a high level inquiry
committee to look into these irregularities. There must be special provisions for Urdu education in the
university premises.
According to Munsif (April 21, 2015), there has been a scam to the tune of Rs 85 lakh however the
university administration is saying it just Rs 17 lakh. The newspaper demanded that this scam must be
investigated.
Siyasat on April 1, 2015 alleged that local people have been neglected for the appointment of teaching
and non-teaching staff. According to the newspaper, there is total 364 teaching staff in the university
while the number of Telengana and Andhra people is 142 while 70 from Uttar Pradesh, 59 from Bihar,
20 from Karnataka and 24 from Delhi. The newspaper complained that all the vice chancellor of
Maulana Azad Urdu University had been from north India. As far as non-teaching staff is concerned,
there are total 361 people and out of that 164 are from Telengana.

appealed Muslims that they must read Urdu along with other Indian languages. Head of every Muslim

necessary to know Urdu to understand Quran, Hadith and Fakka. The community was going away
from the faith because Urdu was not known to the community therefore Urdu and religious education
must be given to every Muslim. And several evil are coming to Muslim society therefore every Muslim
must get Urdu and religious education. Maulana Ismail Hussein said that conspiracy was hatched
across the world against Islam and Muslims and to foil that it was necessary for every Muslim to get
Urdu education.

Order to rebuilt temple in Pakistan
Sahafat (April 18, 2015), Pakistan Supreme Court instructed Khaibar Pakhtunva state government to
rebuild a temple in the Karak district. This is to recall that this temple was destroyed by Islamic element
and its land was illegally occupied. Chief of Pakistani Hindu Council Dr Ramesh Kumar complained
in the Supreme Court by filing a petition that Hindu temples are demolished in Pakistan. Recently a
temple and mausoleum of Mahatma Paramhans in Tehri village of Karak district was demolished by
the local people and occupied by them. Ramesh Kumar expressed concern over the demolition spree of
the religious places of Hindus in Pakistan. This is causing sense of insecurity among Hindus in the
country. Taking cognizance on the matter, the chief justice of Pakistan Supreme court Nasir ul Haq
Malik instructed the Pakistan government to stop illegal occupation on Hindu temples and the temple
that were demolished must be rebuilt and handed over to the local Hindus.
According to Roznama Rashtriya Sahara (April 21, 2015), this temple was demolished in 1979 by
Islami jihadies and they were not allowing to rebuilt temple there. Convener of Pakistani Hindu Forum
Ramesh Kumar Bankwani alleged that spree of demolishing Hindu temple is continuing. He said that
chief secretary of the state, police chief and local commissioner informed that the temple named after
the person had already converted to Islam therefore temple cannot be built. He said that Paramhans ji
mahraj died in 1919 and temple was built there. But in 1997 this temple was demolished and it was
occupied by the land mafia with the support of politicians. But when Hindus tried to build temple
there, they were not allowed. Hindu leaders requested that the land must be handed over to them so
they can build temple there. Politicians behind it asked for Rs 3.75 lakh for the land which Hindus
collected and paid to the leader still land was not handed over to Hindus. Hopeless Hindus found
taking the SC's help as the last resort.

Syria and Lebanon. Iran is supporting enemies of Muslims. Hajab Islami was established with the help
of the US and Saudi Arabia. Informed sources said that since Pakistan refused to send its forces to
Yemen therefore Hekmatyar is sending his fighters from the backdoor.

Jahid ruled that banning Hijab or burkha is against Islam and such demand is against the freedom and
honour of Muslim women. Secretary of the organization Dr Abbas Soman said that veil was
compulsory for Muslims and was as per Islam. No Muslim could oppose it and if any Muslim opposes
it he/she must be thrown out of Islam. Opposing Hijab and Burkha makes a man guilty of faith and
disobeying instructions of God. Hijab for Muslim women is not a social institution rather as per
principals of Islam and following that is Sharia duty of every Muslim woman. Liberals in Egypt were
demanded freedom from Burkha to Muslim women. They also announced to organize a big
demonstration is support of this demand.
Tallest woman leader of Egypt Dr Amna Nasir said that as per Sharia a girl after attaining puberty veil
is necessary. Hajrat Mohammad Saheb instructed Usma bin Abu Bakar that when menstruation cycle
starts, hands and cheeks of a girl must not remain open. Therefore no Muslim should thing of
disobeying instruction Hajrat Mohammad Saheb.

20 years in jail for dethroned Egyptian President

dethroned President of Egypt Mohammad Morsy. This sentencing to him was for the people killed
during 2012 demonstration. This is to recall that Mohammad Morsy was elected president of Egypt
four years ago with the help of Muslim Brotherhood. After his election, protest across the country
started in which several people killed. So the army dethroned him and Army chief Abdul al Fateh al

Mosque raided to look for a killer
Azizulhind on April 17, 2015 reported that the police raided a mosque in London called Masjid al Noor
in the matter of the murder of Syrian Muslim leader Sheikh Abdul Hadi al Arvani. This is to recall that
Al Arvani was Imam of this mosque between 2011 to 2015 but later on he broke his relationship from
this mosque. This Muslim leader was the critique of the Syrian government. So it is suspected that he
was killed by agent of the Syrian government. The police arrested one person in this regard. Son of the
deceased said that there were hands of managers of mosques in his killing. This was the second raid on
any mosque in Britain after 2003. The London police raided a mosque in 2003 to look for Al Qaida
leader Abdul Hamja al Misri and arrested him from there. As far as Sheikh al Arvani was concerned he
fled from Syria to save his life.

countries were participating in jihad in Syria. This data was made available to reporters by Justice
Commissioner Warju Reva. He said that over 6000 people from Europe have gone to Syria for ISIS-led
jihad. He said that the number could be more. He accepted that initially no attention was paid on
people going to Syria so it was difficult to tell the exact number.

chief Mohammad Badia and his 13 other associates. Out of total 14 people who have been sentenced to
death 12 are in police custody while two escaped from Egypt. Besides that one American citizen of
Egyptian origin Mohammad Sultan was given death sentence for participating in demonstrations of
Muslim Brotherhood and 37 other have been given death sentence. This court decision can be
challenged in the higher court. In another case Mohammad Badia was sentenced to death that was later
on changed to life imprisonment by the higher court. After the first President of Muslim Brotherhood
Mohammad Morsy was dethroned hundreds of Islam supports were sentenced to death. At present
Army is ruling the nation.

