Cross Valley Connections Employee Newsletter ISSUE 3 July 2007 Groundbreaking Ceremony Marks Cross Valley Federal Credit Union Sixth Branch Location A groundbreaking ceremony to mark the beginning of construction for Cross Valley Federal Credit Union’s Forty Fort Branch was held Saturday, June 23, 2007 on the site of the new location at the corner of Wyoming Avenue and Ransom Street, Forty Fort. “Today marks a significant milestone for Cross Valley Federal Credit,” said John Monico, Vice President of Operations, Cross Valley FCU during the ceremony. “As we break ground today, we are not just moving forth with a construction project but rather we are moving ahead to provide this community and its members with an added arm of support and a trusted friend that they can depend on to provide them with affordable financial services.” The Cross Valley Federal Credit Union Team, adorned with shovels and hardhats, broke ground for Forty Fort Branch, June 23, 2007. Cars, Trucks & SUVS Cross Valley Federal Credit Union was joined by long-time members Luzerne County Commissioner Rose Tucker, and Frankie Warren who shared remarks with the crowd. Rev. Dr. William Lukesh, of the Forty Fort Presbyterian Church performed the ceremony’s invocation. Construction on Cross Valley FCU’s Forty Fort branch is scheduled to be completed in October 2007. A special thanks to all of the staff who supported us as we prepared for this great event, and also to those of you who were able to attend the ceremony. Together, we were able to show our current and future members that we aren’t just another building, but rather that we plan to become a major part of their community as well. Have You Heard?
