For the last thirty-two years, the International Affairs Association of the University of Pennsylvania
has hosted the annual Ivy League Model United Nations Conference (ILMUNC). This coming January,
over 3,000 motivated students will converge on downtown Philadelphia to participate in ILMUNC
33, one of the largest Model United Nations conference in the World. As one of the oldest and most
prestigious Model United Nations simulations in the country, ILMUNC provides high school students
with an unparalleled opportunity to actively study and debate the world’s most pressing issues.

Summer Opportunities Fair
The Summer Opportunities Fair provides a chance for conference attendees to explore an amazing
variety of non-profit organizations, advocacy groups, summer opportunities, internship possibilities,
and other educational and extracurricular programs. This is an opportunity for our advertising and
sponsorship partners to engage directly with students, allowing for person-to-person discussion and
distribution of materials. This event allows you to personalize your organization and its offerings,
putting a face to the brand awareness generated over the course of the conference. The floor is yours,

This year ILMUNC will be offering advertising
opportunities at its two international conferences,
ILMUNC China, occurring in Spring 2017 in Shanghai
and ILMUNC India, occurring in Fall 2016 in New Delhi.
Each conference will host around 1000 college-bound
students from the respective countries and surrounding

BUZZWORDS
DELEGATE GUIDE The 8.5x11, catalogue-style handbook
that contains all crucial information for conference
attendees. Delegates reference the handbook constantly
to find out when and where mandatory committee
sessions, social events, and other conference programs
are being held.
STAFF GUIDE The handbook distributed to all 300 Penn
students who staff the conference, including chairs of
committees.
DELEGATE DANCE The three-hour, highly-anticipated
dance attended by all delegates on Saturday night.
Music is played by a DJ, and the ballroom level of the
hotel is outfitted with club-style sound and lighting.
DELEGATE FEST A social event attended by
approximately 3,000 students on Friday night. Local
bands and Penn student comedy groups take the stage,
and delegates enjoy snacks and beverages distributed
by conference staff.
INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS ASSOCIATION The largest
student organization at the University of Pennsylvania
and the umbrella group for ILMUNC. The Penn IAA has

As a regiester 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we
have an unparalleled commitment to social impact,
supporting numerous philanthropic efforts including
our yearly Franklin Legacy Program sponsoring a new
charity every year, our scholarships for Philadelphiaarea high school students to attend ILMUNC, and our
funding of international affairs education programs in
West Philadelphia.
