paper-scoring tool
1. Cut Out Circles - Trace pattern from Page 2 onto
assorted craft papers. Cut 20 paper circles from pattern A

For Paper Topiary, Add... (Steps 1-7 below)
3/8” wooden dowel
ribbon or twill tape for pole
E6000 glue or glue gun
ribbon, 1”-1.5“ wide, for bow
flower pot, floral foam & moss
fold
2. Score Fold Lines - Fold pattern along dotted
lines to form triangle. One at a time, center
triangular pattern on each cut out circle and
score lines onto circle. Once done, each
paper circle will have score lines that form a
triangle at its center. With right side up, fold
each paper circle along score lines.
3. Create Top & Bottom - With gluestick, glue
flaps of 5 pieces together to form globe
top as shown. Repeat for globe bottom.
4. Create Middle Band - Glue remaining
10 pieces together as shown. Glue first
piece to last piece to form band.
... and so on.
5. Form Ball - Glue globe top to globe band. Glue globe
bottom to other side of globe band to form ball.
6. Prep Pole - Cut dowel to 16.5” for small topiary, or to
19.5” for large topiary. Wrap dowel with ribbon, securing
ribbon at top and bottom with E6000 glue or glue gun.
7. Assemble Topiary - Cut floral foam to fit into flower pot,
with top of foam 1” below rim of flower pot. Insert covered
dowel into hole in paper globe. Poke bottom of dowel into
center of foam. Arrange moss to cover foam. Tie ribbon
bow around dowel at base of paper globe.
Enjoy!
