Carbon graphite is a natural substance 4 times
stronger than steel, 5 times stiffer than steel and 5
times lighter than steel. Its shape is not affected by
temperature and it dissipates heat rapidly.
The carbon barrel is constructed by wrapping
multiple layers of carbon graphite around a thin
steel barrel liner using a proprietary processes and
special equipment. The resulting carbon barrel has
no built-in residual stress, and its accuracy is not
affected by temperature. It shoots accurately hot or
cold and lasts 25% longer than steel barrel.

The carbon stock is made by laying up carbon
graphite layers in a special mould and vacuum-

shape is totally unaffected by temperature or
humidity. The carbon stock reduces the recoil shock
by more than 30% and performs like a bench-rest
stock at a fraction of the weight.
Christensen carbon hunting rifles weigh between
2.4 to 2.8 kg depending on the caliber and optional accessories. All models in the range produce
very little recoil even with the heavier high-power
calibers. This is due to the rigidity and innovative
design of our carbon stocks.
Most our rifles are delivered with a removable
muzzle-break to increase the shot precision, achieve
tight grouping on long distances and reduce
muzzle lift for quick follow-up shots. We strongly
recommend using ear protection when shooting
with the muzzle-break.
Christensen S.A. boasts a complete range of
carbon hunting rifles, with a choice of traditional
and straight-pull actions. All our rifles come
with interchangeable barrels and in Breakdown
configuration.

CARBON COBRA
A Light, Accurate and Reliable Switch
Barrel Breakdown Rifle
The Carbon Cobra combines all the benefits of
a reliable repeating rifle within a single «Switch
Barrel» platform. This means you can have several
different caliber barrels for the same gun.
The Carbon Cobra is highly accurate, quick and
easy to handle. With a lock time of 1.6 milliseconds, the Carbon Cobra is one of the fastest rifles
on the market.
The Carbon Cobra, with its carbon stock and
carbon barrel is probably the most sophisticated rifle you can own. For maximum safety, the Carbon
Cobra’s bolt-head incorporates 6 locking lugs,
arranged in two rows of three which maximizes the
locking area in the barrel. The Carbon Cobra has
a 60° bolt throw with a sturdy finish and elegant
appearance. The accuracy of the Carbon Cobra’s
shooting is unaffected by barrel temperature.
The Carbon Cobra is a Breakdown rifle. The
barreled action and the stock are disconnected
sim-ply by undoing two screws which are captive
in the carbon stock. The Carbon Cobra can then be
stored in a 90 cm (35”) travel case.
