This innovative, new advancement in wire
wheel based surface preparation increases
productivity and provides a profiled surface
that is substantially better than wire
brushing, sanding or needle gunning.
Where surface preparation with hand-held
tools is the only option, coating adhesion
will be optimised by using the Wireblast
Tool. The portability and simplicity of
Wireblast makes it an essential for every
blasting contractor.
The Wireblast is available as a pneumatic
or an electric-powered unit.
Both of these units use a unique bristle
design that maximises the use of the
supplied power. The electric model operates
on 240V AC, while approximately 90psi of
air at 4cfm is required for the pneumatic
model.
How does it work?
With hardened tips on the end of the
spring steel bristles, which are angled for
maximum effectiveness, the rotating wheel
scours away any unwanted contaminants
on the substrate.
The design of the Wireblast allows it to not
only to be very effective on flat areas but
also to reach into tight corners.
The replaceable wire wheels are available
in 11mm and 23mm widths.
A vacuum port allows for connection to an
industrial vacuum.
