Description of the steps taken during the
reporting period towards achieving the objectives
of the plan
Materials and Feedstock Substitution : Brenntag purchases the substance as a pure product in accord with market demands. Substitution is not really an option.
Product Design / Reformulation : Redesign is not possible.
Equipment / Process Modifications : Replaced pump packings.
Spill and Leak Prevention : Replaced pump packings.
On-Site Reuse / Recycling : Currently the facility operates to repurpose waste solvents directly back into process, or into wide-specification solvent blends used in
the coatings industry.
Improved Inventory Management / Purchasing Techniques : Purchases of raw material are linked to market demand, on-site capacity, market price on the supply
side and general availability parameters (scarcity can be problematic). Material purchases are geared to having on hand only the inventory required for immediate
and near-future demands wherever possible.
Training / Improved Operating Practices : Presently implmented measures are satisfactory as they bear upon minnimizing losses of the substance.

Materials and Feedstock Substitution : Not feasible.
Product Design / Reformulation : Not feasible.
Equipment / Process Modifications : Pump packing replacement is feasible and has been implemented. Other measures are technically and economically not
feasible.
Spill and Leak Prevention : Not economically feasible.
On-Site Reuse / Recycling : Wherever possible, product is directed to re-use or recycling on site, with designation as waste being the last option.
Improved Inventory Management / Purchasing Techniques : Not technically or economically feasible.
Training / Improved Operating Practices :
Not technically or economically feasible.
