WASA Last Night Westford Against Substance Abuse Last Night celebration March 2015 WASA Last Night is an all-night substance free celebration for Westford Academy graduating seniors hosted by the Last Night committee along with our sponsor Westford Against Substance Abuse. It has become an important community celebration for the accomplishments of our young adults as they prepare for the next stage of their lives. This year is an important milestone for us as we celebrate our twenty-fifth anniversary. The event started in response to concerns about substance abuse, both locally and globally, and our wish to give the gift of a memorable and safe “Last Night” to the graduating class. Thank you to all the families, community members, and businesses that generously donated to make Last Night 2014 a reality. We could not have had such a tremendously successful event without your support. We really appreciate it! Congratulations to the Westford Academy class of 2015 graduates and best wishes to you in your new endeavors! Good luck to you in the work place, in the armed forces, and at colleges and universities across the country! We would also like to extend a huge thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who helped plan and set up for this event as well as the volunteers who worked the actual evening. You made it happen for approximately 380 seniors to celebrate their graduation from Westford Academy. Each year the graduates arrive at 10 p.m. on graduation night; play casino, carnival and gym games, watch live entertainment, and eat plenty of food until they depart early the next morning with their prizes. We hope you can help us and be part of this wonderful event. For more information on how you can contribute to this year’s Last Night event, please contact lastnight@ wasa-ma.org.
