Background & Experience Following a tour of active service with the U. S. Naval Air Force involving Naval Intelligence, Al Scalise entered the real estate brokerage trade in 1960. In 1962 he joined Latter & Blum’s Commercial Sales Division. In 1985 he formed Bienville & Associates, which quickly became a leading Louisiana Real Estate Brokerage Operation which he later sold. Scalise enjoys 50 years in a full-time capacity of commercial real estate and business brokerage and has to his credit over three hundred million dollars of sales and leasing activity. The Executive Towers in Metairie, LA for $10.5 million. The Executive Towers, a 200,000 office structure and the Plaza Shopping Center in New Orleans, LA 2000 Kaliste Saloom Road Suite 101 Lafayette, LA 1-337-267-4087 www.latterblum.com for $28.1 million (at that time, the largest transaction by a Louisiana broker). The Plaza Shopping Center was a regional mall.
