At Austro Control safety and reliability are first on the list. The company's IT
systems are therefore designed to meet the highest requirements. Austro Control
has depended on the tried and tested Oracle FORMS technology since 1993. It
is accessed by around 30 FORMS users in all six national airports and other locations. User satisfaction and acceptance is high; variances and changes to the
FORMS application were not wanted. There is no separate development department, therefore the company needed a competent partner for Oracle FORMS to
take over the complete project.

Austro Control needed to renew the hardware and the existing FORMS application could not run on the new systems. They requested us to migrate the 30
FORMS Version 3.0 to 10g quickly, cheaply and in a completely automated
manner - and not to change the views, functions and applications used to date
when doing so.

Oracle FORMS application
unchanged on new hardware.

Within 3 days the complete FORMS application was migrated with PITSS.CON
tools from 3.0 to 10g. The application was retained as desired. This meant extremely high acceptance from users. The workshop was implemented in a very
competent manner and strictly in accordance with Austro Control's requirements.
Changes by the customer were considered immediately and implemented. This
saved Austro Control a lot of time and money on the one hand and on the other
ensured absolutely problem-free and error-free operation of the IT systems and
applications.
