hank you for your interest in the Rileyroos Fall/Winter 2012 line. The latest
trends and colors have inspired our newest and simply Wonderfall collection. As
always, the line delivers on Rileyroos developmentally friendly footwear with unique
style, comfort and ease!
I was inspired to develop Rileyroos when my oldest, Riley started crawling and
cruising. I was left wanting more when it came to the shoe choices for my daughter.
Traditionally, the most common footwear available to parents was either hard rubber
or soft leather bound soles. Hard-soled footwear contradicts what podiatrists and
pediatricians recommend, which is to keep a child as close to barefoot as possible
while the foot develops. Footwear made with soft leather soles or even leather
soles with limited rubber pads slip easily, do not protect a growing foot, and are not

What makes special?
Like walking barefoot...
Rileyroos footwear is designed for the best development of a
child’s foot using a flexible, cushioned rubber sole which allows
little feet to respond to the natural environment below them. The
sole of a Rileyroos shoe is so flexible that it can be curled into a
ball in the palm of your hand.
Protective bot toms for Indoor or Outdoor wear
Rileyroos’ lightweight construction and protective bottoms
support a child’s foot as he or she starts walking both indoors
and out. Our unique bottoms are designed with rubber inserts
extending heal to toe beneath the leather, offering greater traction
and durability than leather only soles. And the soles curl above
the toes to provide leverage as a child navigates through the early
developmental milestones – crawling, cruising and early walking.

Handmade with high quality materials
Our shoes are handmade of soft, high quality materials. Hand
stitching provides stylish accents and our simple closures allow for
easy on and off. Shoes are made of child-safe, genuine leather using
non-toxic dyes. Footwear is packaged in boxes made from 100%
recycled paper. Products have all passed testing requirements of
the US Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act.
Making a difference
Rileyroos has extended the hand of friendship supporting global
philanthropies like Soles4Souls, GottaHaveSole and organizations
