In this session, we will cover the business process, and identify the fields involved in Quantum. From there, our next step is creation of meaningful reports and use of automated tools to better manage core collection.. Quantum users can benefit from web services to retrieve information from areas such as denied trade screening, freight forwarding or currency exchange rates among others. This session will show the audience how to use PL/SQL to retrieve information from a SOAP 1.1 web service, parse the XML response and store the data back in Quantum. 12:25pm - 1:25pm LUNCH 1:25pm - 2:20pm Primary Session Alternate Session Crystal Reports: Unleashing the Quantum DataMiner in You Quantum Purchase Management Module (Material Requirements) Presented by Tim Hernandez, Pacific Southwest Instruments Presented by Mark Shankland, Air Comm Stop data exporting from Crystal Reports and start unleashing focused reporting inside Quantum. The goal of this presentation is to help you drive and develop good analytical reporting. If you don’t have any experience with Crystal Reports you will understand some highlights that could be the missing link in your daily reporting. This presentation will cover a brief overview of the aggregated demand functions of Purchase Management and differences between this and traditional Material Planning systems, and some reporting ideas to simulate a portion of MRP messages to account for demand changes and avoid excess orders. 2:25pm - 3:05pm Primary Session Alternate Session Advanced Shop Control Features - Utilizing Purchase Management and Part Groups Using Quantum Data with Web, EM and BI integration Presented by Sally Tomlinson, T-Aerospace Presented by John Schneider, Avtrade Shop Control module has key features that we use in regards to Shop Planning, this includes Purchase Management to replenish the BOM and assigning vendors to parts using Part Groups. A general review of how Avtrade integrates Quantum with Business Intelligence (SAP) and the AVNET Intranet/Extranet solution. In this session we will demonstrate a 80/20% split commission using the LOT module. We will also review the new Consignment View feature in Quantum using the filter option to see stock based on a specific date or date range. The strategic partnership between customer and vendor is critical for success. Amy Sonnentag (Component Control) and Shannon Weidler (RSG Products) share a proven process for making the connection between your business goals & processes and your Quantum software. 11:55am - 12:35pm Primary Session Alternate Session Implementing and Supporting Spec 2000 via SITA Remote Inventory Module with Portal Intregration Presented by Sean Melia, SITA Presented by Ryan Realivasquez, Component Control Presentation will include background and future of the Spec 2000 standard, how Spec 2000 via SITA is implemented for QC users, how to troubleshoot issues/who supports what, etc. In this session we will review the Remote Inventory Module and its intregration with the LOT module and Lease Module to manage contracts when dealing with either Rotables or Consumables. *Agenda Subject to Change Page 6 2016 12:35pm - 1:35pm LUNCH 1:35pm - 2:35pm Round Tables - Day 2, Session 2 The Round Table sessions give participants the opportunity to discuss issues specific to a Quantum module with their peers. This session will form a connection with our keynote speakers from the FAA with SUP-Suspected Unapproved Parts, BER-Beyond Economical Repair or SCRAP and shelf life items.
