We perform the design work using the latest professional full-3D electromagnetic
modelling software, This enables us to accurately include the influence of the boom, insulators,
baluns, feed point, connections, etc
Our designs are optimised using the Particle Swarm algorithm, which is considered
one of the best global optimization algorithms. We also use the classic Nelder-Mead Simplex
algorithm for fine-tuning. Our optimization runs frequently exceed 1 million evaluations.
We rely on solid physics, not on "clever" tinkering with antenna elements or spacings.
By paying the greatest attention to all of the important details, we are able to consistently
produce top performance designs.

Generic mounting instruction for all 144 MHz antennas:

Dipole with Balun and "N" conn.
Elements.
Dipole holder "Max Air"
Boom.
Galvanized and powder coated antenna mounting bracket
with galvanized V Bolts and self-locking hex nuts.
Boom joins
Assembly instruction:
1. Join the boom. Use self-locking hex nuts M6.
2. Attach elements. Starting with 1, paying special attention on orientation.
Required torque 1.6 Nm.
Please use Torque screwdriver. We propose Wiha TorqueVario®-S Torque screwdriver 2852.
Before tighten the screws apply thread lock like Loctite or Permatex.

3. Attach dipole.
4. Fasten balun with plastic zip tie to balun holder.
5. Screw connector to connector holder
6. Antenna end
7. If needed align elements and screw tightly. Elements must stand in one plane.
8. Assemble and attach antenna mounting bracket. Enclosed are 2 pcs V-Bolts for diameter up to 50 mm and
2 pcs V-Bolts for diameter up to 70 mm.
9 Raise antenna. Elements must facing to the Earth.
10. Measure SWR. It must be less than 1:1.2 on all frequencies. It is sign that you assemble everything well. Best DX.
