U STACKER STORAGE SYSTEM
Our U Stackers are a storage system for scaffold tubes and boards.
The main benefits of using a U Stacker rather than a traditional post pallet are:
- Space saving storage system of tubes and boards
- They are easily stored when not in use
- They are more cost effective, a set of our U Stackers costs less than a post pallet
- They make transportation of tube and boards easier
- Removes the need for handballing of items with the tube stackers
- U Stackers do not require banding wire, further reducing cost and time spent.
U Stackers comply with the structural design requirements of BS EN 12811 Temporary
Works Equipment and BS EN 1993-1-1:2005 Eurocode 3 Design of Steel Structures.

Two tubes are placed under hooks so that when transported the U Stackers remain
hanging onto the bundles.
It is recommended that the stackers are founded on stable and flat ground. The
stacker should be within 150 mm of the next levels stacker and placed in pairs each
within the end fifth of the stored components length.

STEP UP PLATFORM
The Step Up Platform has the unique advantage of an integrated ladder, (our steel
version is also available with a detachable ladder) which allows a safe means of
access to the platform. Step Up Platform utilises the ledger at 2 m above to provide
the scaffolder with fall protection while installing the next lift. The scaffolder is
protected by a guardrail which is already part of the scaffold structure, eliminating
the need for additional parts to be fixed.
Step Up Platform can be used in any position along the ledger, not just as a
standard. It provides protection for the scaffolder working with tube and fittings as
well as all systems using tubular ledgers. Often used in pairs, with two operatives
working together.
We offer three options on our Step Up Platform
- Aluminium Step Up Platform with integral ladder
- Steel Step Up Platform with integral ladder
- Steel Step Up Platform with detachable ladder
1. Simple hook on and off system clamps to the ledger and eliminate tipping.
Quickly released when required.
2. Non-slip working surface in durable aluminium or steel
3. Non-slip ladder rungs for maximum safety
4. Integral ladder for safe access to the platform. Our steel Step Up has an option
for a detachable ladder if this is required.
5. Adjustable swivel foot, suits all systems as well as tube and fittings. Secure
footing on any surface.
