was a project combining 2
new large additions with
the existing home. Exterior
changes include new Marvin
doors and windows, brick
veneer, shake siding and
trims, new patio, and a custom
Mahogany entry door system
with two sidelights. Interior
changes include completed
room additions while updating
the existing home. The
kitchen make-over includes
new everything – tile floor,
cabinets, sink, appliances,
fixtures, hardware, and
lighting. This is a cozy kitchen
created for easy use of the
space and visiting around the
island. Cabinets were also
installed in the guest bath/
laundry room, as well as the
master suite bath. This creates
a great deal of extra storage.
One add-on room increases
the entertainment space off
the living area to include
a wet bar and seating area
overlooking the lake. Cabinets
and lighting were added here,
too. Make sure to check out
the beautiful, one-of-a-kind
bar top by Lakeshore Design
Center. The second add-on
creates a beautiful master suite
complete with walk-in closet
and private bath with a large
tiled shower and furniture
vanity.
The home blends old and
new together with tile and
wood floors through-out.
Using the same window shade
treatments also unifies the
home’s interior. A duo of
woven wood roman shades,
vertifolds, and honeycomb
shadings, add both a softness
and texture to the room décor’.
Freshly painted walls, ceiling
fans and lighting, and furnishings bring the spaces alive.

house was another phased remodel
ready to be opened up and updated.
Phase one of this project was a new
master bathroom with a tiled shower,
floor and new cabinetry.
Phase two was removing a couple
interior walls and adding structural
beams. The space was then ready for a

This lovely home has been slowly
updated through the years by its
owners. This time, the change is visible
to all who drive by.
This complete exterior remodel
proves to be a dramatic change from
top to bottom. New dimensional
shingles for the roof and new shake
siding and trims were applied around
the home. Marvin windows and Patio
Doors installed throughout. This family
can gaze through full height windows
to enjoy the lake view and step through
the sliding doors to enjoy a new patio
entertainment area. During this process, it became apparent
that creating dormers on the both sides of the home would
allow full enjoyment of the natural light, the view, and the
bonus space for the upper level of the home. A unique barrel
dormer was added on the road side and a large shed dormer
was added to the lake side. An oval Marvin window overlooks
the stairway landing on the second floor. Buried electrical
lines and a new driveway have completed phase one of this
remodel. What a difference!
While we did help update a few things inside with the
dormer work, this transformation is best viewed from the
outside. We invite you to visit and take a stroll around. We

Join us on Jimmerson Lake. This
homeowner had long dreamed of a
larger hot tub sitting room! With a
simple home addition, a relaxing room
was created. This 12 x 14 addition was
built to enclose the owner’s hot tub.
Because of the homes style, a large
plant shelf with a Clerestory was added
where the upper outside wall rises
above the adjoining roof that contains
windows for more natural light. We
created an environment to release the
cares of the world. Relax in this room,
gaze through the new Marvin windows,
and take in the wooded scenery
overlooking the lake. Or maybe, lean back and take in the
stars through the large 4 square skylight feature in this room.
The room was completed with new tile flooring and interior
finishing.
While we were there, we updated the kitchen with a
beautiful new countertop complete with under mount sink and
fixtures. This easily blends the new with existing for a space
easily used for a peaceful evening at home or a casual party
with friends.
This was a fun project. A room- addition is a great way to
add more living space to a home. We hope you enjoy your
