When is a spade not just a spade? When it’s a Mortar too! Sarco has the ‘Kamabee Keep’
rework of the coolest mortar design in the history of warfare. Innovative Russian designers took
the concept of the standard ‘Entrenching Tool’ that every soldier wore on his belt, and elevated
it to ‘Heavy Weapon Status’, by allowing it to dig trenches & also fire 37mm Mortar Rounds! Designed in the late 1930s and fielded against Finland in late 1939/40 in the Russo Finn War, and
throughout WW2 along the Russian Front.
Never been on the U.S. or World market! It can be attached to your belt using the canvas &
leather carrier, be detached to operate as a small shovel, or used to lob rounds on the enemy.
Transforms into a mortar in @15 seconds with practice. This is a new made replication of the
original and is non-firing. Sarco Inc. carries this item exclusively and they are currently in stock.
We also have the ‘late war’ style 15 round bandolier used by troops to carry mortar ammunition including Mosin Nagant Rifle ammunition. To top it off, we have replica 37mm Mortar inert
display rounds available too !
The only place to see this item in the entire world is in a Russian military museum. Truly this is
a piece of ordnance lost to history! The design concept was amazing and its impact could still be
amazing in this day & age! Imagine a platoon of infantry Riflemen also each carrying 15 mortar
shells and working as a fire and maneuver machine. Stalinist purges and a failure to develop better ammunition put this idea to sleep before its time!

JAPANESE MODEL 99 ARMORED SHIELD
Japanese WW2 issued steel shield as fielded in 1939 for Machine Gunners and also used by Arisaka
riflemen in defensive positions. Seen throughout the Pacific campaign and in China/Manchuria.
Several versions were developed, and these were primarily used by Type 96 and Type 99 machine
gunners, but riflemen also used them as was seen extensively throughout Guadalcanal. Shield has a
carrying handle and adjustable stability brace. Very few have made it back to the U.S. after the war,
but Sarco has had the shield reproduced from an original. A smart design and finally available for
military collectors! With some Kevlar laminates applied, this shield could make an excellent personal

except for several features that are unfinished to comply with BATF directives
classifying these as Non-Firearms in their present condition. Slide rails, hammer & sear pin holes, mainspring housing retaining pin, and ejector leg holes

be easily modified to Series 70 with the use of a commonly available adapter

GUIDANCE FOR YOUR PARA SLIDE PURCHASE
All our Para slides are cut for the series 80 type firing pin interlock. Complete slides are built
with series 80 parts and a ramped barrel that will fit in 1911 frames that are modified for ramped
match barrels. You can build these up to work in standard U.S. G.I. 1911 type (series 70) pistols
if you wish, However doing so disables the safety features of the series 80.
Striped single action slides will work on any standard series 70 or 80, 1911 frame (series 70 is the
standard 1911) when built with the appropriate parts.
The Para LDA is a double action slide that will work only on Para LDA frames. You can however
cut the disconnector scallop in and use the slide on any standard series 70 or 80 1911 frame.
The 6" and 5" slide use standard 1911 recoil spring plugs and barrel bushing. The 4.25" slides
use Commander type recoil parts. The 3" and 3.5" slides use a unique recoil mechanism that is
available commercially.
There are 2 variations of extractors used on these Para slides. The first is the standard type which
uses any standard .45 extractor. The second is a PXT type. On this style the forward part of the extractor support rib is slightly larger in diameter. We have read that people have used G.I. extractors
as they are the same diameter in the back. PXT extractors or adapter bushings are available from
other sources. We will also soon have these available.

ALLIED D-DAY FIGHTING KNIFE
Clever designs for fighting knives were applied
and issued to various units prior to D-day as
units waited for the invasion. One inspired
design during this period was made using the French cruciform Lebel
blade set within a knurled steel handle. Far sleeker than the British
Sykes, U.S. V42 stilettos, and M3 knives, this @7 inch blade was very
low profile and quick to penetrate any clothing or tissue which made
it ideal for sentry removal. Also, where a grinding wheel was available,
each of the 4 edges of the cruciform blade could be sharpened to assist

ITALIAN WW2 ‘SAMURAI’ MAGAZINE VEST
Another First on the U.S. market as Sarco brings you another ‘Kamabee Keep’
item that is as rare as ‘hens teeth’! The WW2 Italian Paratrooper canvas &
leather vest referred to as the ‘Samurai’ vest, was a staple of the 185th Parachute Division that was famous for their preparation of the invasion of Malta,
and importantly for the 2nd battle of El Alamein where they resisted 4 British
Infantry Divisions and 2 Armor Divisions thrown against them. Continued
their courageous stands at Monte Casino and after Italy capitulated, they
continued with the Germans as the 4th Fallschirmjager Division which fought
until May 1945. The entire time , they operated with this smart chest rig that held 5 Beretta M38
magazines on the front and 7 on the back along with 6 grenades on the waist pouches. This vest would
still be viable in todays military operations if you inserted body armor plates or Kevlar! Very comfortable and a brilliant design! It is applicable and useful with numerous other submachine gun magazine

During the trench warfare of WWI, the
Germans developed these magazines to
increase the firepower of their 98 Mausers. Easily installed in any GEW. 98 rifle
by merely removing the floor plate from
the rifle’s trigger guard, and replacing it
with the trench magazine. Original trench
magazines are very rare and valuable.
We now have this quality reproduction
identical to the originals right down to the
proof marks! Will also work in 98K, Kar
98a, Vz 24, and most M98 style Mauser
rifles. Blued steel, complete with follower,
spring and follower retainer with chain.

HEAVY BARRELS
We took some of our fabulous Swedish 8mm
heavy barrels blanks – had them threaded for
98 Mauser actions. These have a nice heavy
profile and are 1 3/16" at chamber and 15/16"
at muzzle. Length is 22 3/8". Our barrel maker
commented “I would be proud if I made a barrel
of this fine quality” – These are fully chambered
but of course still need to be headspaced by a

PLEASE NOTE:
These barrels have a slightly deep chamber for a
reason. If you have a shallow chamber, you will
need to use a chambering reamer to adjust headspace. With this method you can adjust head
space by turning back the shoulder and breech
a bit to accommodate the headspace dimension.
This also solves any variance from the chambering reamers pilot and the throat dimension in the
reamer. No need to buy a chambering reamer.

Here you have a faithful reproduction of the ZF39 Scope as used by German Snipers
during WWII. This scope has the proper finish, weight, size and steel tube diameter
(26.5mm) to install the low turret mount and short side rail mount that
Germany produced for their Sharp Shooters (Scharfschutzen). The power
scope has bullet drop compensator that runs from 100 to 1,000 meters, with
increment marks every 50 meters and a focus adjustment vane. The three-post
reticle and clarity is superb, both ends are just hand tight in order to remove and
install closed rings low turret mounts, if other mount is going to be used, just
tightened by hand all the way. Now you have the chance to get your Mauser 98K or
long rifle fitted with the optics and mounts that made the German Sniper System so

Was made by Berlin-Lübecker
Maschinenfabrik, a German
WWII firearms manufacturer,
the company made all the ZF41 Marksman scope mounts
from 1941 till 1944.
Another added feature is that you
can install it yourself without the
need for drilling and tapping and
that was something the German Army had in mind, they could
send the mount and scope to the field and with a small punch
and a brass hammer, the scope was installed in minutes, thus
making a standard 98K into a Sniper System.
