Homebred New Champion!!! Fat Coat Retriever CH. Cantilly Wes Abbey
Janet & Bill Richardson
In Pensacola, Gwen shown by Kathryn Harris won a huge open class of 8 both days and also got 2 points on Thursday
in Fort Walton.
At the Agility Trial in Decatur Gwen got her first two Novice Agility Jumpers legs at her first Agility trial and her
mother Glenys started Novice Standard and got two legs and at the MADOC agility, Montgomery she finished her
Novice standard title and moved up to Open standard and got one leg there. Glenys started agility a few years ago
but was very noise sensitive and hated the noise of the teeter so we gave up trying standard courses and just did
jumpers. Then we stopped to have a few litters of puppies and now she is spayed and my goal now for Glenys is to
get her Excellent jumpers leg to give her that title but we are always 5 econds over time.
(pictured left)Trent
who I bred last May and lives with friend Nancy in Texas. Here he
is at 12 months getting his first points. A week later he got his first major. He was
out for three weeks with Linda Williams. Trent is sired by Linda Muglachs Grant and
dam is our girl Glenys.
Ch Tresaiths Aled Minted in Gold, another Grant / Glenys kid, that I finished New
years weekend in Florida and he now lives in Nashville with Carra Cole, a Corgi
breeder. Here she is with him in Montgomery getting a Group 3.
is a Glenys son many of you saw as
a puppy at my house when you came to watch
Eukenuba. His owner,Sandy Terry, is showing
him here for a Group 4 in April. She has also since got his CDX title and is
working on Herding Started. Wiley will be 3 in September.

Honeyfox So Dash N' Debonair
“Dewey” (pictured left and below)
Dewy came to live with us in March
from a friend in Pennsylanvia, so
the Birmingham and Tuscaloosa shows
were his first chance to be shown so we were thrilled when he took the dog
points two of the three days there. I then took him to Perry to the Greater
Atlanta Specialty where he went Winners Dog for his first Major. I look
forward to getting this lovely boy out and also to start him in Agility and
Obedience.
Dewey’s first major when shown at the Greater Atlanta
Specialty in April following three all breed shows where he took
reserve. Dewy has only been shown at 3 shows since then as he
has blown most of his coat so we look forward to more points
later on. He did get points at our show in April two of the three
days and one point Thursday while we were at Hattiesburg.
Dewy is now starting agility training and just graduated from
beginner obedience.
Peggy & Stanley Shafferman
Patty (El Morro's Sweet Paprika) continues to do well; an Award of Merit
in Louisville under Judge William Cunningham (pictured below) and several
BOB's over the last 2 months. Her BOB at the Oconee Show was over a
BIS winner!
Dave & Sharon Rogers
In Franklin Sparkles took WB/BOW for 2 points and received her
1st 2 legs towards her Rally Novice title. At BKC & TKC shows in
Columbiana, Sparkles won WB/BOW/BOS over CH bitch Friday,
Saturday & Sunday. In Montgomery she took WB/BOW/BOS on
Saturday and WB/BOS on Sunday. In Perry, Sparkles won her RN
title on Friday and also another point toward her CH on Sunday. In
Hattiesburg Sparkles went WB/BOS Thursday, Friday, Saturday &
Sunday. Sparkles also took BEST IN MATCH on Thursday!! Now we
are just waiting for majors and working on our Rally & Obedience.

In other Lakeshore news, Dickens’ first
litter from Dixieland Dalmatians have
all gone to their homes. The girls will all
be shown in Conformation so we’re
looking forward to seeing them this fall.
Dickens is being spot specialed when his
Dad can get off work to go. Dickens
wins this spring include BOB in Newnan, BOB at BKC & TKC shows all 3 days
with a Group 3 placement; BOB all 3 days in Montgomery. Dickens has been off
since Montgomery but we look
forward to getting back out there
soon!
