The Bookworm Wainwright Public Library August 2013 Last session for Summer Reading Program! Sign up now before spaces fill up. Session #3- August 12-22. Play games, make crafts, read cool books and win prizes! Get ready to party on Tuesday, August 27th @ the SRP Windup Party . If you were in the SRP, join us from 11:00 to 1:00 at WPL for an afternoon of games and activities to wrap up the Summer Reading Program. Parents & siblings are welcome! There will be a barbecue lunch for those who have registered & attend. Hope to see you there! Explore! Parent & Child Drop In Every Wednesday starting July 10 From 10:00-12:00-No sign up required! Fun for ages 3-9 and informative for parents. This program, presented by Alberta Health Services & WPL, focuses on teaching strategies to keep up with reading skills over the summer! Summer Reading Passport Win a KOBO Mini! Read books set in different countries around the world & enter into WPL’s draw to win a KOBO Mini. One entry for each different country visited. Pick up your passport at circulation desk or online. Passports must be returned by August 30/13. Draw date: September 3, 2013 Ages 13 and Up. Storytime starts in September! 3 to 5 year olds will laugh, learn enjoy stories, songs, and a simple craft. We will also be closed on Monday, August 5th for the Civic Holiday and Monday, September 02nd for the Labour Day long weekend.
