Rules and Conditions of Entry.
1.
Warm up available on surface!!
2.
Hard hats must be worn in all ridden classes, hats of PAS 015 / BSEN 1384 standard must be worn. If a rider loses their
hat during jumping they WILL BE ELIMINATED. Riding hats must have a chin strap on them.
3.
No galloping on the showground.
4.
No horse or pony under the age of 4 years may be ridden on the showground.
5.
Hacking / Show Jackets must be worn in all ridden classes. Body protectors are permitted to be worn outside jackets in
jumping classes.
6.
DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS AND CLEARED UP AFTER.
7.
The organisers reserve the right to alter classes, judges or any of the published information.
8.
Entries are accepted and admission to the showground is granted on condition that the organisers and persons acting
on their behalf accept no liability for any accidents, loss or damage to persons, animals or property howsoever caused.
9.
No refunds, except upon receipt of a Veterinary or Doctors Certificate. No refunds will be issued in the event on a class
clashing.
10. Whilst every attempt has been made to avoid classes clashing, or in the event being cancelled for any reason, the
organisers accept no responsibility and therefore refunds will not be made.
11. THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL. Any objections must be made within 30 minutes of the end of the class and must be
accompanied by a deposit of £10, which will be refunded if the objection is upheld.
12. No stallions / colts to be handled or ridden in the children’s classes. No spurs to be used in children’s classes.
13. Any discourteous behaviour to any official will result in dismissal from the showground.
14. We strongly advise that all children 16 yrs and under wear a hard hat whilst showing in hand.
15. Third party public liability insurance is strongly advised for all competitors.
16. Competitors are responsible for adhering to their start times.
17. Many instructors have kindly donated a free lesson. This lesson will be within 5 miles of the instructor’s base or winner
may be required to travel. Please arrange with the instructor.

18. All trophies received must be given back to Shedfield Equestrian by 21 March 2016 and deposit is required of £20.

Cricklands Qualifier.
Qualifying cards can be collected from the secretary tent. Dressage
competitors will qualify with a dressage score of 58% or above in any
Prelim, Novice or Elementary Tests. The qualifying card must have the
show secretary’s signature on it and the class they have qualified for. It
is up to the competitor to send off the qualifying card with all personal
details completed to Cricklands with £10 deposit per entry. Please note
that that Cricklands do not have a set closing date and will close classes when full. See www.cricklands.com for

Cricklands Qualifiers 1’9”/50cm, 2’/60cm, 2’3”/70cm, 2’6”/75cm, 2’9”/85cm, 3’/90cm and 3’3”/1m. Must be

NEXT STAGE SECOND ROUND QUALFIERS – You can only compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Second Round Qualifiers, if you are
a 2015 member and your animal is registered with SSAD Ltd and hold the 2015 membership/registration card. Once you have qualified at a First
Round Qualifier and you have received an Acceptance card, only then may you compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans Second Round Qualifiers.
The Second Round Champions will go on to compete at the Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Supreme Final at the London International Horse
Show in December 2015.

