Annual Report - Tranquil Shores Foundation
2014
Annual Report
A Message From Our Leadership
Life can be complicated and
sometimes children are dealt
situations that are not of their
choice or doing. During these
times, it is important to be there
for one another; especially our
children. This is what the Tranquil Shores Children’s Foundation is all about. Being there for
children and families; especially
those whose lives have been
touched by substance abuse or
addiction. We are the type of
organization that understands
the cycle of addiction and offers
compassion and hope. It is a
privilege to be able to serve as
the founding Chairman of the
Board of this amazing community organization. Thank you very
much for your support!
Chad Johnson
Chairman of the Board
“This is really a
great thing you do
for families. There
should be more
people like you.
Thank you!”
Mother in recovery with a 4yr old
recipient of a Healing HeART Kit
When I look back at our accomplishments in 2014, I couldn’t be
more proud. We approached
our work with a sound understanding of child development,
listened to families, and took
action. Most importantly, we
helped to heal and saw measurable change in the lives of the
children and families we served.
to our Board Members for their
wisdom & support, our donors,
volunteers, community partners
& staff. It is an honor & a privilege to lead this dynamic
organization along side you all.
This labor of love could not have
been possible without Mr. Chad
Johnson who had the heart and
dedication necessary to make
the vision of the Tranquil Shores
Children’s Foundation a reality.
A heartfelt thank you also goes

2014 Accomplishments
For many parents with substance use disorders and for caregivers of
children affected by substance abuse or addiction; isolation, anger,
fear, embarrassment, and feelings of abandonment are all real. For
children, these same emotions are complex and even harder to
manage without support. At the Tranquil Shores Children’s
Foundation we believe that families are resilient, prevention efforts
help, treatment is effective, and that there is hope in recovery!

2014 Board, Staff,
