Tradition ahead:
all clear for setting sail.
The morning mist shrouds the horizon in mystery, blurring the boundaries
between the sky and the sea. The sun sends sparkling reflections dancing
across the water. But what is that thing glittering down there? Shimmering
fish scales? Or a mermaid who has fallen asleep in the net below
the jib boom?
On a Windjammer your imagination is easily drawn to the net, which is
spun from sailor‘s yarn. This too is a part of the tradition, like the warmly
gleaming teak, like the ropes, like every manual operation, every command,
and every step taken on the ropes. Real seamanship calls for perfection
and discipline – but for passion above all. From the captain right down to
the youngest member of the crew, the team‘s enthusiasm is catching.
The small community of guests on board comes to be joined with them
in spirit, admiring their demonstration of skill – when they climb the
rigging heavenwards, when they pull or lash cables or when the heavy
sailcloth fall from the yard. Every sea mile you travel takes you out into

Muted laughter wafts down from the lido deck. Glasses clink at the bar. The
sun takes its fiery farewell, and leaves to the moon a silvery shimmering
canopy of stars. The magic of a Windjammer night begins.
Stars and sea travel go together. Once the stars showed ships the way to go
through the night. They translate romantic spirits into distant spheres, and
today they have come to designate a different kind of position specification:
they provide a standard of class and style. So in the nature of things it is
no surprise that the five stars of our ships should shine with particular
brilliance in the evening. Every course is a skilful temptation to the palate,
the sommelier pours out noble liquors and the service reaches a pitch of
formal perfection. You have free choice of a table, enabling you to enjoy indepth conversations or forge new contacts. Our kitchen team specialises in
refined combinations. Fresh, fine and light, and with plenty of variety, the
kitchen service continues right through every day and into the night – with
light barbecues on deck, the select four-course restaurant menu and the
festive Captain’s Dinner.
If you like, you can round up the evening with a glass of champagne at the
ship‘s rail, with a moonlight stroll along the deck or a cocktail in the lido

Marble fireplaces with applications in bronze and brass, masts below deck
disguised as pillars, golden water taps, prestigious mahogany benches
that might have come from a nostalgic resort promenade – wherever you
go, SEA CLOUD gives evidence of the extravagant taste of its first owners
and of a time that became history long ago. But it goes without saying that
the incomparable atmosphere of the legendary private yacht is more than
just the sum of all its authentic details going back to the year 1931.
The eccentric preferences of the yacht‘s builders, the millionaire couple
Marjorie Merriweather Post and Edward Francis Hutton, form a stylish
backdrop that ennobles any voyage you make. Against the glory of a past
era, the relaxed feeling you get on board becomes even more exclusive.

Caribbean coastlines and
an archipelago of dreams.
The bay seems to embrace the sea, and its reception committee of green
palms bows their heads in the most graceful way imaginable. The spotlessly
white beach dazzles the eye, and all the coloured fishing boats are being
gently rocked into a noonday sleep by the lapping water. Did Columbus
see something like this when he made landfall in the Caribbean?
Columbus, colonial rulers and the thunder of cannon – they have all
gone the way of history. Spanish grandeur has perpetuated itself in the
architecture of Cuba, French and British elements have mingled in the
Lesser Antilles, and in Belize and Mexico the heritage of the Maya has
been rescued from the jungle and from oblivion. What remains? People of
many different origins are typical of the Caribbean scene today – relaxed
and high-spirited for the most part.
Nature too has been delighted to make its contribution. Dominica, St. Lucia,
the British Virgin Islands and the Grenadines owe their magic to the
volcanoes. Many beaches, like the Tobago Cays, Anguilla and the famous
reef off Roatan, would not exist if it were not for the coral. SEA CLOUD
and SEA CLOUD II love to spread their sails along all these delightful
coasts. If Columbus were still with us today, he might well write in his log
book once again: “The most beautiful sight ever seen by man.”