SENIOR DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES 2015 Classes 2, 3, 4 & 5
The 6 highest placed competitors with a horse/pony 15 years of age and over with a final test score of 55% and above within the
whole class will qualify for the Senior Dressage National Finals. Competitors do not need to be a member of SSAD Ltd to enter
the classes. When qualified you will have 10 days to return their Qualification Card and to register with Senior Dressage Series. A
full photocopy of the horse/pony passport to verify the animals age must also be sent.
Cherif 2015 Rules Classes 16 & 17.
This qualifying competition is open to registered Anglo & Part-bred Arab stallions, mares and geldings, four years
old and over, any height and to be judged as ridden horses/ponies. All Part-breds must contain the minimum
12½% Arab blood. Novice classes and those mixed with Pure breds are not eligible.
The final will be held at the Cherif Championship Show, Addington Manor Equestrian Centre, Addington, Bucks.
On Wednesday 16th September 2015.
At the final, there will be five Championship classes. Rosettes awarded to 10th place. All entries are likely to be
measured at the final, and if found to be over height for the class entered, cannot transfer, and will therefore be
disqualified.
CLASSES SPLIT AT 148cms & Under - To qualify: One Pink Card (138cms & under) and one Blue Card (over 138148cms). Will not be ridden by the judge at qualifying shows, but will be ridden by a lightweight adult at the Cherif
Championship final. Two entries will qualify. One up to 138cms (pink card) and one over 138-148 (blue card) both
must be within the first four in the class in order to qualify. No entry placed lower than fourth can qualify
Over 148cms: Will be ridden by the judge at qualifying shows. Two may qualify. The highest placed entries within
the first four in the class at (a) up to and including 153cms (white card) and (b) over 153cms (Green card) will
qualify. No entry placed lower than fourth can qualify, even if only one height section is covered by the top four in
the class.
Competitors must carry their qualifying cards with them in the ring to be signed by the judge. Failure to produce
the card for signature means non-qualification. NO CARDS ARE TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE RING ONCE THE CLASS
HAS STARTED. All qualifiers will receive rosettes. For entry for the RIHS, please refer to the BSPS web site for
further information.
The Cherif Championship is delighted to announce that the show has been allocated A 2015 HOYS QUALIFIER for
Part-bred Arabs of 148cms & Under
The HOYS qualifying class will be held separately from the Cherif classes, and is open to all registered Anglo and
Part-bred Arab ponies of 148cms & Under.
TSR Riders Championships
TSR Riders & IN HAND Championships - This show is a qualifier for the 2015 TSR Riders/In Hand Regional Championships .
Riders/Handlers can choose which Regional final they go to Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, Wales &
South West or Scottish.
TSR Riders Champs - 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring. Classes: 14-20, 24-26, 31-33, 34-37,
44-50, 63-69, 70-76, 84-91.
TSR In Hand Champs - The two highest placed handlers with a TSR In Hand Card will qualify in any In Hand class. Handlers
MUST have their cards signed in the ring by the judge; cards are available from the TSR website. Classes: 6-13, 21-23, 38-43, Full

Southern Ridden Hampshire Championship
An entry INVITATION is offered to the Champion of the Shedfield Equestrian Summer Show on Saturday & Sunday to
enter the SOUTHERN RIDDEN HAMPSHIRE CHAMPIONSHIP to be held at the Romsey Show on the 12th September
2015. Should the Champion have previously received an invitation then the Reserve Champion will receive the
invitation. Entry to go no lower than Reserve Champion. Prize money worth £300. Please see

highest exhibits not already qualified in each affiliated class will qualify.”

years old & over not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 8th birthday before 1st January in the
current year. To be led by an attendant and shown in a snaffle bridle. Lead rein to be attached to the noseband
only.
35. RCH FARRIERY / EQUIFEST MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND LEAD REIN. Open to Mountain & Moorland ponies,
registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Dartmoor, Exmoor, New Forest, Shetland and Welsh A or B.
Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 9th birthday before
1st January in the current year. To be led by an attendant and shown in a Snaffle Bridle, the lead rein to be attached
to the noseband only.
36. WELLBURY PARK STUD & RIDGEWAY VET PHYSIO/ EQUIFEST SHOW PONY FIRST RIDDEN First Ridden Pony,
mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 128cm. Riders not to have attained their 10th birthday before
1st January in the current year. To be shown in any suitable bridle.
37. NATALIE BIRD / EQUIFEST MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND FIRST RIDDEN Open to Mountain & Moorland ponies,
registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Dartmoor, Exmoor, New Forest, Shetland, and Welsh A or B.
Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 12th birthday before
1st January in the current year. To be shown in any suitable bridle.
38, 39 & 40. BSPA / EQUIFEST IN HAND PIEBALD / SKEWBALD Open in Hand Piebald / Skewbald stallion, mare, colt,
filly or gelding, any age. The first three places will also qualify for the BSPA Championships. Subject to their show

