What to do in l'Estartit
MINI-GOLF MONT-PLA
Just opposite the campsite. Mini golf, trampolines and
games. Bar with patio.
BIRD OBSERVATORY: 1 km from the campsite.
NAUTILUS: a trip around the Medes Isles where you
can discover the seascape.
GAMES: the campsite has two areas with games and
there is another next to the Tourist Information office
and on the beach in l'Estartit.
THE BEACH: l'Estartit beach is around 5 km of fine
sands and shallow waters, ideal for children. It is base
for many different scuba diving, yachting, windsurfing,
snorkelling or kayaking schools. Cleaned daily and
lifeguard service in the summer.

THE SEA AND WATER SPORTS
Below are the different activities you can enjoy in
l'Estartit. You will find further information on each
one at reception.
Kayaking: guided trips and practical classes.
Snorkelling: daytime and night time.
Scuba diving baptism: permanently supervised by
a monitor.
Nautilus: one of the best options to see the Medes
Isles and the seabed.
Marina Princess: although it also visits the Medes
Isles, we recommend this boat for a short trip to
different villages along the coast.
Corsari Negre: especially recommended for the
younger members of the family.
Fishing: only permitted on a certain part of the
beach from 15th May to 15th September between 7
p.m. and 8 a.m.

TORROELLA DE MONTGRÍ: located 5 km away, it's a
village with a thousand years of history, retaining the
flavour of its past in its dense network of Medieval
streets, plazas and buildings that will surprise you.
Weekly street market. Gothic church (14th Century).
Medieval castle.
ULLASTRET: located 15 km away, a small agricultural
village. Romanesque church, it retains part of its wall
(13-16th Century) and its Gothic “llotja” (commodities
market) with its surprisingly wide arches. To the
northwest of the village lie the ruins of an ancient Iberian
settlement (4th Century BC to 3rd Century AC), as well
as a small museum.
PALS: located 15 km away, a rustic-touristic village.
Romanesque church, it retains one of the towers of its
ancient wall, along with a charming old quarter. Weekly
street market. Golf course.
PERATALLADA: located 17 km away, an important
Medieval centre. It retains its old feudal appearance.
Castle and palace (11-14th Century), town walls (1213th Century), and Romanesque church (13th Century).
The village retains its ancient layout in its narrow streets
and provides numerous gastronomic options.

EMPÚRIES: museum of the old metropolis, first
Phoenician, then Greek and finally Roman.
Empúries
LA BISBAL D'EMPORDÀ: located 23 km away, a large
rural village with an important ceramics industry.
Medieval castle of Romanesque origin (12th Century).
Weekly street market. Its history is intertwined with the
history of the entire region. We recommend its pastry
shops.

OTHER VILLAGES: Monells and Madremanya
(alongside La Bisbal) or further afield towards the La
Garrotxa region: Besalú with its Romanesque bridge or
Castellfollit de la Roca.
DALI MUSEUM: one of the most emblematic
surrealism artists. In Figueres (39 km).
Girona
GIRONA: the cathedral, the Jewish quarter or Les
Rambles are the prettiest and most representative
parts of Girona. The Onyar River crosses the city and
gives it special charm as it passes through the historic
quarter.

Internal regulations
Internal regulations
1. Every person who gets into the Campsite is forced to fulfil this regulation.
2. From 24h. to 8h.. Period of silence. The circulation of vehicle in ALL PARTS OF THE CAMPSITE is
forbidden, except in exceptional cases of emergency (ambulance, doctor or similar).
3. Opening time of the Campsite and free circulation of vehicles from 8h. to 24h.
4. The maximum speed allowed in the Camping is of 5 Km/h.
5. Plots must be free and clean before 12h., and bungalows must be free and clean before 11h., a later
exit will suppose the payment of one extra day. To calculate the bill of the stay, we will count the number
of nights you have spent at the campsite. You can pay the bill the same departure day or some days
before. If you alter the departure dates you had booked, please notify it on the day you arrive as
otherwise you will be charged for all the days initially booked.
6. Animals admission reserved. It is necessary to have the Vaccination Record and to have them tied. It
is forbidden the entry of animals in the toilets or the swimming pool. Dogs must be ALWAYS tied, they
should get out from the Campsite to relieve themselves. They must not be left alone on the plots.
7. It would not be permitted the entrance of 16-year-old minors without the company of an adult who is
their person in charge.
8. Children below the age of 10 must always be accompanied by a responsible in all the installation of
the campsite, particularly in the toilets and the swimming pool.
9. Vehicles must be parked on the plots. Car cleaning is not permitted on the plots, should you wish to
do so, please use the car wash.
10. Visits to campers must be previously indicated at reception, the campsite reserves the right to expel
the visits that have not passed to reception. Visits are not permitted between 24h. and 8h.
11. All fires are completely forbidden where not in suitable barbecues and duly controlled. Special
attention must be paid on windy days.
12. PUT RUBBISH IN BAGS and throw them into the containers located at the entrance to the campsite,
next to reception.
13. We recommend not to leave valuable objects or large amounts of money in the caravan or tent.
14. Safes are available at reception. Campers are responsible for their own belongings: cars, caravans,
bicycles, etc.