An azure sky, an emerald green sea, a deckchair in the
shade and short trips to the railing – there can hardly
be a more relaxed way to arrive.
Cabrits/Dominica
Sun., 3rd day
Drop anchor: 07.00 hours. Between 1770 and 1845 the
volcanic peninsula around Cabrits was an important
strategic location, with a large fortress guarding the
coastline. Later Nature reconquered its former territory. The area is now a tropical green paradise called
Cabrits National Park*. Today Fort Stanley is reminiscent of a picturesque set in an adventure film playing
in the jungle.
Drop anchor: 21.00 hours. The SEA CLOUD II will be mooring in a sheltered bay on the main island. This small
group of islands was named by its discoverer, Columbus, who arrived here on All Saints Day and christened
the islands Los Santos.

The morning offers the opportunity to discover the
small island of Terre-de-Haut independently. Fort Napoleon is perched above the bay and the small town of
Grand Bourg. Iguanas sun themselves on the walls of
the old fortress and the museum documents the skirmishes between the British and French in days gone
by. Alternatively take the road to an attractive island
beach: Plage de Pompierre. Lift anchor: 13.30 hours

take us to Nelson’s Dockyard*. Where once the famous
admiral had his fleet of ships made seaworthy are today an exclusive marina; open-air museum and small
shops in the converted workshops.
Road Bay/Anguilla

Drop anchor: 08.00 hours. Anguilla is a Caribbean
exception: originated from a coral reef even though
there is no volcano anywhere in sight. There are,
however, over 30 beautiful beaches dotted around the
island and a particularly laid-back atmosphere, making
it possible for visitors to make their own discoveries at
their own pace.

Drop anchor: 13.30 hours. The name already gives
away the bay’s attraction: a wonderful snow white
beach, perfect for a day at the beach.

Drop anchor: 08.00 hours. Soufrière is sleepy in the
best sense of the word and is picturesquely framed
by the backdrop of the Pitons, the famous twin volcanoes. Our shore excursion* will take us to the volcanic
sulphur springs and the botanical gardens.
Spanish Town/Virgin Gorda

Drop anchor: 08.00 hours. While the SEA CLOUD II
cruises to the island’s main town we will be beginning
our shore excursion in the “The Bath” national park*.
This is a very special stretch of coastline. Granite cliffs,
eroded into bizarre shapes over the course of time,
form a natural labyrinth both above and below water.

the shore excursion.
Gustavia/St. Barthélemy

Drop anchor: 08.00 hours. While St. Barthélmy, usually
just called St. Barth, may have been discovered by Columbus it was the French who colonized it, 150 years
later. St. Barth may well be the Caribbean’s most elegant island. Anyone looking for exclusive remoteness
will find undisturbed peace and time to stroll here. The
island has some twenty beaches and attractive landscapes to offer visitors. Gustavia’s exquisite restaurants,
bars and chic boutiques, located in beautifully restored
old warehouses, are an additional attraction.

The crew will be climbing up into the shrouds. The
SEA CLOUD II will unfurl its sails and glide towards
another island beauty under the power of the wind.

Drop anchor: 13.00. Bequia, while the largest of the
Grenadine islands, is still only 18 square kilometres in
size. The colourful main town, Port Elizabeth, can be
discovered quickly. On our island walk we will be visiting a turtle farm* on the other side of the island or
you can simply enjoy the afternoon at Princess Margaret Beach.

to him explain the modern instruments, have a

Drop anchor: 14.00 hours. Many claim that the notorious pirate Henry Morgan, the curse of the Caribbean, buried a treasure on Roatán. Our island
tour* takes us to the far eastern shores, where the
Garifuna live, the descendents of the native peoples
of the Caribbean. Their language, dance and music
were declared to be among the oral and intangible
heritages of humanity by UNESCO.

Of course the kitchen has some culinary masterpieces
in mind for this Christmas day at sea.

