Little Havana's popular art and culture festival is a great event for the whole family. Enjoy music and discover works by local artists and artisans in and around our iconic Domino Plaza on SW 8th Street and SW 15th Avenue, and behold contemporary and historic artworks at our many fine art galleries along Calle Ocho. Come dance, eat, shop and enjoy a delightful evening in Little Havana! Artevivo Academy Come enjoy a performance by members of this arts and dance academy for children from 3 to 12 years old. Artevivo will delight us with an array of dances and artistry showcased by these talented children. She was part of the Latin recording of "We Are the World" and has appeared in various TV programs and competed in the program "Minuto de Fama". Singing tracks like "How high the moon", "Cry me a river" with her sultry voice and her passion for jazz she blends a perfect combination to enjoy this up and coming singer. Based in Key West, their repertoire mixes South American modern and traditional folk with classic rock. See the site of a former pineapple farm, the former Shenandoah Presbyterian church (now Hispanic) and the huge role it played in the area's history. Also learn about the original Shenandoah Elementary; the homes of Robert Taylor, county solicitor in the 1930s-1940s; home of jewelers, the Richter family; one of post WWII Miami's first shopping centers, the Tamiami shopping center; a former Food Fair Supermarket at Calle Ocho and 19th Ave; and visit Futurama, the former Western Auto store, and see its current artists' studios.
