All ADAC young talent series are based on the concept of talent promotion. Talent promotion
means that you must not be older than 21 years of age. If you are older, regrettably there are no
series organised by the ADAC head office in which you could start. If you are still interested in
bike racing, call the German Motor Sport Federation (DMSB) at +49 69 63 30 07-0 or another
cup organiser (e.g. Yamaha-Cup). Usually, in these racing formats, there are no age restrictions.

ADAC Pocket Bike Cup
Generation 2006 to 2010
The ADAC Pocket Bike Cup is the earliest stage at which racing hopefuls can enter organised
road racing. This is where young talent can cut their teeth in motorcycle racing.
The ADAC Pocket Bike Cup uses 40cc GRC and BLATA Pocket Bikes. The strict Technical
Rules and Regulations allow little in terms of technical modifications, which keeps cost
down.
1. Cost:
In addition to the cost of the bikes, one season in the ADAC Pocket Bike Cup requires some
€4,000 for the entry fee, travel expenses, fuel, tyres, equipment, spare parts etc. You must buy
your own Pocket Bikes and other equipment items. Various manufacturers and vendors of
equipment, accessories etc. offer special prices to ADAC Pocket Bike Cup entrants. Entry fee:
€400.00 (incl. VAT). The fee includes the introductory course, entry fees to the events as well
as full support during the racing season. The support includes the series coordinator, the
riders’ coordinator, a scrutineer, the GRC/BLATA racing service and the PMT tyre service.
2. The racing calendar:
The season consists of 5-7 events of two races each. An introductory course preparing the
riders for the series will be held early in the year. Pocket Bike Cup races will be held all over
Germany, usually on Kart circuits, with full race-track safety arrangements.
3. Bikes and tyres:
You can buy a GRC pocket bike specially priced at approx. €2,400.00 from a company called
Raceoffice, provided that your entry to the ADAC Pocket Bike Cup was confirmed and the
entry fee was remitted by bank transfer. You can buy a BLATA pocket bike specially priced
at approx. €2,200.00 from a company called Goped, provided that your entry to the ADAC
Pocket Bike Cup was confirmed and the entry fee was remitted by bank transfer.
Or you can buy a second-hand pocket bike. You will find a second-hand market place
(bikes/parts/equipment) on our website at http://www.adac-motorsport.de/adac-pocket-bikecup/de/reglement/static/.
Only tyres made by PMT will be allowed. They will be available specially priced from
Raceoffice.
4. The entry fee and what it buys:
The entry fee shall be €400 (incl. VAT). It includes the services and benefits below:
 Two-day introductory course
 Approx. 6 events with at least 1 10-minute free practice, 2 x 10-minute timed practice
sessions and two races
 Full support
 Year-end prize monies/sponsorship & support
 Discounted prices on motorbikes and accessories
 A material package from Motul
5. ADAC regional club motorsport divisions:

6. Guest riders:
If you do not want to enter the ADAC Pocket Bike Cup on a permanent all-season basis, and
instead would like to ride only in a race or two, you can enter as a guest rider. The cost is
€70.00 per event (= 2 races) and €150.00 for the introductory course. If you ride out of
competition (non-scoring), you may be allowed under certain conditions to ride a bike other

ADAC Mini Bike Cup
Novice Class Generation 2003 to 2008
Talent Class Generation 2001 to 2006
In addition to the ADAC Pocket Bike Cup the ADAC Mini Bike Cup is ADAC’s second
entry-level motorcycle road-racing series. Here, young riders can prove their talent.
There are two classes in the series. There is a Novice Class for first-time racers. After proving
themselves in this class they can advance to the Talent Class.
Both classes use Honda NSF100 4-stroke bikes. Guest riders may continue using the Honda
NSR50 2-stroke bike. The strict Technical Rules and Regulations allow little in terms of
technical modifications which keeps cost down.
1. Cost:
Our experience shows that you have to spend about €6,000.00 for a season in the ADAC Mini
Bike Cup (the bike not included). This sum covers the entry fee, travel expenses, petrol, tyres,
equipment, spare parts etc. You must buy your own bike and other equipment items. Various
manufacturers and vendors of equipment, accessories etc. offer special prices to ADAC Mini
Bike Cup entrants. Entry fee for the Novice Class is approx. €600.00 and approx. €800.00 in
the Talent Class (both incl. VAT). The fee includes the introductory course, entry fees to the
events as well as full support during the racing season. The support includes the series
coordinator, the riders’ coordinator, a scrutineer, the Honda racing service and tyre service.
2. The racing calendar:
A season comprises approx. 8 events of two races each in the Novice Class and about 10
events in the Talent Class. An introductory course preparing the riders for the series will be
held early in the year. Mini Bike Cup races will be held all over Germany, usually on Kart
circuits, with full race-track security.
3. Bikes and tyres:
You will have the opportunity to buy a new Honda NSF100 4-stroke mini bike for probably
around €5,000.00, provided that your definitive entry to the ADAC Mini Bike Cup was
confirmed and the entry fee was received. Or you can buy a second-hand mini bike.
You will find a second-hand market place (bikes/parts/equipment) on our website at
http://www.adac-motorsport.de/adac-mini-bike-cup/de/reglement/static/. Used 4-stroke mini
bikes are available for about €2,500.
Only Dunlop tyres will be allowed. They will be available specially priced.
4. The entry fee and what they buy – Novice Class (Talent Class):
The entry fee is approx. €600.00 (€800.00). It includes the services and benefits below:

 Approx. 8 (10) events with at least 1 15-minute free practice, 2 x 15-minite (20minute) timed practice sessions and two races
 Full support

ADAC Junior Cup powered by KTM
Generation 1995 to 2003
The ADAC Junior Cup powered by KTM is a talent class both for first-time riders and cross-over
riders coming from other motor sport disciplines wishing to enter motorcycle road racing. In the
ADAC Junior Cup powered by KTM you can learn how to corner at the highest possible speed, find
your racing line and win races.
Before the season starts an introductory course will be held where experienced instructors such
as Dario Giuseppetti or Michael Ranseder show you all you need to know to start racing. The
whole series is supervised by ADAC. The ADAC Junior Cup powered by KTM is the stepping stone
to the German national championship.
1. Cost:
In addition to the cost of the bikes, one season in the ADAC Junior Cup requires some €12,000
for the entry fee, travel expenses, fuel, tyres, equipment, spare parts etc. You must buy your own
bike and other equipment items. You buy the bike from the official racing service of the series.
New bikes cost €6,545 + approx. €655 for the obligatory racing package, incl. kick-stand,
reduction gears and all original parts. To take advantage of this offer, your definitive entry to the
ADAC Junior Cup powered by KTM must be confirmed and the entry fee received.
Various manufacturers and vendors of equipment, accessories etc. offer special prices to ADAC
Junior Cup powered by KTM entrants.
You will find a second-hand market place (bikes/parts/equipment) on our website at
http://www.adac-motorsport.de/adac-junior-cup/de/reglement/static/.
2. The racing calendar:
Races in the ADAC Junior Cup powered by KTM are planned as supporting races of the Superbike,
endurance world and MotoGP world championships and other events. Normally races are held at
circuits such as the Sachsenring, Hockenheim, Oschersleben, Nurburgring, Red Bull Ring, Assen
and Lausitzring.
3. Bikes and tyres:
Only KTM RC390 Cup Bikes are allowed in the ADAC Junior Cup powered by KTM. You can buy
them only through the official racing service of the series. Once you buy a bike you can use it in
the Cup for unlimited time. Only Metzeler tyres will be allowed. These will also be available to
you specially priced.
4. The entry fee and what it buys:
The entry fee is €2,600.
We are currently negotiating with a sponsor from the racing apparel sector who would then
provide a leather 2-piece suit (incl. airbag) and possibly boots/gloves free of charge to all
entrants. Should the sponsor actually provide this undoubtedly very precious package, the entry
fee would rise to €2,990.
This would include the services and benefits below:
 3.5-day introductory course
 Approx. 8 events with at least two 25-minute timed practice sessions and one race
 One approx. 25-minute free practice (if possible)
 Full support
 Continuing sponsorship & support for talented riders in follow-on series (approx.
€50,000.00 in total / screening sessions for the Red Bull Rookies Cup for the best three
riders, national or international, meeting the Red Bull Rookies Cup entry criteria).
 One young rider will receive a KTM Duke 125 road bike
 Prize monies amounting to €19,600
 Discounted prices on motorbikes, tyres and accessories
 X–Lite helmet
 Team uniforms for the rider and assistants (T shirt / polo shirt / jacket)
 A material package from Motul
07.03.2016
 Coverage of DMSB licence fees where ADAC is the entrant (German riders only and
only if the licence is purchased through the ADAC head office)
5. ADAC regional club motorsport divisions:
There are ADAC regional motor sport divisions who offer further support to the riders in their
region. In the Appendix to this document you will find a list of the ADAC regional motor sport
divisions. Check the motor sport division in charge of your area and contact them personally.
6. Guest riders:
If you do not want to enter the ADAC Junior Cup powered by KTM on a permanent all-season
basis, and instead would like to ride only in a race or two, you can enter as a guest rider.
The fee is approx. €990.00 per race for the complete package. It includes all services and benefits
except the rider’s overall and replacement parts/parts damaged in a crash.
I you already own an adequate bike your guest rider entry fee will be only €190.00 per race. The
entry fee will be €290.00 for each two-race event or GP supporting event.
Adequate bike means a former ADAC Junior Cup powered by KTM bike with a sealed engine which must
have been delivered by the official race service in one of the previous ADAC Junior Cup powered
by KTM seasons.
To take advantage of this offer, you must prove a certain level of racing experience, there must
be vacant places in the Cup and you need to meet the further criteria for entry to the ADAC
Junior Cup powered by KTM, as outlined in the Rules and Regulations.
