안녕하십니까?
저희 동북아역사재단 독도연구소는 올 8월 14일로 개소 1주년을
맞이합니다. 이를 기념하여‘동아시아의 영토문제’를 국제적인
시각에서 고찰하기 위한 국제학술회의를 개최하게 되었습
니다. 본 국제학술회의에서는 우리의 고유 영토인 독도를 보다
국제적인 시각에서 조명하고자 합니다.
영토 문제를 중심으로 역사학·국제정치학·국제법 전공의
학자들이 모여 학제적 연구결과를 발표하고 같이 토론하고자
합니다. 미국, 영국, 중국, 일본, 러시아, 호주의 석학들과 함께
The Northeast Asian History Foundation cordially extends an invitation to you
to participate in the international conference on the“Transformation of the
International Order and Territorial Issues.”The Northeast Asian History
Foundation, in commemoration of the first anniversary of the Dokdo Research
Institute, is hosting the conference, which aims to undertake an in-depth
examination of the nature and facets of East Asia’s territorial issues from
diverse perspectives.
The conference will address the following topics: imperialism and East Asia in
the past and present, territorial issues from regional perspectives,
interdisciplinary dialogues on the Dokdo issue, and territorial issues in the age
of globalization. Distinguished scholars from various countries will examine
territorial issues in light of the changing international order from the
viewpoints of history, international law, and international politics.
동아시아에서의 영토문제를 보다 심도 있게 검토하면서, 연구
사적 함의를 도출하고 정책적 방향성을 모색하려는 것입니다.
부디 참석하셔서 우리의 고유영토인 독도에 관한 연구가 국제
적인 맥락에서 체계적으로 심화, 발전될 수 있도록 이끌어
This conference, founded on diverse approaches, aims to formulate a
framework for a more thorough and comprehensive understanding of territorial
issues in East Asia. We also hope that this forum will serve as a platform for
the exploration of viable means of resolving East Asia’s territorial issues, with
the long-term goal of realizing peace and cooperation in the region.

We would be most honored if you could join us and take part in this
meaningful scholarly gathering. Your valuable ideas and insights will add
depth and breadth to the study and discussion of territorial issues and their
potential solutions.
