As of the end of July, the 2016 Championship “Chase”
is in full swing. Some drivers have been eliminated already. The “race

within a race” is a challenge that the Late Model and Sportsmen
drivers are competing for. The winner will receive a trophy showcasing a driver’s
accomplishments (see photo to right). Drivers are eliminated each week according
to finishing position. It will be down to a maximum of four drivers eligible on
October 6th at Oktoberfest to determine the champion!

compete in the Saturday, September 3rd Enduro 200.
This race is a caution-free race on the quarter mile track for 4- and 6-cylinder cars. Not only is
it fun to watch for fans, but it’s a fun race to compete in as well. Racing starts at 7:30. For rules,

The remainder of the 2016 racing season will continue to be impacted
by road construction. WIS Hwy 16, between Onalaska and West
O VE
Salem has had extensive work done to make it a 4-lane divided
highway from Onalaska. The closure is now complete and one lane of traffic
is now open in each direction. Work will continue through October until the
project is complete. The alternative is always available: I-90 to West Salem’s
Exit 12, then West on “C” and North on “M.”
