Mike has also worked as part of the Easter Seals Telethon, served for nine years as Chairman of the Board for Citizens Against Domestic Violence, and has worked with the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction as the presenting sponsor. Angie worked with these organizations and fundraisers as a volunteer and has also served on the Board of Directors and as Past President of the local chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors. During their leisure time the Terrys enjoy boating, golfing, dining out and visiting with friends and family. “The Lake is a great place with the natural beauty of the Ozarks, the friendly people and a lifestyle that can be anything you want it to be,” Mike says. “We have seen so many changes in the last ten years and I expect to see continued growth. Its 6,431 yards include six par three holes, six par fours, and six par fives. In other words, bring your best, short, middle and long games. Green fees for the par 72 course vary throughout the year but are very affordable. From April 30-Sept 30 they are $58 weekdays and $60 weekends for 18 holes. Twilight rates during this same “prime season” period are $38 and $40. First off is The Ridge course. Having opened in 1991, the 18 hole, par 72, Ken Kavanaugh design is considered by many to be “playerfriendly.” However, that does not translate to “easy.” In fact, Golf Digest has ranked Season’s Ridge as a 4-star course for “places to play.” Amenities include a 4,000 square foot clubhouse featuring a pro-shop and “The Grill.” The course is open year round, and rates vary dependent upon the time of year. Course number two at Four Seasons, the Lodge’s signature course, is The Cove. Designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones, this is an 18 hole, par 71 course that includes an amazing 65 bunkers. (Literally) Osage National’s original 18 holes were designed by golf icon Arnold Palmer in 1992. Since that time another nine have been added, making for an amazing 27 holes of golf with a wide variety of playing conditions. This is the “must play” course at the Lake for the golf aficionado, and yet another fine course given 4-stars by Golf Digest magazine. The facility features golf lessons, video analysis of your swing, golf and lodging packages, rental equipment, a full service restaurant and bar, and (added just this year) a snack bar at the turn for the second nine. It is challenging enough for the scratch golfer, but also very playable for a golfer with a higher handicap. Tanglewood offers challenging holes, beautiful scenery and a nice pace of play for golfers. The front nine offers three holes with water hazards, two lengthy par fives and two part threes. The back nine has a mixture of links and tree-lined holes, including the reachable par five 17th hole with a peninsula green.
