Stretch Wrapping Machine
Operators Guide
INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your new Stretch Wrapping system. With our stretch wrapper
you will find that it will become an indispensable part of your shipping system.
Stretch wrapping your pallets will not only provide a professional appearance to
your shipped products and keep your items securely fastened to each other, but
will also provide a protective barrier from the elements and from prying eyes.
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with this manual paying particularly
close attention to the cautions and safeguard listed within.
MACHINE SAFETY
1. Please see figure 1 and note
where the operator must stand
while the Wrapper is in operation.
2. Connect the machine to a
properly ground AC110V outlet.
Fig. 1
3. Make sure the Stretch Wrapper is
installed on firm level ground.
4. Keep all body parts and clothing at a safe distance from all moving parts.
5. Never step on the turntable while it is running.
6. Always center the item to be wrapped the turntable. DO NOT PLACE IT
NEAR THE EDGE.
7. Be sure to turn off power to machine when not in use.
8. Familiarize yourself and all operators where the EMERGENCY STOP is to
be able to immediately stop the machine should an emergency arise.
9. Only allow experienced technicians and electricians perform any
maintenance on this machine.

INSTALLATION & TRANSPORT
1. Upon delivery, the machine is divided into four parts within the shipping
crate. They include the Base Frame
which the Turntable is already
attached to, the ramp, the Upright
post and the Film lifter. Carefully
unpack the crate using a forklift to lift
the major components.
2. Use your forklift to raise the Upright
post out of the crate. Note Fig 2 and
you will see where the lifting points
are located on the base frame to lift
and transport the wrapper.
3. Once you have removed the base
frame assembly out of the crate, you
Fig. 2
are ready to begin assembly.
Position the upright post on the turntable so that the side where
the control panel is on is on the opposite side of the turntable. Remove
the four screws which secure the upright frame to the base, and align the
hinge portion on the upright post to be in line with the hinge portion on the
base frame and slide in the shaft and secure the shaft with the cotter pin.
4. Once the hinge is assembled and the shaft secure, carefully raise the
upright post into its position. Note. Pay close attention you do not
pinch any wires. Adjust the plate under the post and secure it with the
four allen bolts. Connect the two wire connectors that connect the upright
post to the base frame.
5. Attach the film stretcher to the side of the upright post. It will hook on, and
then permanently secure it with the four allen bolts and connect the wire
connector which connects the film holder to the lifter.
6. Once the machine is assembled, you must test for
proper adjustments. First, turn on the power (AC110V)
and the machine will power up into Manual Mode.
Press “5” to energize the turntable, and then stop the
machine and check for drive chain play, this play
should not exceed 6mm. If adjustment is needed,
loosen the four bolts securing the drive motor, and turn
the motor tensioning screw clockwise to tighten the
chain or counter-clockwise to loosen. Once the appropriate
tension is achieved, re-tighten the motor securing bolts and reinstall the chain plate.

STRETCH FILM LOADING
To load film on the model with Pre-Stretch, refer to the figures below. Open the
cover by releasing the latch on the cover and swing the door downward. Load
the film on the film holder and secure it in place, then pull the film through the
open cover and feed the film through the exit rollers as seen in the figure and
close the side cover.
To load film on the non pre-stretch models simply load the film roll as seen on the
figure on the right. To adjust stretching tension, use the tension adjust screw to
increase or decrease tension.

MAINTAINENCE
Regular maintenance will increase the longevity of your Pallet Wrapper, and
increase the machines efficiency. Caution: during any maintenance
procedure, the power must be removed from the machine and proper
safety attire must be worn. During normal operation attention needs to be
placed on screws that may have become loosened during normal operation and
they should be retightened immediately upon noticing. Regular lubrication and
maintaining the machine clean will increase its operational life.
A
B
It is recommended that every three months you lubricate
the lift chains and sprockets “C” with grease. And on a
monthly basis lubricate the slide rails “B” and glide blocks
“A” with a light coating of oil.
C
Every three months lubricate the turntable transmission
chains by removing the transmission cover plate located on
the base frame assembly.
On the pre-stretch unit, open the lower cover of the film
lifter to expose its driving chain and lubricate with suitable
grease on a monthly basis.
On the model without the pre-stretch option, on a monthly
basis, check the wear on the braking belt located underneath the top cover of the
film lifter assembly, and replace when necessary.
If there is an unusual sound or if the rotation of the turntable is not
normal, the contact rollers need to be checked. They should
measure no less than 53mm, and no visible defects should be
found. If so they need to be replaced. To access these rollers,
the 6 screws holding the plate down need to be removed and the
plate lifted from the base.
