N60° STORY
After scouring over 125 different destinations, we have
chosen the first race as IGO N60° - The Norwegian Challenge.
IGO N60 is imbedded in the heart of central Norway, a land
synonymous with adventure and home to the Heroes of
Telemark raid. The locals share the same passions as IGO
and the terrain selected is a place of untamed wilderness
and immense natural beauty. It is the location for British
Special Forces training and where Scott trained for his final
expedition, this is a snow-kissed paradise that has earned
the respect of countless polar explorers. The route, designed
by our head guide Rune Abrahamsen, allows the competitors
to explore the best of this incredible landscape between the
towns of Hemsedal and Geilo.
THE 4 STAGES ARE:
DAY 1: TOURING SKI AND DOWNHILL SKI
DAY 2: MARATHON FAT BIKE (FOLLOWED BY HUSKY DOGSLED)
DAY 3: MARATHON CROSS-COUNTRY SKI
