GENERAL TERMS
ARBITRATION
Should any controversy or claims by either party arise out of or relating to this Agreement, or the breach thereof,
it shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association at Los Angeles,
California, and judgement upon the award rendered by the arbitrators may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. Such an award may include costs of the defense of such controversy or claim, including attorneys’ fees
and costs of obtaining evidence.
JURISDICTION
This contract is deemed to be entered into in Chatsworth, Los Angeles County, California. In the event of dispute
between the parties, any action shall be maintained in Los Angeles, California.
LIMITATION
Any action for breach of this contract or for injury as a result of the products sold, must be brought within one (1)
year of the date of the contract or within six (6) months of the date of injury.
APPLICABLE LAW
This contract shall be governed by the Uniform Commercial Code as adopted in the State of California.

main journals. Micro-polish finish and chamfered oil holes provide for proper oil
clearance and improved lubrication.
CONNECTING RODS – Our stock factory rods are fully remanufactured, including complete inspection, machine cleaning and shot blasting.
New bronze pin bushings are installed along with new chrome moly rod
bolts. The big ends and pin bores are precision machined for correct pin fit
and bearing oil clearance resulting in the perfect rod for your Hemi.
PISTONS – Choose between factory replacement 10.5:1 cast pistons or
forged pistons custom made in the compression ratio of your choice. (Allow 4 to 6
weeks delivery for custom pistons.) You may also choose from our in-stock selection
of forged pistons in 10:1 or 8:1 compression ratio at no extra cost. (Forged kit only.)

Now you can send us your 354 or 392 connecting rods and
have our own expert machinists completely re-manufacture
your rods*. We’ll thoroughly clean and inspect your rods for
any cracks or defects and check the weights to make sure the
set will balance. We shot peen the surface to relieve any
stress risers. We’ll install new chrome moly rod bolts and
new bronze pin bushings. Then we’ll resize both ends to
exact tolerance for size and roundness. Finally, we’ll balance
the rods for individual weight as well as matching the big
ends and pin ends. You’ll get a matched set of balanced rods
that are ready to install and provide your Hemi with years of
trouble free performance. Rods are done in full sets only.
* Cores must be complete with correct caps and must be close enough in
weight to be balanced. Bent, twisted or cracked rods will not be serviced.

BENEFITS OF THE P.A.W. KING BEARINGS
With the stresses modern engines undergo, a better,
longer-lasting bearing material would be a breakthrough
of major importance.
KING Engine Bearings' “Alecular™” bearing material
is just such a breakthrough.
Traditional rod and main bearing construction includes
a three-layer configuration composed of the steel backing of the bearing, a layer of copper-lead, and a thin
(.0005"-.0008") overlay of babbitt material.
KING’s Alecular bearings use just two layers, a high
strength steel backing plus a layer (.012"-.015" thick) of
our proprietary Alecular bearing material.
Alecular material is exclusive to KING. It is an alloy of
aluminum, tin, copper and several other elements.
Because it is an alloy, it maintains its properties throughout its entire depth, delivering more consistent and reliable performance.
BENEFITS OF ALECULAR BEARING CONSTRUCTION
• The layer of Alecular material is far thicker than traditional babbitt overlays (.015" vs. .0008"). This provides much greater embedability, especially for the
macro-particles (greater than .0004" in diameter) that
are most responsible for scratching crankshaft journals and tearing or weakening thin babbitt overlays.

• Improved conformability compared to babbitt overlay
bearings, in case journals touch the bearing surface
due to misalignment or connecting rod bore stretch.
Greater conformability means fewer bearing failures.
• Vastly improved temperature resistance. Alecular
material’s melting/fatigue point is over 1,100 degrees
F., almost three times as high as babbitt overlays' 400
degree threshold. This means added protection
against localized overheating due to misalignment,
detonation, overloading, loss of coolant, etc.
• High load capacity. Alecular bearings have successfully withstood the stresses of blown, nitromethaneburning Top Fuel dragsters generating 5,500 hp at
8,000 rpm, and in 700 hp circle track engines running
extended periods at 8,000 rpm.

