Bilkent Holding
The accomplishments of Bilkent as a brand are a direct result of the pursuit
of excellence - maintained from day one.
Bilkent Holding’s foundations were laid with Dilek İnşaat (Dilek Construction),
established by İhsan Doğramacı in 1968, to operate in the construction
industry. This was followed by the establishment of Tepe Ağaç Metal ve
Makina Sanayi (Tepe Wood Metal and Machinery Industry Co.) and Meteksan
in 1969. Companies were gathered under the Bilkent Holding umbrella during
the restructuring process undertaken in 1986.
Since its establishment, Bilkent Holding and its subsidiaries have adopted
it as the primary objective the creation of steady, continuous and long-term
resources jointly with partners and other stakeholders. In accordance with
this principle, Bilkent Holding’s priority has been to achieve quality, customer
satisfaction and profitability in all sectors in which it operates.
Extensively expanding the scope of its business in less than 50 years, the
Holding operates in the construction, furniture-retail, printing and paper, real
estate and services industries as it maintains a major presence in the airport
operation industry via its subsidiary companies. The Holding leverages the
domestic experience gained in these sectors to expand overseas, with
operations in the Middle East, North Africa, the Turkic Republics, Eastern
Europe and Russia.
Successfully expanding areas of business along with its geographical reach,
Bilkent Holding was ranked among Turkey’s 50 largest and fastest growing
conglomerates according to the statistics published by reliable and reputable
sources. The Holding’s companies have maintained the leading positions
they achieved in their respective sectors.
Tepe İnşaat (Tepe Construction), Bilkent Holding’s flagship company in
the construction industry, develops projects in diverse segments of the
construction sector with projects in Turkey as well as abroad. It continues to
introduce innovations to the sector without deviating from its commitment to
quality.
Bilkent Holding carried the trust and brand image that it created with the
Tepe brand to the furniture and retail industries as well. Both Tepe Mobilya
(Tepe Furniture), which produces custom designs tailored for its customers’
demands in order to create high-level customer satisfaction. Tepe Home,
primarily responsible for the marketing and sales operations of Tepe Mobilya
products and that brought the megastore furniture retailing concept to Turkey,
maintain their leadership in their respective sectors.
Meteksan Matbaa (Meteksan Printing), operating in the printing-paper sector,
has established itself as a brand in this industry thanks to a production
capacity of nearly 100,000 tons and its product diversity.
Tepe Emlak (Tepe Real Estate) has undertaken seven shopping center projects
in Turkey and assumed the operation of the Ankara Bilkent Center as well as
the Istanbul Tepe Nautilus shopping mall. It continues to create spaces that
make the lives of individuals easier thanks to the experience it has gained
since the shopping center sector first gained momentum.
Another important company within Bilkent Holding is Tepe Savunma (Tepe
Defense), which provides defense and security services to Turkey’s leading
companies.

Bilintur, involved with hotel administration and catering where high quality
and service excellence in the services industry are a deciding factor, is also

Tepe Betopan is Turkey’s largest cement board manufacturer as well as the
third largest cement-bonded particleboard producer in the world; it exports
exterior siding products around the globe.
In accordance with the Holding’s corporate values and principles, Bilkent

Introduction
Tepe Prefabrik İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Tepe Prefabrik), is
one of Turkey’s first prefabricated building manufacturers, the
Company has a high brand value thanks to its quality. Founded
in1977, Tepe Prefabrik operates in the areas of modular panellized
prefabricated buildings, permanent prefabricated buildings,
living containers and steel frame buildings. Tepe Prefabrik has
a high brand recognition and value thanks to its reliability and
quality. The Company is one of the oldest and best-known
companies in its sector both in Turkey and in the surrounding

Aiming to become a leading global brand in its sector by
manufacturing economical, fast and easy to install prefabricated
buildings that comply with international engineering standards
and technical specifications while preserving natural resources
in all of its processes.
Tepe Prefabrik undertook many groundbreaking project in Turkey
and abroad such as the Movenpick Hotel in Cairo which was the
first hotel to be constructed with betopan (cement board) and
low cost light steel structure with up to 12 meters wide and five
meters tall.
Having successfully completed projects in many different regions
of the world including East Timor, Siberia, Haiti, Afghanistan,
Germany and Turkmenistan; Tepe Prefabrik possesses the
experience, know-how and competence to work with companies
at various standards in many countries.

Permanent Buildings
Permanent Buildings are produced with the purpose of achieving
a useful life close to that of conventional (reinforced concrete)
buildings within short time.
Moreover, permanent buildings have more developed prestige
effects and esthetic properties. Structural system is designed for
and produced with steel, and the building materials in its inner
wall covers and facade cladding allow using of many different
materials depending upon developments in their technologies.
Insulation values can be achieved using materials at desired
insulation values depending on the place where the building
will be located and according to climatic conditions. All sorts of
galvanized an painted steel sheet can be used as well as shingle
type aesthetic roofing elements can be used on the building
roof.

Containers
Containers are designed and produced for all climatic conditions. They are
preferred for work sites for their easy transportation and portability. These
structures may be dispatched in disassembled (Flat Packed) or assembled
forms. Because the living containers designed by Tepe Prefabrik are produced
in “modular” form with bolts and nuts, places of elements like doors and
windows may be changed according to their usage.

Pre - Engineered Steel Construction Buildings are designed for large space
needs. These structures may be easily dispatched to any part of the world.
Prepared according to “design, structural, static and engineering calculations,
and electricity installations and other desired reinforcements” based on the
place and purpose of usage, plans of these structures are basically formed of
steel carrier system and facade and roof cladding elements.
It is very important to accurately calculate the loads that will affect the
structure at the place of use, and to correctly analyze the carrier system.
Pre - Engineered Steel construction Buildings are used in useful heights of
over 3-3,5 meters and in large spaces.
