CHANGE, Inc. Announces the Winners
of the 2014 Paint the Valley Pink Campaign
WEIRTON, WV – CHANGE, Inc. is pleased to announce the 2014 Paint the Valley Pink winners. For the
past few years, CHANGE, Inc. has hosted a similar event known as Paint the Town Pink, which included
the city of Weirton, but this year, they expanded it to include Hancock and Brooke Counties in West
Virginia, along with Jefferson County, Ohio.
“Our goal was to reach out to area businesses to help educate our residents about the importance of having
annual screenings for early detection of breast cancer,” said Judy Raveaux, CEO of CHANGE, Inc. “We
are happy to report that 75 local businesses in eleven communities throughout the Ohio Valley took on the
challenge.”
CHANGE, Inc’s Board of Directors, management and staff of CHANGE, Inc. would like to thank the
mayors, and/or their designated representative, for not only making the tough decision of selecting the
winner, but agreeing to participate in their respective community. The winners were presented a crafted
pink ribbon, compliments of Mr. Dave Petrosky and his daughter, Renee.
Again, CHANGE, Inc. would like to thank those who participated and for bringing breast cancer
awareness to the Ohio Valley.
