Video Tutorial Registration
Welcome to the eCabinet Systems Video Tutorials.
You will be receiving multiple emails from “[email protected]”. Techsmith is the producer of a product and website called Screencast.com. These emails are an invitation that allows
you to view the contents of a specific folder or file. In most cases, it will be a folder. These
folders are locked or Screencast calls them “Authenticated”. You will only be able to view the
videos if you register with Screencast.com. If you have any applications that block incoming
emails you need to make sure that “[email protected]” is allowed to enter your firewall.
At Thermwood, we will not know whether you received the invitation or not. It is sent by Screencast.com.
When you look at your first email there will be a “blue line” that is the link to the folder. If you
are not registered with Screencast.com, then a dialog box will offer you an opportunity to join.
It is “Free”. If you are a member, then you just need to login at the upper right with your email
address and password.

Next, if you’ve received more than one email invitation you’ll need to open each email and clickon the link (blue line) to accept the invitation.
Currently, there are four folders in the library as shown below. This will change as content is
added.
Click on any of the folders to access the content of that folder. In this case, the folder labeled “2
Cabinet Assembly Editor” has been accessed.
Each of the colored tiles represents a video clip and the number within the filename represents
the corresponding section and sub-section in “The Nearly Complete Guide to eCabinet Systems”.

In the upper right underneath the caption “Help”, you can change the view between “Detail
View” and “Tile View”. The two examples on the previous page display both variations. The
folders are in “Detail View”, while the video clips for “2 Cabinet Assembly Editor” are in “Tile
View”.
The tiles are colored and delineate a change from one sub-section to another in most cases.
Left-click on the clip that you want to view.
If you press the function key F11, the display will change to full screen and remove the dropdown menus. In this example, this is clip or file #2 of 44 total. You can navigate to the next
video by either clicking on the right arrow or selecting the desired clip’s tile displayed below. A
general description is provided below that.
Depending on your screen resolution and size you may need to experiment with displaying this
in Small or Full Size and in combination with the F11 function enabled or disabled. If you have
a second monitor, you can move the video to that monitor while you work along with eCabinets
on the other monitor.
Towards the top of the screen, there is a gray bar that displays the name of the current file. You
can return to the previous screen by clicking on the folder name “2 Cabinet Assembly Editor” or
you can return to the first screen by clicking on “Thermwood Corp’s Library”.
You end the session by logging out or closing the window for Screencast.com. If you decide to
return to www.screencast.com, then you will need to log in to view the videos.

By registering with screencast.com, you can create your own libraries with content that can be
shared either privately or commercially. Your Screencast account includes a lot of help documentation for using screencast and creating your own content. Screencast does not have any
affiliation with Thermwood, therefore their Help documentation and videos pertain only to their
products.
