Chambered in .308 Win., the Model 8400
Advanced Tactical™ is the very definition of
tactical precision. It features a trued bolt face,
hand-finished chamber, lapped lugs and custom
glass bedding. Essentially a full-custom tactical
rifle, both performance and dependability bear
up to any standard. Built on the Model 8400™
action, a full-length Mauser claw extractor
controls each cartridge from feeding to ejection,
preventing the jams common to push-feed
actions. The match grade bull barrel has a handcut match grade chamber for extreme accuracy,
along with a deep muzzle crown to protect rifling
in harsh conditions and during rough transport.
The adjustable McMillan stock offers unequaled
quality and function, including a swivel stud and
four swivel cups for a variety of attachment and
carry options. The barreled action is finished in
black KimPro II,™ a premium finish that is nonreflective, self-lubricating and extremely resistant
to the elements. Features such as extended bolt
handle with enlarged knob, 3-position wing
safety and match grade trigger contribute to
both accuracy and operational dependability.
The 24-inch barrel ensures optimum velocity,
extending both point-black and effective range.