Arrival: 08.00 hours. It wasn’t until the 17th century
that Belize City was settled. Of special interest are the
Fort George district and one very charming curiosity:
the only bridge in the world that is still operated daily
by hand. Our island tour leads to Altun Ha, a village
from the age of the Mayas*. Departure: 18.00 hours

The white sails will be snapping and cracking, the
sun will be smiling and the windjammer will be
gliding proudly and majestically over the waves:
we’re on our way to Mexico.
Playa del Carmen/Mexico
Sun., 28th Dec.
Drop anchor: 08.00 hours. Our excursion takes us to
Chichén Itzá*. In the centre of this famous site stands
a step pyramid with 365 individual stairs. Twice a
year, on the days of the Equinox, only a part of the
structure is lit by the sun, thus bearing witness to the
astronomical genius of the Mayas, as the light creates
the silhouette of the “plumed serpent”.

Time for New Year’s resolutions? Looking backwards
and forwards as the year winds down? Who knows
– maybe beautiful views should be enjoyed and not
questioned.

many a fascinating spectacle.

including the historical city centre, you’ll see
monuments of historical architecture, an old Spanish
castle and the harbour fortress, not to mention old
men playing dominoes in narrow alleys, the Malecón
flirt boulevard and classic American old-timer cars.

Jim Fazio. Some holes pursue an oblique trajectory

With its spectacular panoramic views, this is one of the
most beautiful golf courses in the Caribbean, and makes
challenging demands even on experienced golfers.

100 years building the fortress on Brimstone Hill*,
the destination of our shore excursion. It is still

to everything which is exclusive and elegant today.

popular anchorage for exclusive private yachts.

Our excursion will be taking us to an attraction:
“The Bath”*. This bathroom on a snow white beach
is structured by granite rock formations. They form a
system of grottos, small channels and inlets.
The SEA CLOUD will cruise in the Sir Francis Drake
Cannel, named after the famous buccaneer. He
was one of the few whose pirating activities were
granted the unofficial royal seal of approval by the
British crown.
Drop anchor: 19.00 hours. An independent shore excursion could take you on a visit to Foxy’s Bar. It is
famous for its roaring parties in Caribbean time.

You will have to make a decision in the morning:
either you head for Fort Napoleon or you go to the
island beach of Plage de Pompierre for a swim.
Wed., 30th Dec.
Drop anchor: 08.00 hours. This famous island with
its twin volcanoes will show you two faces during
our island excursion*: the botanical gardens are
awash with tropical colour; the sulphur springs have
covered the ground in yellows.

a stylish and lively way to say farewell to the old year
and to welcome in the new one.

frequently between the ship in Admiralty Bay and

smooth children’s marbles. After dinner on board you

takes its name from a Dutch pirate. It is still possible
today to find a good hiding place at White Bay, one of

– almost everything you will encounter on a stroll

Drop anchor: 18.00 hours. Virgin Gorda is both an elegant meeting place for yachtsmen and somewhere to
unwind. The Bitter End Yacht Club, a favourite haunt
of skippers, is well known.

Over a period of thousands of years the elements
have created a natural labyrinth of cliffs from smooth
granite blocks gathered in picturesque groups both in
the sea and on shore. It is called “The Bath” and offers
the perfect opportunity to swim and marvel.
The SEA CLOUD will cruise through the Sir Francis
Drake Channel.
Drop anchor: 19.00 hours. Foxy’s Bar is legendary
throughout the Caribbean and a favourite haunt of
many visitors. Foxy has been mixing cocktails here
since 1968 and even brews his own beer.

be one of the most beautiful bays in the British Virgin
Islands.

the time when the island was a Swedish colony: the
French simply sold it to the Swedes. Some one hundred years later they bought St. Barthélemy back. Today
the attractive harbour port is a paradise for elegant

wind which wants to fill the canvas with life. The first
setting of the sails on the high seas gives rise to a
time-honoured tradition on board. Everyone gathers
on deck and listens to the officers’ explanations of
this drama in several acts. When the crew climb up
into the rigging and balance across the ropes to their
positions high up in the sky it is not uncommon for
the spectators down below to hold their breath. The
crew’s practised hands will unfurl the heavy sails,
which unroll with a loud noise – until they catch the
wind. A gentle shudder will run through the ship: the
elements are in control now.