42 & 43. DRUMACRE HALL STUD / EQUIFEST MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND IN HAND Open to In Hand Mountain &
Moorland ponies registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell,
Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A, B, C and D. Stallion, mare, colt, filly or gelding, any age.
48 & 49. THE HEWITT FAMILY/ EQUIFEST OPEN RIDDEN MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND. Open to Mountain &
Moorland ponies registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell,
Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A, B, C and D. Stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over. Rider any age.
45 & 46. BSPA / EQUIFEST RIDDEN PIEBALD / SKEWBALD Open ridden Piebald / Skewbald stallion, mare or gelding,
4 years old & over. Riders any age. The first three places will also qualify for the BSPA Championship. Subject to
their show rules & conditions.
72. NUPAFEED / EQUIFEST RIDDEN COBS Open Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, exceeding 148cms
but not exceeding 155cms. Riders any age.
The Coloured Horse & Pony Society
"This show is affiliated to The Coloured Horse & Pony Society (UK). Affiliation No. 15098.
Both owner and the rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS (UK) nor must the horse or pony be registered
with CHAPS (UK) to compete. However in order to Qualify both Owner and Rider/Exhibitor need to be a current
showing member and present their valid Qualifier card IN THE RING for signing by the judge. Members to apply in
writing to CHAPS (UK) for appropriate qualifier card. The CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on 7th-9th
August 2015. Shows held on or after date of Championship Show will count as 2016 qualifiers. The following
classes are CHAPS (UK) Qualifiers [Show Secretary to insert class numbers]. For full rulings and information on
competition/qualification, please refer to the CHAPS (UK) Members' Handbook; or visit www.chapsuk.com for
rulings. All stallions, 4 years old and over entering these classes must be graded with CHAPS (UK). All stallions
must wear Stallion ID Discs in the ring without exception.
38. CHAPS (UK) Open Youngstock Qualifier; 1, 2 or 3 Year Olds; no foals.
39. CHAPS (UK) Native/Cob/Traditional Open In-Hand Qualifier, any height. Any age, no foals.
40. CHAPS (UK) Non-Native Open In-Hand Qualifier, any height. Any age, no foals.
45. CHAPS (UK) Native/Cob/Traditional Open Ridden Qualifier, any height.
46. CHAPS (UK) Non-Native Open Ridden Qualifier, any height, any type.
The Sunshine Tour is an exciting Unaffiliated Championship Series in the South-East featuring dressage,
show jumping and showing. Sunshine Tour Unaffiliated Championships at The All England Showground, Hickstead
18-20 September 2015. There’s a wide choice of championship classes to qualify for and fantastic prizes to be won.
Show Jumping: 1st-6th qualify in selected classes: 1’9”/50cm, 2’/60cm, 2’3”/70cm, 2’6”/75cm, 2’9”/85cm,
3’/90cm and 3’3”/1m. Must be clear in the first round.
If you qualify you’ll receive a Sunshine Tour qualification card – simply register online or complete the card
and send it in for an information pack and details of how to enter the Sunshine Tour Championship.
Also qualify for Royal London with us!
First, second and third placed horses/ponies not already qualified in eligible classes will qualify for the Champion of
Britain Title classes to be held at the Royal London Show in 2015. Each qualified horse/pony will receive a
qualification card in the ring which will enable the owner to enter the Royal London Show, provided the owner and
rider/handler are, or become registered with the International Showing Society within 28 days of the qualifying

RIDDEN ARABIAN STAR SERIES Class 18 & 19.
The two previously unqualified horses from within the first four in each RASS class will qualify to enter the
Championship to be held at the UKIAHS at Addington on 29th August 2015 Open to Pure Bred Arabs registered in the
Arab Horse Society Stud Book.
No qualification for the Series will be passed down in the event of a qualified exhibit withdrawing for any reason.
Judges WILL NOT ride the exhibits! Instead they will set a show for the exhibits to perform.
In the event of a marks tie, highest ride mark will decide the winner. If the ride mark is a draw the highest TYPE mark
will decide.
If all marks are a draw the judges must pull the horses out head to head and decide on the higher placed animal.
Each horse entering the class must have a RASS card which must be signed in the ring.
Cards may not be brought into the ring after the commencement of the class.

