Ziad Bashir is the Chairman of Arwen Technologies and an Executive
Director of Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited, Chief Executive officer Swisstex
Chemicals (Pvt) Limited , Managing Director of Ideas by Gul Ahmed, Director
Safe Mix Concrete Products (Pvt) Limited.
Ziad is currently a member of ITMF spinners committee APTMA, central
managing committee, ITMF Young Entrepreneurs Group, Board of Governors
of Young Presidents Organization, Pakistan Japan Business Forum, and
Pakistan Italy Business Forum. He is the Chairman of Landhi Association of
Trade & Industry.
Ziad has a BSC from Babson College in Entrepreneurial studies and
marketing. He also attended Babson College of Executive education for
advance studies in strategic planning and retailing.
Anjum Anis Ansari is chief executive officer of Arwen Tech (Pvt) Limited
positions to which he was named in early 2006.
With the goal of establishing Arwen as the Pakistan’s leading information
Technology Company, his focus is on establishing long-term growth strategy,
operating efficiency, building a winning team as well as its financial
performance and becoming customer centric.
The result has been increasing growth and profitability, greater value for

Prior to joining Arwen Tech, Anjum has a more than 27 years of experience
at Pakistan Service Limited, Engro Chemical Private Limited, Jaffer Brothers
and Pepsi franchises, where he held a variety of management, operations,
and sales and marketing leadership roles.
He earned his MBA degree from Institute of Business Administration,
University of Karachi
Syed Iqbal Shahzad joined the technology management team of Arwen
Tech in Oct 2006. As the Chief Technology Officer his focus is to work with all
business units/ service lines for an integrated solution to Arwen’s customers.
Iqbal is the first person (being the Director IT of Gulahmed Group) to
introduce & deploy IP Telephony in Pakistan.
Iqbal brings with him 15 years of experience in areas such as Technology
Architecture & Integration, Global IT Delivery & Project Management, Budget
& Cost Control, ERP, CMMS & CRM Implementation etc.
He also possesses technical expertise in IBM AS/400, Windows OS, Cisco,
SAN Citrix,
Fiber, Wireless, Optical
based Network, Lotus Domino,
Exchange, SQL, VPN, TCP/IP, Oracle, DataStream, ACCPAC, e-business,
ERP, SCM, CRM, EDI, RFID, IP telephony designs, software development, and

Muniba Farid joined the management team of Arwen Tech in May 2006. As
the General Manager Projects her focus is to work with the service lines for
customer driven project execution strategy. Her role encompasses enabling
of integrative & standard practices, methods, systems. She is responsible for
implementing tools for planning, scheduling, monitoring & controlling
projects. As part of the management team she also contributes to key
business development initiatives.
She brings with her more than 8 years of experience of project management,
business development, change management, training and implementation of
systems and solutions.
She has worked in Middle East for SAP implementation partner CIC as a
Senior Consultant and has been associated in the execution of mega scale
projects internationally. Muniba has also worked for Siemens where she has
worked with multinationals, private and public sector clients in various
industries including, but not limited to oil & gas, chemicals, financials,
manufacturing and engineering.
Muniba is an ACCA, and holds a master’s degree in business administration
from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi.
Abdul Qadir Sobhani in the capacity of General Manager Sales manages
business part of Technology Division (countrywide). He is been with Arwen
Tech since the inception and has over 13 years of experience in the high-tech
IT industry. He has his MBA from School of Business & Commerce Karachi,
Pakistan in marketing. Also he possesses Cisco CSE certification. He has
extensive experience in selling Total IT solutions based on technologies by
Cisco and other complimenting products like CA, Citrix, RSA, Systimax, and
plays an instrumental role in guiding our projects. Qadir has been a part of
project team as the person maintaining the business contact with the

Faisal Ahad Rao is our General Manager Business Development managing

processes, performance management, direct dealing with the Principals and
Suppliers, business development, and formulating successful marketing

Novette Briganza Kanaria manages Arwentech’s HR function. Ms Kanaria is
a seasoned professional who has rendered her valuable services to many
corporate sector organizations like Sea-land Shipping Agencies Pakistan,
Unilever Pakistan and most recently System Innovations. During her tenure
at above organizations, Ms Kanaria not only developed HR strategies but also
implemented them in collaboration with line managers and business unit
heads. She is also responsible for recruitment, training & development,
compensation and routine HR operations.
She has 7 years of experience in HR and is well versed not only with existing
HR best practices but also upcoming trends. She is a dynamic individual who,
we believe, can contribute a lot to our organization by leveraging on her
knowledge and experience in her field.
Ahsan Ullah Khan, holds more than 10 years of experience in IT field
having extensive knowledge of Project Management, networking
technologies, Information Networks, Network Operations, Consultation and
Customer Services Support.
His association with Arwen Tech is about 2 years old, where he leads the
Voice & Service Provider solution area. Ahsan is the first CCIE Voice (written)
in Pakistan with strong organizational, problem solving and project

