The New york State Association of Fire Chiefs (NySAFC) is pleased to announce that the Eastern Division of the
International Association of Fire Chiefs (EDIAFC) will hold its Annual Conference at the Turning Stone resort in
conjunction with the NySAFC Annual Conference & FIrE Expo through the year 2017. EDIAFC members, including
fire chiefs, company officers, and firefighters from Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New york, Pennsylvania, and the
District of Columbia, will have the opportunity to attend NySAFC’s FIrE Expo exhibits and educational programs as
well as participate in the EDIAFC annual meeting, banquet, and special programs.

hands-On TraininG PrOGrams
NySAFC offers Hands-On Training in conjunction with
the Annual Conference & FIrE Expo with some of the
nation’s leading fire service instructors. These intensive
programs, some featuring live fire evolutions, are
conducted at the Turning Stone and nearby training
sites. This specialized training covers diverse subjects
such as thermal imaging camera operations, vehicle
extrication, aggressive interior fire attack, flashover,
elevator rescue, rapid intervention/survival, rope rescue,
trench rescue, and truck company operations.
