We’ve entered into the 2nd quarter of 2011 and had a very favourable start with growth in occupancy, heavy bookings for meetings, seminars and events. Our focus for the year is to continuously emphasise on training our associates in customer service and building relationships, thereby providing an unparalleled service to our esteemed guests. Thank you to my team who has given me their undivided support to achieve our main goal at Pulai Springs Resort (PSR), which is to be one of the best resorts in this region. The 1st quarter of 2011 has been a busy period for us. We hosted media representatives on a familiarisation trip to the resort on 14-15 January 2011. It was a huge success, with the media representatives truly enjoying their event-filled stay. They were kept busy throughout their visit with a series of activities that included golf, swimming, aerobics, yoga, movies, cycling and endless indulgence at our F&B outlets. This was closely followed by the Chinese New Year festival that was indeed very hectic with weddings, dinners, reunion dinners and Lion Dance performances. We are extremely thrilled to share news of our recent achievement, being voted as one of the Top 20 Golf Courses in Malaysia by golfers throughout the country as well as Golf Malaysia magazine readers. The prestigious award presentation was hosted by Kota Permai Golf & Country Club, Selangor, and the poll was conducted by Golf Malaysia magazine. It is our promise to continue to constantly upkeep our golf course to world-class standards, by continuously improving the landscape, services and facilities for the benefit of our members and guests. When it comes to Food & Beverage happenings at PSR, come and experience the myriad of activities we have scheduled. Look out for our first ever ‘Secretaries’ Week Luncheon’ happening on 12 April 2011 at Dewan Kencanapuri featuring Malaysia’s versatile singer ‘Ferhad’. Take this opportunity to not only treat your secretaries but include your office administrators, friends and families to this amazing gala luncheon, plus grab a chance to win attractive lucky draw prizes. Tickets are priced at RM170 Nett for Platinum seats and RM150 Nett for Gold seats. For ticket reservations, please call us at 07-521 2121. If you like music with your food, relax and unwind at the Elephant & Castle where you can listen to our live in-house band, D’Hurricane, performing nightly. Also, there’s no denying we have numerous Food & Beverage outlets featuring scrumptious selections of dishes to satisfy almost every palate, so drop by of an evening and try out what’s being served in our award winning restaurants. Whether you are planning golf trips, organising corporate meetings, seminars, team building activities or even vacationing with your family and loved ones, look no further as Pulai Springs Resort offers not only golf, but excitement beyond the fairways. Explore the resort and soak up the endless activities at our sports & recreation area, spa treatments, movies, or if you are looking for some down-time, simply indulge yourself lying by the pool. Lastly, I would like to thank all our valued guests and members for your continuous support and for making us your preferred resort. The ritual dance featured a 15-member team with cymbals, drums with two lions in striking gold, purple and blue costumes that dipped and twirled, making unmistakably feline movements to frighten evil spirits away and attract good luck to the premises. For the climax of the lion dance, guests and visitors gathered in the lobby area to capture the performance on camera. Tengku Ahmad Faizal, the General Manager said, “Malaysia is diverse in its cultural aspects and race. The lion dance performance promotes both the traditional harmony of Malaysia while respecting each other’s beliefs and values.” Faces of Pulai Springs Resort To discover the numerous perks attached to our wedding packages or for wedding banquet enquiries and reservations, please call: PO Box 29, 81930 Bandar Penawar, Johor, Malaysia Tel: (607) 822 2222 Fax: (607) 822 2223 E-mail: [email protected] Cultural Lion Dance Performance Why Attend? * Ticket prices are RM1,800 per table and RM5,000 for the premium table.
