Comfort with ions
[Plasmacluster]
Plasmacluster ions (both positive and negative ions) are generated to reduce odor and create a comfortable balance
of ions that resembles the fresh air in a forest or near a waterfall.
■ There are 2 modes for the plasmacluster function: clean mode and refresh mode.
Plasmacluster ions (both positive and negative ions) act on the floating mold spores, etc. that are
the source of odors and suppress their propagation.
Clean mode
The proportion of negative ions is increased and a comfortable balance of ions that resembles
the fresh air in a forest or near a waterfall is created in the toilet room.
Refresh mode
* The plasmacluster function operates to clean air continuously in clean
mode for 1 hour after the button is pressed, and then switches to
intermittent operation.
* When a person is detected, the plasmacluster function automatically
switches to refresh mode and the indicator lamp lights green. When no
person is detected, it switches to clean mode and the indicator lamp lights
blue.
* When the plasmacluster function is operating, a “chirping” sound is heard.

prevents incorrect operations.
The temperature of water and
toilet seat is adjusted constantly.
This toilet is equipped with an occupied seat sensor that
prevents water from spraying even if the button is pressed
by mistake when nobody is sitting on the toilet seat.
The temperature of the water spray is set to the level
specified by the button setting.
Temperature control in the warm water tank
* The WASH, BIDET, and DRY buttons do not
operate unless the user is sitting on the toilet seat.
* When the seat cover and/or seat lid cover are
set, the occupied seat sensor may not function
correctly.
OFF (water temperature), approx. 32°C (low) – approx. 40°C (high)
The temperature of the seat is set to level specified
by the button setting.
Seat temperature
Useful information for convenience and safety
Since the occupied seat sensor uses light reflection,
it does not function in the following cases.
OFF (room temperature), approx. 28°C (low) – approx. 40°C (high)
● If the user bends forward or sits on the front of the seat
* Change your sitting posture, for example, sit further back on the
seat.
● If the user wears black or fluffy clothes that do not reflect light easily
* Place a hand above the sensor, etc. so that the sensor can
detect the skin.
● If the sensor is dirty or wet
* Remove dirt or water.
It takes about 10 minutes to warm the water.
When the washing and/or bidet function is used for an extended time, the
temperature of the water sprayed gradually lowers to normal water temperature.
It takes about 10 minutes to warm the water.
The toilet seat and seat lid close slowly.
To prevent the toilet seat and toilet
seat lid from being lowered forcefully
by mistake, a damping mechanism
is provided to lower them gradually.
The body sensor allows you to open
the seat lid without using your hand.
This toilet is equipped with a body sensor that detects when a
person is standing in front of the toilet, and opens and closes
the toilet seat lid automatically.
The sensor detects a person standing just in front of the toilet.
* Note that the toilet seat or toilet seat lid may be
damaged if these are closed roughly or too forcefully.
* These close slowly only when the power is turned on.
* The sensor cannot detect the user and the seat lid
may not open if they stand to the side at the front of
the toilet or away from the toilet.
* The body sensor does not function correctly if dirty.
In this case, wipe the sensor with a damp soft cloth.
A low battery indicator is
provided.
The battery indicator on the remote
control unit indicates the battery
charge. Replace the batteries with
new ones as soon as possible.
* Depending on the size of the room, finishing and color (particularly a dark
color) of the wall, etc., the remote control unit may stop functioning before
the battery indicator starts flashing since the signal becomes weak.
* If a button on the remote control unit is pressed with the toilet room door
open or with the battery indicator flashing, the signal may not reach the
toilet and the specified function may not be activated.
45
If you have these problems
Water comes out from a point near the nozzles.
Condensation forms.
Water comes out from a point near the nozzles before and
after washing or when adjusting the water temperature.
This is required for the structure and is not a failure.
Due to humidity and/or differences in temperatures of the
room and the body or surface of the toilet, water droplets
(condensation) may form on the toilet or toilet body. Ventilate
the toilet room adequately to prevent condensation. If
condensation forms, wipe it off with a dry cloth.
* Condensation may stain or damage the floor.
* This toilet is designed to inhibit condensation forming, but there may be
some condensation depending on room temperature and other conditions.
* If water comes out under circumstances other than the above or
water does not stop, close the water shutoff valve and disconnect
the power plug from the wall outlet. Contact our local distributor.

Warm air smells when starting to use the toilet.
When the toilet is new, warm air may smell a little,
but this is not harmful.
The smell will disappear as you use the toilet.
Close the toilet seat lid after use.
Attach a toilet seat cover.
Do not set the temperature of the seat and water unnecessarily high.
Frequently adjust temperature to suit the seasons.
Use the power save functions, if provided, whenever possible.
If you will be gone for extended periods, be sure to turn the power off while you are away.
* Use a seat cover of the specified type and wash it
frequently to keep it clean.
* If there is any possibility of water freezing, the power
needs to be kept on, so do not disconnect the power
plug from the outlet. Activate the anti-freeze function.
( ☞ See page 66.)
Interference with radio or television
If a radio or television is brought near this toilet,
interference may occur. In this case, move the
radio or television away from this product until the
interference ceases.
Suitable cleansers
Use a neutral cleanser or similar suitable for plastics
to clean the plastic parts, such as the toilet seat and
lid.
Do not use chlorinated cleansers, acid cleansers, or
disinfecting cleansers for the toilet (ceramic parts).
For urination
Ventilate the toilet room adequately.
● When urinating while standing in front of the toilet, urine may
splash outside the bowl and soil the floor or wall. Splashing of
urine can be reduced if the toilet is used while sitting on the seat.
● Even when sitting on the seat and urinating, urine may splash
depending on where on the seat you sit or the direction you
urinate. Change the sitting position or place toilet paper in the
bowl to reduce splashing.
If the balance of ventilation in the room is inappropriate, for example,
when a large kitchen range hood is used, odor may be experienced
temporarily when flushing the toilet. Ventilate the toilet room adequately.

How to flush the toilet in event of suspended water supply
Pour a bucket (5 to 6 liters) of water into the toilet, being careful not to splash water, and flush the contents down the
toilet.
* If the contents are not completely flushed down the toilet, pour water again more quickly (all at once in a shorter time).
Finally, pour 3 to 4 liters of water into the toilet so that the water level in the bowl reaches the normal height.
(Perform the same procedures after urinating.)
[Note]
● Be very careful not to spill water onto the floor
when carrying water in a bucket or pouring
water into the toilet.
● Do not allow water to splash on the outlet.

WARNING
Cleaning the toilet seat and lid
Cleaning the toilet seat, toilet seat lid, and covers (plastic panels)
● Dampen a soft cloth and wipe the surfaces.
Why do we use a damp cloth?
If dirt is left on the surface, it will become more difficult to
remove. Wipe the surfaces frequently with a slightly dampened
soft cloth.
Wiping with a damp cloth also prevents static electricity.
Static electricity attracts dust particles, resulting in blackish
contamination.
[Note]
Avoid wiping with dry cloth or toilet paper.
* Doing so could result in scratches.
