RHIZOMATOUS TALL FESCUE
CHARACTERISTICS AND RECOMMENDED USES:
Greenhorizons Turf-type Tall Fescue is an exclusive blend of semi-rhizomatous Tall Fescue that
produces a dense, non-spreading stand of dark green turf requiring little fertility or irrigation. GHG
Turf-type tall fescue is ideal for municipal or residential applications where limited fertilizer and
water inputs are a factor. This turf has excellent heat and drought resistance and is enhanced with
endophytes to resist insect pests. It is known to be wide bladed and dark green in colour.
IDEAL APPLICATIONS:
• Low-to-medium traffic, non-irrigated golf course areas
• Non-irrigated parks
• Roadsides or water-restricted communities
AVAILABLE FORMATS:
• Small rolls (24 inches wide, 5 feet long)
& up to 700 square feet per skid
• Big rolls (42 inches wide, 80 feet long)
& up to 15,400 square feet per truckload
