The four time Bathurst 1000 winner will start his second Canterbury
rally in the historic class, in a different car from last year.
After having a whoopies in Dunedin this year and missing Whangarei, Greg will be keen to get back in the seat and master the
iconic Ashley Forestry roads, arguable the best in the country.

After winning Canterbury rally four years ago, and three non
finishes since then, Matt will be keen to get the monkey off his back
and finish. “Mt Grey is the best forestry road in the country and my
favourite, I can’t wait” says Summerfield.

Richard has come back charging and currently is third in the NZ
Rally Championship after two rounds. Canterbury is Richard’s home
event - keep an eye on this hard charging dark horse.

NZRC. A 4WD turbo built on a spaceframe chassis – the car and
driver have what it takes to win today.

Marcus has stamped his mark on NZ rallying and is a force that’s
second to none in his class.

Crowned NZ Rally Champion for 2015, a new car and after a great
result in Dunedin this year, Ben’s luck ran out at Whangarei
crashing out on day one, damaging his new car and his body. A
definite contender for a win today - will depend on how the cracked

Currently the fastest lady in NZ Rallying, Emma is now in her 3rd
season with her radical Suzuki Swift 4WD turbo. Like Hawkeswood’s
Mazda 2, this is a new generation car built just for Rallying.

Built by Toyota NZ and rallied by Paul Adams in the mid 1980’s.
This car made Ross Meeking famous with some spectacular drives at
Rally NZ. A true classic which Garry uses to full effect.
