Since February is Lincoln’s birth month, The Episcopal Church Home will celebrate by inviting Larry and Mary Elliott as Abraham and Mary Lincoln (Pictured right). Lincoln and Larry have a lot in common. Not only by their similar look, but Larry’s great, great, great grandmother (Mary LaRue Enlow) was the midwife who helped deliver Abraham Lincoln. Larry’s wife, Mary will portray Mary Todd Lincoln. Together, Larry & Mary, will tell the story of Lincoln’s humble roots in Kentucky. From growing up in Indiana, to becoming a self taught lawyer in Illinois, to becoming our 16th President who preserved the Union and freed the slaves, and to his untimely death at Fords Theatre. Don’t miss the show on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 3:30 PM in Gheens Towne Hall.