The Side Saddle Association Classes 27 – 30.
✜EQUITATION CHAMPIONSHIPS OPEN QUALIFYING CLASS ✜
Run under SSA Rules defined in the current Member’s Handbook. Open to SSA Members and Non-Members.
Members carrying their current Championship Points Cards are eligible for SSA rosettes to 3rd Adult and 3rd Junior
places and SSA Championship Points. Southernden Farm offers a rosette to the highest placed Member aged under
14 on 1st January of the current year. Side Saddle International offer a rosette to the Adult Member and Manor
Grange Stud Show Centre to the Junior Member, judged to be the best turned out. Competitors must wear a hat to
current British Safety Standard or above.
✜ SIDE SADDLE RIDING CLUB HORSE/PONY OPEN CLASS ✜
The Judge must be on the current SSA or other appropriate Judging Panels
Open to horses and ponies 4 years old or over. Riders will be required to give a short show including a small jump,
maximum 61cms (2’). The height may be adjusted during the course of the class at the Judge’s discretion. The class
shall be judged on the show, the manners of horse/pony and its suitability for the rider. Conformation will not be
considered. A Special rosette will be awarded to the highest placed Adult and Junior Members of the SSA carrying
their current Championship Points Cards. Competitors must wear a hat to current British Safety Standard or
above.
✜BEST HORSE OR PONY RIDDEN SIDE SADDLE ✜
Open to horses and ponies 4 years old or over: conformation & manners will be taken into consideration;
horses/ponies will not be stripped. A Special rosette will be awarded to the highest placed Adult and Junior Members
of the SSA carrying their current Championship Points Cards. Competitors must wear a hat to current British
Safety Standard or above.
✜ SIDE SADDLE CONCOURS d’ÉLÉGANCE ✜
The Judge must be on the current SSA or any appropriate Judging panel but may be assisted by a Celebrity or
Sponsor. Where these classes are a main ring attraction Shows may, at their discretion limit entries to Adult
competitors only and the rosette provided for the highest placed Junior will not be awarded.
The sole criterion for this class is the elegance of the picture presented by horse and rider. Attention may be paid to
the rider’s personal appearance but detailed inspection of rider or tack is not required. Fancy dress or period costume
is not permitted. Competitors are required to walk, trot and canter. No individual show is required, but the Judge may
ask groups of 3 or 4 riders to give short displays. 2 Special rosettes will be awarded to the highest placed Adult
Member and the highest placed Junior Member of the SSA carrying their current
The British Miniature Horse Classes Class 93-100.
These classes are open to all Miniature horses regardless of registration, and owners and handlers do not need
to be members of the BMHS. Winners in each class will qualify to compete at the BMHS Breed Show on the 5th
September 2015, provided that the owner and handler of the horse becomes a member of the BMHS within 28
days of the show. Winners of Classes 4, 5 & 6 will qualify for the “Star Seeker Championship” to be held at the
BMHS Breed Show in September. The winner of that Championship will, subject to vetting, be eligible for the
BMHS Stud Book and will qualify for the RIHS 2016 in its appropriate class. Horses will not be measured on
the day but will be measured when attending the Championship classes at the BMHS Breed show.
TARRA Qualifier Class 31
TARRA Ridden: Open to all Weatherbys (or relevant foreign thoroughbred authority) registered Thoroughbreds raced
or unraced (passports may be checked) 4yrs and over owned and ridden by an amateur. Ideally racing name of
horse to be used on entry form. Horses must be registered with RoR and have a RoR number which should be stated
on the entry form. Class will be judged under a ‘riding horse’ format without ‘type’ being taken into consideration.
Injuries and blemishes caused through racing will be ignored. The first two horses will qualify and qualification will
pass down the line to fourth place only. The judge may ride.
This is a qualifier for the TARRA Ridden Championship at Aintree, August 2015.
