October 2014 The Athletic Department would like to thank the following sponsors: (Flory Landscaping, The Farmers State Bank, First Rate Industries, Reid Orthopedics, Hollinger Excavating, Brumbaugh Fruit Farm, Tri-Village Athletics, Indiana University East, Red Front Inn, Coblentz Agency, and Laux Seed Solutions LLC.) If you are dropping your student off to start the school day, please use the right hand lane for drop-offs, and feel free to make use of the entire sidewalk area for your student to have access to the building. This will streamline our drop-off process, and allow for parents to use the left lane to exit safely from the school property. Please do not drop your student off while utilizing the left lane, as this forces them to cross traffic, and hinders the flow of exiting vehicles. Please do not use the left lane to gain access to the right lane. Parents should not use the New Madison Community Center for drop offs Because of you we were able to add scoreboards to our Students who walk to school from the north baseball and softball fields while upgrading our basket- of New Madison, should use the circular ball scoreboard. Thank you for supporting this project. sidewalk adjacent to the turnaround, which will keep them separate from the flow of vehicle traffic. Should a student need to cross a flow of street traffic, please encourage them to use painted crosswalks to ensure safety. We encourage any student who can walk to school to do so if the weather allows, as to alleviate potential traffic issues, and create a safer environment for our children. On October 1st Tri-Village and Mississinawa Valley students from the MD classrooms traveled to Chenoweth trails for an overnight camping experience. The students participated in several outdoor activities including hiking on the many trails, a nature scavenger hunt, crafts using nature elements and a game of kickball on the astroturf. The students explored the woods at night and watched a movie under the stars. Thank you to the Matt Light Foundation for providing the facility and grounds for the event. The Boys Basketball team will be facing Russia out of the Shelby County League at the 2015 Flyin’ to the Hoop Event. The Patriots will take on the Raiders on Saturday, January 17th at 10:00 A.M. Tickets will go on sale at Tri-Village High School toward the middle of November so stay tuned for more details. Tri-Village does receive a portion of the ticket sales purchased at the school. 2014-2015 Varsity Girls Basketball 11/28 Bill Burkett Tourney H 12:00 jv 6:00 v 11/29 Bill Burkett Tourney H 12:00 jv 12/4 6:00 v Mississinawa Valley * A 5:30 5:30 1:00 Fall Sports Banquet 11/6 @ 7:00 p.m. Early Release 11/6 6:00 8:00 12/30 Patriot Holiday Tourney H 1/2 Arcanum * H TBA 6:00 Thanksgiving Break 11/26-11/28 H * H A * A 6:00 6:30 6:00 5:30 Bill Burkett BB Tournament 11/28-11/29 A 10:00 Newton New Bremen 12/15 12/20 12/22 12/27 Houston Barn Ball Classic Barn Ball Classic Bethel H 5:30 A TBA A TBA * H 12:00 1/3 1/9 1/10 1/16 Miami Valley School Bradford Miamisburg Twin Valley South 1/3 1/8 Covington Miami East * H 12:00 * A 5:30 1/17 Flyin’ to the Hoop Vs.