The generous space on deck makes it easy to find
ever changing vantage points from which to follow
the crew’s work at close quarters. The time on deck

high, snow white chalk cliff. The climb up the steps
to the upper town is well worth the effort. Because
the visit will take you to the winding alleys of the old
town, which nestles behind fortress walls and has
preserved its centuries old appearance. Numerous
small shops; idyllic cafés and small piazzas invite
you to stop and rest a while.

us to the Costa Smeralda and its elegant main town

an amphitheatre, looks out across the sea into the
far distance. Our excursion to Philippi* will take us
way back into history. Archaeological excavations
have revealed an ancient city which was a political
and economic centre. Today’s village has a religious
significance thanks to the visit of the Apostle Paul.
We will also be visiting the site of the baptism of the
holy Lydia, located nearby. It was on this spot that
Europe’s first baptism took place.
In the evening we will be cruising to the Greek
orthodox Monastic Republic of Agion Oros
(the Holy Mountain), which is perched on the
holy mountain of Athos and is a UNESCO World
Heritage site.

to a landscape which existed long before our time.

on this unique 18-hole golf course. Against a backdrop of
spectacular and breathtaking scenery overlooking th Bay
of Lagos, Frank Pennink has designed an unforgettable
golf course. Five of the holes are placed on the sand dunes
with the fifth, a par-5 of 550 metres making the hole a real
challenge. At present there are no villas lining the fairways
so the feeling of openness as you play is very refreshing.

Lisbon: Penha Longa Golf Club
On Thursday, 12th November, you will be playing on
this breathtakingly beautiful course. It is situated in
the middle of a nature reserve, and is surrounded by
mountains and sea. The design, by the famous architect
Robert Trent Jones II, takes full advantage of the
unevenness of the terrain, and you have wonderful
views of the glorious landscape at all times. The first and
last three holes are in a valley surrounded by pine trees
and granite cliffs; the other holes are situated on a hill.
Professional golfers rate this championship course as one
of the best in Europe. (PAR 72, maximum handicap 28).
Madeira: Clube de Golf Santo da Serra
On Sunday, 15th November, you can look forward to
playing on one of the most remarkable mountainous
golf courses in Europe, near Funchal on the island
of Madeira. It is situated at a height of 500 metres
above sea level, offers fantastic views over the sea,
and was designed by Jones. The delightful course is
laid out on extremely uneven ground, surrounded by
luxurious vegetation. Creating it was a challenge, and
the highlight of the course, hole 4 on the Machico
Course, is still the star turn. It has par 3 (181 metres),
and involves a shot to the green across a ravine that
is heavily overgrown with vegetation. Since 1993 this
course has been the venue of the Open Ilha da Madeira,
the opening tournament of the European golfing
season. (PAR 72, maximum handicap 36).

goal of our overland excursion planned for today,
is situated at the foot of Mount Teide, Teneriffe‘s
famous volcano. Millions of years ago a volcano have
been active here which would make Teide look like a
molehill. Its imposing remains – consisting of petrified
lava, brightly coloured volcano ash and steep crater
walls – resemble a moon landscape.

Teneriffe: Buenavista Golf Course
The last game of the trip will take place on Tuesday,
17th November, on this course that was designed by
Ballersteros. It is situated in the northwest of the island,
bordered by the Teno Massif and the Atlantic Ocean. The
fairways make use of the natural features of the terrain,
and have regard to the authentic vegetation of this
climatic zone. The central waterscape, located between hole
9 and hole 18, involves a succession of linked waterfalls and
makes a spectacular sight. (PAR 72, maximum handicap 36).

