Annual Presentation of Awards Ceremony 2015/2016
Thanks to the support of many in the community, The Community Chest has raised over HK$314 million in the year from April 2015 to March 2016, the third highest amount raised since the organisation was founded in 1968. 100% of all donations, without deduction of administration expenses,
are used to fund a wide range of quality social welfare services provided by the Chest’s 158 member social welfare agencies for the elderly, children & youth, family & child welfare, and in the areas of medical & health, rehabilitation & aftercare, as well as community development services, to benefit
over 2,100,000 Hong Kong people in need every year. The Award Presentation Ceremony on 27 June 2016 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre was held to acknowledge the generosity of organisations, corporations and individual donors for their significant contributions.