get the oil filter off the side of the engine block and into a

For the T10 4-speed Transmission - HEM-5955* a
kit is designed with a transmission adapter
plate which uses choke rings to accommodate
various transmisson and bellhousing combinations. It includes two rings with a 4.684" I.D.
which is the standard & most common GM size.
Other rings are available however, if a different
transmission and/or bellhousing are used, fit and
compatibility are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Therefore, we suggest using one of the
recommended tranmissions listed below (or
equivalent) for proper fit. Altered, modified or
installed parts may not be returned.

brazed and include more sophisticated bearings. Consequently
they are able to withstand much more torque and horsepower. A
Tork Master is a great value for mild big blocks and most small

This kit is used to relocate the thermostat
when factory style water
crossover cannot be
used. This kit is a must
have when putting 354
heads on a 392 engine.
It includes two billet aluminum end caps for the
cylinder heads which accept 1/2" NPT fittings. This permits the use of hose nipples, AN fittings, etc. allowing you
to mount the thermostat housing in the location of your
choice. Housing unit accepts two 1/2" NPT fittings on one
end, and one 1/2" NPT fitting (for heater take off) plus an
outlet for a temperature sending unit on the other end.
Housing uses regular Chevrolet thermostats and water
necks, and has two threaded bosses on the bottom for
mounting. Kit includes thermostat housing & 2 cylinder
head end plates with bolts and gaskets. Hose and fittings
not included. Note: We carry a complete line of hose, AN

compressor to the top right side of your carbureted engine. Heavy duty construction and

This high quality heavy duty steel
bracket has been designed by P.A.W.
engineers to mount Saginaw/GM style
power steering pumps to early Chrysler
Hemi blocks. It positions the pump on the
lower left side of the engine, keeping the
pump as close to the inside as possible to provide
clearance even in narrow frame rail applications. This
bracket allows true bolton installation using
existing mount flanges
and requires no additional modifications. GM has
designed several styles
of pumps and “reservoirs”
which provide various
pressure and return line
positions on the back of the pump. Your choice of pump
and reservoir may vary because of line requirements
depending on chassis and steering system being used.
Our bracket system requires a P/S pulley (not included)
which will position the center of the V groove approximately 1.690 from the end of the pump shaft (*see diagram). Most 74 & earlier Saginaw GM pumps will work
and should have a 5/8" key slotted shaft with a bolt on
pulley. For these units we recommend March aluminum
pulley # 523. Kit

Hemis ruled the streets and drag strips everywhere. This new top
fits the P.A.W. #5750 Tunnel Ram Base and allows the installation
of 8 Stromberg 97 2BBL carbs. That’s right, 8 two barrels mounted on top of your Hemi. Now that’s performance with a distinctive look that’s equally
impressive. The top consists of an intermediate section which bolts from the inside to
the Tunnel Ram Base. The 8-carb top plate then bolts to the center section from underneath with counter-sunk Allen screws. The result is an incredibly smooth, clean transition from the
base to the top with no exposed hardware. Available in satin cast finish or beautifully polished to a
show finish. Includes intermediate section, 8-carb top, base gasket for tunnel ram intake and necessary

A popular racers trick back in the 60’s was to install 354
heads on 392 engines. The smaller chamber increased
compression and some thought the 354 heads actually flowed better.
However, that presented a problem finding an intake manifold since no
one made a performance intake for this swap. P.A.W. to the rescue.
Our billet intake manifold spacers are CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for exact fit. They allow the use of any 392 intake on 392
engines with 354 heads. Requires 2 sets of intake gaskets (not included) and longer intake bolts. Sold in pairs.

Electronic Distributor Series No. 37
The Unilite® Electronic Distributor is now considered the industry
standard for electronic ignition distributors. Over 18 years of engineering,
development and race testing has produced the most advanced ignition
system in the performance industry. The UNILITE Electronic Distributor is
triggered by a self-contained photo-optic infrared L.E.D. system using
Mallory’s time tested breakerless ignition circuit, combined with modern
surface mount Thermal-Clad® construction that has no moving parts to
adjust or wear out. The UNILITE infrared L.E.D. system can drive both
original equipment and high performance ignition coils. A simple three
wire hookup allows it to fit a wide variety of engine configurations and is
designed for 12-volt systems. Mallory has precisely calibrated the
mechanical advance curve for normal driving conditions. However, the
mechanical advance curve may be adjusted to meet your specific driving
or racing requirements.