The North is blossoming:

The magical light in the sky of Russia‘s famous ‚white nights‘ has the
effect of an iridescent opal. All the golden cupolas gleam as if they have

Peter the Great, building this city meant an opening to the West, heralding
Russia‘s entry into the world of the European great powers. It was closed
to the West for almost a hundred years. Now it is accessible once more:

In the four Scandinavian countries of Denmark, Norway, Sweden and
Finland, and especially in their friendly capitals, the weeks around the
summer solstice are likewise the occasion of numerous festivals. The land
seems more open, the sea more expansive, and the sky higher. The North
blossoms, and is refreshingly festive.
In Bruges in Belgium, Tallinn in the Baltic and Visby in Sweden, you
can enjoy romantic insights into a period when trade first forged strong
links between the countries of Northern Europe. Where cogs once anchored
and Hanseatic counting houses stood, the Middle Ages come across as a
proud, wealthy, bourgeois and god-fearing era – with Gothic churches,

White sails and the vast expanse
of the sea: crossing the Atlantic.
As the sun gets further and further away from Europe, the eagle on the bow
of our Windjammers becomes a majestic bird of passage. Its goal is the
Caribbean, and it follows the route taken in former times by generations
of discoverers, conquerors and adventurers. The trade wind takes charge,
directing the commands and manoeuvres. In more than 500 years, the work
on board has changed hardly at all.
Young men and women from all countries of the world are adept in handling
the running and standing rigging. They climb to dizzy heights, and every
step on the lashing, every grip on the ropes, must be just right. It is a
breathtaking performance when more than twenty white sails are hoisted
in the traditional way. It conjures up a time that you thought fallen into
oblivion, when majestic sailing ships conquered the oceans of the world.
But in those days it was just the wind that swelled the sails. Now you have
romantic atmosphere as well, which joins with the imagination on the
decks of SEA CLOUD and SEA CLOUD II to make your deck chair the navel
of the world, for many lazy days – an observation post where you can
watch the clouds and the waves. Freedom is coextensive with the horizon.

French island of St. Barthélemy was perhaps the most
peaceful place in the Caribbean. Because in a period
of colonial turbulence the island was Swedish from
1785 to 1877 – and thus neutral. The main town
was christened in honour of King Gustav III and its
architecture has a touch of the Nordic. Since the
Rockefellers discovered the island in the 20th century
it has become a particularly exclusive Caribbean
destination. Everything today is very select and
elegant. On an independent shore excursion you
will find it worth your while to explore the historic
warehouses around the harbour bay. Attractive cafés

Our windjammer will cruise northwards for three days,
headed for the Bermudas.
The horizon is wide. The sails have been set. For sea

Arrival: 13.00 hours. The Bermudas are a group of
islands which still belong to the overseas colonies of
the United Kingdom of Great Britain. And sometimes
life here seems to be almost more traditional and British
than in the motherland. The Bermudas are actually seven
larger islands connected by bridges and causeways.
On a tour around these islands* you will see British
stately homes and plantation houses – often framed
by accurately cut hedges; rugged coastlines and ever
changing views out to sea.

Some 2.000 sea miles lie between the Bermudas and
the island archipelago of the Azores. Entertaining
lectures will provide you with new perspectives and
stimulate you to exchange thoughts. There is much to
be discovered between the library and the sun deck,
but it is sailing with all its facets which is at the centre
of this cruise.
Our tall ship will have time to prove herself. The crew
will be able to demonstrate their skills day after day.
This is a demanding course which allows true seamanship to come to the fore. Dead calm, wave troughs,
following winds – you’ll never be closer to life than
when sailing on this route. Nature gains strength.

