History • Started in 1999 • Formerly a joint venture with ATCO Frontec Ltd. • 100% owned by the Tlicho as of June 30, 2005 from building capacity to becoming completely self managed • 247 employees as of the end of December 2012 • Experienced management organization • • • • • • • Winter road (construction & operations) Freight handling & passenger transport Airport operations Water & waste plant operations Site waste management Fuel distribution and management Building facilities maintenance – mechanical, electrical and civil • Power plant maintenance and operations • Project work – mechanical, electrical and civil Nature of Business • Hauling products including: • Fertilizer • Diesel fuel, methanol, glycols and oilfield chemicals • Heating fuel • Gasoline • Aviation fuel • Winter road fuel • Calcium chloride • Ammonium nitrate Note: Partnership with Denesoline Corporation =10% ownership Tli Cho Logistics Ventures West • Joint Venture with Landtran Systems Inc. • Connected to the North American Trucking network through Landtran and their subsidiaries (Monarch, Continental, Kingsway) • One of the largest winter road haulers to the diamond mines • Builds and maintains winter roads outside the Tlicho region (Snap Lake Spur) • Provides Air Logistics and Construction Moving a Haul Truck Dump Mine Logistics - Loading a Hercules • Joint venture formed in 1998 between Dogrib Nation Trustco and Air Tindi • Primary provider of light and medium air transportation service to Rio Tinto / Diavik, BHP and DeBeers. • In 2012 Tlicho Investment Corporation purchased a Dash 7 aircraft that is leased back to our operating partner – a long time vision of the Tlicho elders. • Joint venture between Behcho Kö Development Corp and Black Explosives Group that company acquired by Orica Explosives in 2010 • Five year contract to provide emulsion plant and all the explosive requirements to the Snap Lake mine Tli Cho Road Constructors Ltd. • 100% owned by Tli Cho Investment Corp • Amalgamation of winter road equipment and expertise from Tli Cho Landtran and Nishi Khon Freeway • Builds and maintains winter roads within the Tlicho region • During the 2012 Winter Road Season, Tli Cho Road Constructors built a total of 500 kms of Winter Road with 100% Tlicho crew.
