Donald arrived in Bingen in Jan. 1956 and later was transferred to Landsberg and Landshut. He did administrative work in the Orderly Room. After his B.A. at Howard Payne Univ., he was a bank examiner in six Northwest states. Now retired, he and Joanne have four children. Dick served in the Personnel Division from April, 1953 until Jan. 1955. After returning home, he received a B.A. from the Univ. of Colorado and served as an administrator in Los Angeles. He and his wife, Jerry, are now retired. Bill was a CW Op. on A Trick from Mar., 1957, until Mar., 1960 in Bingen and Sembach. He had a career in Printing and Computer Graphics, working for Donnelly Printing for 17 years. He is retired, widowed with one daughter. George arrived in Bingen in Aug., 1956 and was transferred to Camp Piere in Wiesbaden as Voice and CW Radio Operator. The Operation was redesignated 6910th in 1957. He returned in 1959, received his B.S. from the U of Maryland, worked for Bendix/Honeywell Corp. on NASA Apollo and Hubbell Projects in Spain, Houston, and CA for 29 years and then with Lockheed Martin for 15 years. retired, he linguist is married Mary. He received his Ph.D. from Florida State Univ. in Government and Int'l Relations and taught at South Alabama Univ. in Mobile for 32 years retiring in 1998. Tom arrived in Bingen in Aug. 1955 as an Albanian Linguist outside of the reception range, so he became a Language Analyst until Oct., 1957. He received degrees at the University of Texas and Church Divinity School of the Pacific becoming an Episcopal Priest and Navy Chaplain, spending 30 years in the military, and retiring as Commander. He also was a General Investigator for the Treasury Dept. for 10 years. Jack & Millie have five children. Millie died in 2007. Jim was a CW Op. and Analyst on B Trick in Bingen while also spending time in Sembach and Darmstadt from Sept. 1956 until Sept. 1959. He was a Radio Operator four years with Aeronautical Radio, Inc., and then he became a professional musician playing the bass, violin, trombone and conducting. He retired from the New York Philharmonic but is still a musician of more than 37 years. He married Elizabeth Werner in Bingen. “Cannon” arrived in Landsberg in Nov., 1952, and found his clearance delayed, so he requested an AFSC change to AP and served until July, 1955. After an A.A. degree, he owned and managed several businesses before becoming a Corrections Officer for 23 years. He is married to Harriette. Stan worked in Supply in Bingen and Camp Pieri from early 1957 until Nov. 1959. He met Kathi in Rudesheim and married her in Wiesbaden. He retired from the AF in 1972 and then worked 19 years for GTE earning degrees in Human Resources and Sociology. He and Kathi have three children. Stan died in July, 2010. Rog was an Analyst from April, 1951 to Aug., 1952 in Landsberg. He attended Cornell Univ., studying Mechanical Engineering and worked for IBM in engineering and design for over 36 years. Geri, the mother of his eight children died in 1984, and he is legally separated from his second wife. Joe served as a CW Op on B Trick in Landsberg from Jan. 1953 until Jan. 1956. He attended Brooklyn College and RCA Technical Institute. He retired from commercial broadcasting in both radio and TV in 1994. He attended Wayne State Univ. in Detroit for one year, worked as a sports reporter with several black daily papers and retired from the Chicago Tribune. He and Barbara have four children (one deceased) . John served as a CW Op on A Trick from 1952-1954. He became a country music recording artist in 1954 and gained considerable fame during the next 45 years. Cash lived in Hendersonville with his wife, June Carter Cash. Bill was an Analyst in Berlin and Darmstadt from Sept., 1963 until Oct. 1965. After 13 years in the AF, he received a Disability Retirement. Receiving a B.S. in History Education, he became a high school teacher and worked as a Veteran’s Representative. He is married to Connie. He graduated from Roosevelt U in Chicago before the AF, and he had a career as newspaper reporter and editor in Chicago, Kansas City, St. Louis and New York. He and Susana have four children. Al arrived in Bingen in Sept., 1955 and was a CW Op. and Analyst on D Trick until Nov., 1958. He retired from the AF after 20 years as a M/Sgt.