Horta/Faial/Azores
Mon., 12th Apr.
Arrival: 09.00 hours. The Gulf Stream will almost
automatically carry anyone coming from the Bermudas
to Faial. Horta is thus a popular meeting place for
sailing enthusiasts, in particular for friends of the
transatlantic crossing from west to east. The very
harbour walls offer a unique feature: many sailors
have immortalised themselves with a painting here
– a picture gallery dedicated to the god of wind and
seaman’s tales.
For some the Azores archipelago is submerged Atlantis. For geologists it is the nine peaks of an underwater
volcanic mountain range which extends some 8.000
metres below the surface. Our excursion* will take us to
a part of the island which was only formed in 1957: to
Capelinho. This caldera has a diameter of two kilometres;
the volcanic crater walls are 400 metres tall and Faial
became 2.4 square kilometres larger. Faial is also called
Illha Azul, the blue island: because blue hydrangeas
bloom nearly everywhere.
Ponta Delgada/São Miguel/Azores Tue., 13th Apr.
Arrival: 08.00 hours. São Miguel is the Azores’ largest
island; Ponta Delgada is its capital. In geological terms
this island is also still a baby: only some 10.000 years
young. On our tour of the island we will be seeing
the different faces of a volcanic region. Pineapple
plantations prove its fertility; rugged cliffs its danger;
the crater lakes, often surrounded by hot springs, its
spirited activity.

Wed., 14th Apr. to Fri., 16th Apr.
The last sailing leg was also a home game for earlier
Portuguese seafarers. Laden with treasure or at least
rich in experience they sailed for Lisbon – under full
sail, just like the SEA CLOUD II. Our windjammer will
glide across the ocean for a further three days. The
horizon is softly blurred between the sea and the sky.
The air and the water seem become one, to flow into
one another like the hours. The golden eagle flies
towards its destination. The journey is, however, the
reward for everyone on board, and its social high point
is the crowning farewell dinner – when we will once
again be able to recapitulate and analyse the maritime
highlights together.

The two 27 m2 Owner’s Suites located
on the Lido Deck feature panorama
windows, a fireplace, a canopied
king bed, four closets, TV with video,
a minibar, and a safe. Spacious marble
bathrooms are outfitted with a bathtub,
a shower, and a sink.
No. 218-223 (Cat. D)
Six De-Luxe Double Bed Cabins, at
19 m2, are located mid-ship on the
Cabin Deck. They have portholes, a
queen bed, a seating area, a closet,
TV with video, a minibar, and a safe.
The 3 m2 bathrooms feature a shower,
and a marble sink.
Junior Suites