15. In the event of wishing to use pegs longer than 30cm., please inform Reception beforehand.
16. People should respect in all moment the rest of the neighbours, specially at night.
17. We don't accept credit cards.
18. Clients should do proper use of campsite installations, leaving them in good conditions.
19. Any irregularity in the campsite operation must be communicated immediately at Reception.
20. The campsite does not accept groups, only families with a maximum of 6 persons.
21. Inside the campsite rules and in order to have a good life together:
A. Respect our flowers, bushes and trees.
B. Make rational use of water and electricity, you will contribute to the conservation of environment and
not to waste natural resources.
C. Please be discrete when handing out your washing.
D. Help us in the selective collection of waste by separating your waste according to its nature ( paper /
card, glass, plastic, cans ) and throw them into the containers used for this purpose at the entrance,
next to the Reception.
E. If you have any special waste such as fluorescent tubes, car batteries, light bulbs, bike tyres, etc., you
can inform the Campsite reception and a Campsite maintenance employee will come and collect it from
your plot.
For people not complying with these internal regulations or the logical regulations of good coexistence,
the Management reserves the right to not admit them or to have them leave the campsite.

Client compromise to leave the campsite in case of:
1. Jumping the campsite fence, that is, getting out or getting in through a point different from the
campsite entrance.
2. Not respecting the swimming pool timetable.
3. An owner of a dog should be warned several times for not complying the dog rules from the campsite.
4. Manipulation of some of the light boxes of the campsite.
5. Not maintaining a low volume on TV or music, neighbours must be able to have rest. Forbidden music
or TV apparels in outdoor seating and swimming pools.
6. Introducing persons at the camping without reception authorisation.

FAQ's
What are the hours of our reception desk?
Reception is open from 9:00 to 21:00 from March 31 to September 30. You can check in
from 9:00 in the morning until 23:30 at night (from 21:00 to 23:30 the check-in is
provisional and confirmation the next day is required).
Do we accept credit cards?
No, only cash. However, in the village there are different banks with automatic teller
machines.
How far is the campground from the sea?
We are located 1 km from the beach.
How do I get to the campground from the Barcelona airport?
The best way is to go by train (www.renfe.es) to Girona and then catch a bus that stops
directly in front of the campground (www.ampsa.org).
How do I get to the campground from the Girona airport?
We have two options. The first: catch a shuttle bus that leaves approximately every hour to
the bus station in Girona and then the regular bus line that takes you to the campground
(www.ampsa.org). The second: take a taxi, the Girona airport is 50 km away, the price of a
taxi in 2007 was 69 euros.
How can I rent a car?
We work with a car rental agency and can handle all of the arrangements at reception. Two
requirements: you must be at least 21 years of age and have a credit card.
What are the bungalows equipped with?
The bungalows have kitchen utensils. Fully equipped kitchen including a refrigerator. They do
not include: sheets, towels or toiletries. We have sheets available for rental. They also have
air-conditioning (supplement).
Are their cribs for babies?
We have some in the laundry area; ask for one when you make your reservation (we do not
have sheets for the cribs).
Can I reserve a specific campsite?
We do not reserve specific campsites although we always try to accommodate the
preferences of our customers.
Can we bring a second car to the campsite?
As long as space is available in the campsite; if not, it will be necessary to leave it in the
parking area beside the reception area; the maximum number of persons per campsite is 6.
