August 25, 2006 was a memorable day for Brevard residents. Thanks to the efforts of Mr.
Chandrasen Dhotre, his childhood friend and
famous film star Mr. Shashi Kapoor paid Melbourne a visit.

Despite his many achievements as an actor
and producer, Mr. Kapoor exhibited great
humility and simplicity of spirit. What a true
gentleman!
Ma Krupa
Fundraising Dinner
The musical group Surbahar paid a tribute to
Mr. Kapoor by singing songs from his films.
The youth danced to the music of one of his
songs and Mrs. Nina Gadodia interviewed
him eliciting some very interesting answers
much to the delight of the audience.
Dr. Snehlata and Dr. Sumant Pandya presented Mr. Kapoor with a check for $2000
for Prithvi theatres through the Ma Krupa
charitable foundation.
Mr. Dhotre also presented him with $1200
dollars for the Prithvi Charitable Foundation
from the Eau Gallie Rotary Charitable Trust.
Thank you Mr. Dhotre for this memorable
opportunity.