Junior Suites, on the Promenade Deck,

Cabin-Categories of the SEA CLOUD.
Original Owner’s Suite No. 1 (Cat. A)
A marble fireplace, Louis-Philippe chairs, and the
double bed in antique white lacquer decorate the
38 m2 suite with walk-in closet. The 38 m2 marble
bathroom features a bathtub, sink with golden
swan fixtures, and an antique dressing table.
De-Luxe Original Cabin No. 7 (Cat. B)
The owner’s daughter, Dina, made it a habit to
sleep in this 24 m2, comfortable cabin furnished
with maple furniture, a fireplace, and a walk-in
closet. The 7 m2 marble bathroom sports a tub
with golden fixtures.
This apricot-hued cabin is 25 m2. In addition to
a king-size bed, antique pieces and grey-beige
marble in the 6 m2 bathroom lend an elegant
style. A walk-in closet and pullman bed is part
of the configuration.
Original Owner’s Suite No. 2 (Cat. A)
A maple-paneled living area, marble fireplace,
grand bathroom, and large, walk-in closet. Mr.
Hutton’s suite is 34 m2. The bathroom, done in red
Carrara marble, is 9 m2 and features a bathtub,
sink, and dresser.
A green-grey marble bathroom, a walk-in
closet, antique single beds, two stylish chairs,
a mirrored dresser, and a desk give this 24 m2
room its colonial flair. The bathroom, with tub,
measures 4 m2.
Styled after a room in an English manor, this
22 m2 cabin features carefully chosen antiques.
It also has a large walk-in closet and a 5 m2
bathroom with tub.
De-Luxe Outside Cabins No. 9 and 10 (Cat. C)
These two contemporary, elegant cabins once
housed the nanny and tutor of the owner’s
daughter. Cabin No. 9 measures 20 m2 and
has a marble bathroom with a tub. The 18,5
m2 Cabin No. 10 is equipped with a shower.
Both cabins have walk-in closets and ample
storage space. They are located at the end of
the hall and have their own staircase to the
Promenade Deck.
Double Bed Cabins No. 30, 31 (Cat. 1)
These two 13 m2 cabins on the Captain’s and Lido
Deck have a corner panorama window and elegant
bathrooms with showers.
Twin Bed Cabins No. 32-37 (Cat. 2)
Both 13,5 m2 cabins have two single beds,
panorama windows, and bathrooms fitted
with showers. They are located on the Captain’s
Deck.
With mahogany dressers, a marble bathroom and
fireplace, antique furnishings, and a large, walkin closet, this cabin of 20 m2 offers comfortable
elegance. Its 5,4 m2 marble bathroom is equipped
with a tub.
Twin Bed Cabins No. 18-25 (Cat. 3)
These 12,5 m2 cabins on the Promenade Deck
are furnished similarly to cabins No. 32-37.
Twin Bed Cabins No. 28, 29 (Cat. 4)
These 10,5 m2 cabins on the Promenade Deck are
furnished similarly to cabins No. 32-37.
Warm, bright, light colors create the joyful
atmosphere of this 18 m2 cabin with its ornate
antique furniture and marble fireplace. It also
has a walk-in closet and a 4 m2 bathroom with
a shower.
Upper/Lower Bed Cabins No. 14-17 (Cat. 5)
These 9,5 m2 cabins that once housed the ship’s
officers exude a maritime charm. They are fitted
with upper and lower single beds.

Useful information
and included services.
Cabin fittings:
Your cabin is fitted with a television with integrated video player (SEA CLOUD II only), a
direct-dial phone and a safe. Every cabin also
contains a range of non-alcoholic drinks which
you are welcome to enjoy free of charge. In the
bathroom you will find various toiletries, a bathrobe and a hair-dryer.
Change of schedule:
Even with the most meticulous route planning,
changes of schedule caused by weather conditions or unforeseeable events are possible. You
will be directly informed on board about any
changes.
Computer/email:
A laptop computer (notebook) is available
for you to use free of charge in the library
(SEA CLOUD II) and the lounge (SEA CLOUD).
Currency on board:
We use the EURO (B) as currency on board. All
credit cards in common use are also accepted
(MasterCard, Diners Club, American Express and
VISA) as are travellers‘ cheques.
Dietary Requirements/Restrictions:
Passengers are requested to notify us of any
special dietary requirements, restrictions, allergies or preferences in advance of the cruise, so
that we are prepared to meet their individual
needs.
Dress code:
You determine the style of your clothing –
whether casual or summery-elegant. However,
classics – a dark suit and a festive cocktail dress
– are the best choice at the traditional Captain’s
dinner.
Electric voltage:
The voltage on board is 220 V. There is an electric shaver point in every bathroom.
Gratuities:
Gratuities are not included and are at each
passenger’s discretion. At the end of the voyage,
designated tip envelopes will be available at the
lounge. We suggest B 14 per person per day as
a guideline.
Hospital:
The hospital is run by a ship‘s doctor, who can
be contacted day and night in an emergency.
Any special treatment required must be agreed
in advance.
Internet:
You may use an onboard laptop to log on to the
internet. Please see purser’s office on SEA CLOUD
and the reception on the SEA CLOUD II for
a laptop.
Restaurant:
On both ships, meals are served in one open
seating. You will find the service times in the daily
programme on board.
Your cruise rate includes the
following:
• Your sailing cruise in the booked cabin category
• English speaking tour guide on board
• Travel documents with geographical information
• All port fees
• Soft drinks throughout the entire trip
• All non-alcoholic tea and coffee specialities
throughout the entire trip