Preparations for converting a Church into a mosque
Once again there is radical Islamic rule in Turkey. Founder of modern Turkey who had converted
Masjid Sofia into a museum is now once again being converted to mosque. This mosque was a church
around 1500 years ago. When Usmani king Mohammad I captured Turkey he converted this ancient
church into a mosque forcefully. Minarets were built at the four corners of the church. He also issued an
order that no one in Turkey would be allowed to ring the bell to inform Christians to gather for prayer.
In 1930 this was converted into a museum and everyone was allowed to visit this place.

Samajwadi Party attracted towards Hindu votes
Sahafat on April 7, 2014 reported that Waqf Board minister of Uttar Pradesh government laid a
foundation stone of cow shelter and Yatri Niwas in Mathura. These two buildings would be built in an
area of 70 acres. Rajya Sabha Member Choudhary Munavvar Salim was also present on the occasion.
Azam Khan alleged on this occasion that on one hand the BJP was showing love for cow on the other
hand it was encouraging export of cow meat. He said that cow meat is served in the five star hotels. He
termed land acquisition bill as anti-farmer bill.
Shankaracharya of Jagannath Puri Swami Adghoshnanand said criticizing the Modi government that
Modi was indulged in political hypocrisy in the name of love for cow. People ruling the country did not
participate in freedom struggle. Salim alleged that the Centre government did not have any faith in
cow they are doing this just to get votes. He announced to give Rs 25 lakh for the cow shelter while wife
of Azam Khan gave Rs 25 lakh for the construction of Yatri Nivas.

Orphanage land gifted to Ambani
Urdu Times on April 17, 2015 published a report attributing A T G Sheikh report that was set up for the
scam in waqf board tabled by Eknath Khadse in Maharashtra Assembly. According to this report, a
land of Muslim orphanage in Malabar Hill area has been sold to Ambani for Rs 21.05 crore. The worth
of this 48 thousand sq feet land was around Rs 5000 crore. Similarly land belonging to Dargah Hajrat
Ali Sikandar Wali of Bijapur was given for pittance on lease for 51 years. The minister said that around
113 scams have been unearthed in this report and recommendation of this report would be
implemented honestly. He also said that leaders and higher officials responsible for it would be
punished so no one could dare to capture Waqf Land.

Rs 10 crore compensation demanded from the
government
Inquilab on April 22, 2015 reported that lawyer of Anjuman Haidri Mahmood Parcha filed a case in
Delhi High Court demanding Rs 10 crore compensation from the government. Petitioner said that
when he was visiting Iraq with some other leaders, he was stopped at the airport. According to
petitioner, when he was going to Iraq on November 24, 2014 with a delegation of Anjuman Haidri, he
was stopped at the airport from going to Iraq. Later on he was released by the police and no case was
registered against him. He said that he wanted to go there to get Indians released from captivity of ISIS.
Delhi High Court asked if there was any look out circular issued by the Central government and if it
was issued did it still exist? Mahmood Paracha said that intelligence gang is illegal and its every
activity is against constitution. Therefore this department must be dismantled or its legal position must
be clarified.

Radical Muslims and secularists are having sleepless nights over the growing influence of the BJP.
They have started emphasizing that if the influence of the BJP is to be stopped, Muslims must have to
join hands with secular forces and Dalits.
Mumbai-based Urdu Times on April 19, 2015 complained that anti-Muslim policies have been
adopted after Narendra Modi came to power like ending reservation to Muslims and banning cow
slaughter that is harming Muslims immensely. Now attempts are being made to stop admission of
Muslims in educational institutions. Demand is being raised for forced family planning of Muslims but
Muslim community is keeping silent. Muslim leaders have the only job to shout at the streets, meet
ministers and get their pictures clicked to get them published in newspapers. Election results clearly
tell that there is no credible leadership among Muslims. Division of secular votes resulted into the
victory of Sangh Pariwar. Recently in Bandra by-elections both the Congress and AIIMM lost and Shiv
Sena won. Need of the hour is that Muslim must join hands with secular forces and Dalits to form a
Sanyukt Morcha. This Morcha must include Dalits, Christians and other minorities only then Muslims
could be stopped.

A Muslim girl may marry after attaining
15 years of age
According to Roznama Rashtriya Sahara (April 9, 2015), Gujarat High Court in its ruling said that
Muslim girls could marry as per their wish after the age of 15. With this the court quashed a case of
youth kidnapping a 15 year old Muslim girl. This is to recall that a 16-year-old girl of Badodra
married a boy of her own choice but the father of girl filed a case of kidnapping. Gujarat High Court
ruled that as per Muslim Personal Law Muslim girl is considered major at the age of 15 and when the
girl ran away with one Nisar Alam she was 16 years and 4 months old. The girl accepted in the court
that she ran away with the boy with her own wish and married her. She is happy in her husband's
house.