The Ready-to-Run
Distributors incorporate a
maintenance-free magnetic pickup and an inductive
ignition module that delivers a powerful spark to
the hemispherical combustion chamber. This hot
spark improves combustion
of the fuel mixture resulting
in quick starts, a smooth idle
and great performance.
Tuning in a timing advance
curve is easy as the advance is
mounted on top of the QPQ-coated shaft for
easy access. Different advance springs and
stop bushings are supplied giving you 24
curves to choose from. There is also a vacuum advance canister for cruising economy.
Installation of the distributor is simple with
only three wires to connect! This keeps your
engine compartment uncluttered and looking
the nostalgia part!

We can ship your order Federal Express if you
prefer. These orders must be prepaid and include
the customer’s Fed Exp. Account #. NO COD ON

received by 1:00PM PT and will be charged a
$9.95 handling fee. Freight charges will be billed
to customer’s FedEx Account Number. Sorry, no

POSTAL SERVICE
We ship most overseas orders through the
Postal System unless otherwise specified.
Orders to be shipped Post must be prepaid,
including postal charges, and will be charged a
$9.95 handling fee. We offer surface post as
standard shipping and air post for those customers who need their parts sooner. Post
orders are subject to size and weight restrictions set forth by the postal system.
TRUCK FREIGHT
Items in this catalog which show the
Truck Freight symbol are too large or too heavy
for UPS and will be shipped by common carrier. All truck freight shipments must be prepaid
and will be charged our minimum $9.95 handling fee. All short block and long block kits will
be charged a $25.00 crate & pallet fee. Freight
charges will be collected upon delivery. We recommend checking with your salesperson for

In order to ship your parts as quickly as possible it may be necessary to back order an
item(s) until shipments from our manufacturers
arrive. We will ship all back orders as soon as
possible. Back orders will not be cancelled

RETURNS

If you need to return or exchange an item,
please contact our Customer Service De partment to obtain an authorization.
We will accept returns for refund or exchange
for a period of 30 days from the date of your
invoice. Returns made after 30 days but before
90 days from date of invoice will be subject to
a 20% restocking fee. ABSOLUTELY NO
RETURNS AFTER 90 DAYS from date of
invoice. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges on any return merchandise.
All returns (except warranty) must be new
and unused in original packaging including
all parts and printed matter. Package your
return carefully and securely to prevent
damage during shipping. Be sure to mark
your return authorization #, invoice # and
return address clearly on the outside of the
box. Be sure to include a brief note informing us why you are returning the item and
action to be taken (i.e. exchange, refund,
credit, etc.)
Return items should be shipped regular
ground service only, unless otherwise
instructed and authorized by our Customer
Service Dept. If you need assistance, please
contact our Customer Service Department.
Do not ship your return by bus lines. Do not
ship your return COD. All returns must be
prepaid freight. PAW is not responsible for
shipping or freight charges on return merchandise.
SHIPPING DAMAGE. Be sure to note any
obvious damage to the carrier at time of delivery. Any concealed damage must be reported
to PAW and to the carrier within 24 hours of
receipt of the goods.
DEFECTS. For warranty information, or to
return defective merchandise, please contact
the Customer Service Department for authorization.
SPECIAL ORDERS. Special order and custom
made parts are NOT returnable. NOTE: Any
item returned without authorization will be
“Refused.”
WARRANTY
Merchandise is guaranteed in accordance with the
manufacturer’s own terms of warranty. All defective
merchandise must be returned subject to inspection
by the manufacturer before any claim can be made.
Any and all parts sold for racing, competition, or off
road use are sold without warranty of any kind other
than manufacturing defects or damage noted prior
to installation. Once installed and/or run, these
parts are not eligible for return.