over 19 years’ of diversified experience in various areas of consulting with

major multinational companies in Pakistan and abroad. She has extensive
experience relating to project management, change management, training,
analysis, designing, implementation and quality testing of various ERP
applications and systems around it. She is experienced in working with all
levels of an organization and in delivering solutions that meet business
needs. She has been involved in many Systems Audit of Banking and NonBanking Financial Institutions as well as some large Multinational
Manufacturing organizations.
Ms. Yasmeen possesses exceptional analytical skills and is an accomplished
communicator with effective motivational and leadership skills. She holds a
Master’s in Computer science and has attended numerous ERP related
training programs overseas and in Pakistan
Emad Mirza Rizki is Senior Manager Marketing appointed to head the
Marketing & Sales of Consulting Division nationwide. Emad previously worked
in establishing ORACLE VAD for Technology business successfully made 30
resellers across Pakistan. Emad has a passion for Software and Technology
being in the industry for more than 14 years. Continuously worked to deliver
quality in business development and process improvement, experience
reflects in horizontals and verticals of the market.
He earned Bachelors in Business Administration from London UK, Attended
Marketing course from LUMS Lahore, and Dale Carnegie course in Public
Speaking from London UK.
Shams Ladak Senior Manager Plant Maintenance at Arwen Tech graduated
as a Marine engineer, and has hands on engineering experience of over 18
years. He started the consultancy of Maintenance Management Systems in
1999 when most of the Pakistani industry was unaware of a CMMS system,
and the engineering users were hesitant in the use of computers. Shams has
implemented projects like Unilever, Procter and Gamble, Tapal Energy to
name a few; and has worked with products like Datastream D7, MP2 and
Maximo.
M. Saeed Farooqui, Joined Arwen Tech as Branch Manager Islamabad, Prior
to joining Arwen Tech, He has over fifteen years of sales experience in
Pakistan’s Information Technology Cooperate market with top I.T
Companies; he has exceeded targets consistently in challenging competitive
scenarios. He has the ability to align technology solutions to a customer’s
business issue. He has demonstrated the ability to make accounts captive
and build pipelines in chosen technologies. He has the ability to lead and
motivate teams to cross functionally deliver sales and revenue numbers. He
is a subject matter expert in selling to Enterprise, Public Sector, and
Manufacturing and Telecom verticals and has deep pervasive relationships
within all key accounts in these market segments.
He is done his Bachelor in Commerce from Punjab University and MBA in
Marketing from Preston University.
Farough Baig, working as Manager Presales at Arwen Tech, specializes in
networking technologies and Cisco Products. He is a qualified engineer from
NED University and carries multiple years of experience of designing,
installing and configuring networks.
Farough has over 6 years of experience in working at system integrator
environment and has been a part of successful project implementations at,
ABL, American Express Bank, ABN Amro Bank, Gul Ahmed, Instaphone,
Mobilink, State Bank of Pakistan and SSGCL.
Hassan Farooq Khan – is leading the Regional account management team
of Technology Division, Karachi. . His primary focus is to look after account
management team and business development. He has been with Arwen Tech
for last three (3) years. He is a senior resource at Arwentech with over nine
(9) years of experience in the IT industry especially in the fields of IP
communications. He has done his BE from NED University, he also possesses
sales certifications from Cisco. CA and Microsoft. He is experienced in selling

Iftikhar Zubair- is the Engineering Manager for the Building Management
Solutions of Arwen Tech in Pakistan. He has a B.S. Electrical Engineering
degree and an M.Sc. in Systems Design from Germany. He is very well
versed in the international standards of BMS and software integration and
has more than 12 years of experience. Prior to joining Arwentech, he has
worked in Engineering and Project Management roles with Honeywell in the
UAE and in Germany, in the Building Controls division there. He has also lead
an R&D team involved in embedded software networking solutions. Iftikhar
has very sound practical experience that builds on his strong educational
background and in-depth technical lunderstanding.
Hasham Qayyum- is the Product Manager of “Building Management
Solution” (BMS) at Arwen Tech throughout Pakistan. He is talented and
accomplished Engineering professional backed by bachelor degrees in
“Electrical Engineering” from well reputed institutes “University of
Engineering & Technology” and doing MBA Marketing having 7+ years of
marketing & sales experience in marketing & sales of Industrial products &

4. FAULT TOLERANT AND SUPPORT SERVICE
Arwen Tech has invested heavily in building comprehensive Service desk to
cover business aspects to way beyond the technical requirements.
Our service desk has business and contractual ingredient built in to it. This

organization's Quality Management System ("QMS"). It is part of a family of
standards published by the International Organization for Standardization
("ISO") often referred to collectively as the "ISO 9000 series". The objective

Recently an exercise was conducted in Arwen Tech in which a team of
professionals studied the top management commitment to quality, its
customer focus, adequacy of its resources, employee competence, process

products, calibration of measuring equipment, processes to resolve customer
